They came early on Friday and had the entire old and cracking double wide driveway and apron ripped out, new gravel and subsurface graded and rolled and all prepped for Paving . Said they would be here at Mon at 8am and they showed up at 7:30 ready to work, They were done before noon and did an awesome job. Cleaned up every bit of spilled paving material. The crew was absolutely fantastic, Polite, Courteous and definitely Professional. Their estimate was a little higher than the other two but Joe (the Owner) took the time to fully explain everything he was going to do and the reasons why . Overall a Fantastic job!

Joe Cooper is organized and courteous. I took comfort in that this is a business that's been going for FOUR GENERATIONS! In fact, his father was there--I got to meet him as well. They were fast, organized and did excellent work. I would highly recommend them! One more thing: they actually gave us the LOWEST BID!

Wow, fantastic customer service, professional job, the quote was the quote and what I paid. They came on-time (7:45am) and finish by 1:30 pm. My home is a connected barn farmhouse built in 1885 and the excavating uncovered huge boulders! Everything was perfectly cleaned from the road. And with 3 quotes, Joe Cooper was right in the middle. I would highly recommend Joe Cooper for any paving needs!!!

After much less than a year, I have low spots in my driveway, collecting water, frost heaves in my driveway in the winter, and a section at the end of the driveway where they ran out of material and had to get more which sticks put like a sore thumb. After a lot of convincing, Joe came out to look at what I was talking about. After telling me he could cut out the low spots and patch it in, no that is not what I paid for! Or he could grind the top, which I would have to pay for. Needless to say, our meeting did not go well and was unproductive. Save yourself a headache and go with a different company.

Showed up on time, completed very diligently (these guys work hard!!) and did more than was asked of them. The driveway (about 4500 sq ft) was done very professionally and competitively. It's a real family affair, with Son (Joe Cooper), Dad and Grandfather -- along with brothers and an uncle all pitching in. Would definitely hire them again and recommend their work. Will see next spring how it holds up to its first Maine winter.

Four generation family business. Joe, his father and his grandfather came to the job. All great guys. Fast, efficient and very customer oriented. They finished my driveway including putting a gravel base down in 4 - 5 hours. Then a neighbor came by and hired them and they did his driveway after lunch. Highly recommended.
