AGREN APPLIANCE

We purchased a washing machine on December 26, for delivery the following week. We got a call that Monday, saying they had "oversold" the machine we bought. Three weeks later we cancelled, having reached the limit of our patience. We had to wait another week to get our refund. (January 22nd!)

While my wife and I knew, for the most part, which appliances we wanted going in, we did get a fair amount of assistance to choose the refrigerator... which was great. Very knowledgeable. The representative was very responsive and helped perform valid price comparisons with the "big box" stores. In the end, Agren's price was as good as what I could find anywhere. My only area of concern happened at delivery-time when for some reason, the Agren guys pushed back a bit when told which direction to go to get into the kitchen (e.g the back door). While it got resolved, it was totally unnecessary and gave a slightly bad taste to what was otherwise a very positive experience. That said, I would definitely use them again.

They were very helpful and knowledgeable in the store. We had very limited space to put the stove and refrigerator in our new house but they helped us find the features we wanted. They delivered the appliances exactly when they promised. The items were correct and fit as they said they would. They did not rush through the set up but took the time to explain the features of each appliance and make sure the placement was just how we wanted it. They took out the old appliances and were not put out when we took the time to clean before placing the new ones in. They were very friendly, courteous, and professional.

I had a model in mind that I wanted, although I was open to others. I went to the store, where a clerk showed me various models, including the one I had in mind. At first they did not think they had any in stock, other than the floor model, so I arranged to pick one up in a few days. Later that afternoon, they called me & said they did have one after all, so I went back to the store. The unit was in a sealed box, and the floor unit was still on display, so I believe they really did find one that they had overlooked, and not just boxed up the display unit. The unit was on sale, making it a few dollars cheaper than the same model at the local big box stores.
