Description of Work: I canceled the yearly fee but was charged anyway

Description of Work: I'm reviewing you, Angie's List. I didn't find the service met my needs, and contacted your "chat " service for assistance. Rachael Charmaine took care of me in a very professional, pleasing and agreeable manner. She represented the quality service that Angie's List bases its business model after. Someone please recognize her. All to offer people only complain, but it's the complements which inspire behavior.

Description of Work: My provider Angie's list failed completely. They offer a service provider that did not provide service in my area. They took $550 of my money. After not hearing from my service provider, I called and they advised that they do not provide service in my area. I immediately tried to contact Angie's List. But their message said no one was working that day due to a company meeting. So you get it? They charge you to help find quality service providers, and then obvioulsly do not do what is required to provide quality service themselves. My wife asked me why I paid to join Angie's List? Good question. All they really do is take your money and provide nothing in return. Travis

Description of Work: Your service has left me very frustrated on several occasions in TWO different states. In each attempt to use your service the online screens have changed so they DO NOT allow the user to pick/change the distance one is searching for/from to the potential service providers. When I originally mentioned this when on the Outer Banks during your first year there you were creating your site, however, your site does not state distance from the location the user is located nor does anything properly state distances in DRIVE TIME. In the Outer Banks when I search I get providers THREE or more hours away which is fine IF your listings sorted them by distance from user location with correct drive time NOT by flight of a Bird. In Florida this also applies because some providers will/do travel all over the state but this is not a searchable/filter field. I have received some of the same less than quality performances from Angie's List as from Home Advisor I have asked some providers why they were not on your data base & each said your charge money "TOO MUCH MONEY". I guess I do not have a problem if there is a charge when & if a provider has not been listed previously by a customer as long as this status is stated up front clearly & updated once users have provided their reviews. So I can't filter the distance thus I have to read through the minutia which I am not going to do.

Description of Work: Angie's list web site is relentlessly poor. I am unable to filter my searches by distance or any other category. My Angie's List experience has been extremely poor.

Description of Work: I HATE THIS COMPANY AND CANNOT GET AWAY FROM THEM. THEY KEPT CHARGING ME FOR AN ACCOUNT I TRIED TO DELETE AND THEY FILL MY INBOX WITH GARBAGE, EVEN AFTER CALLING THEM AND TELLING THEM TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT, WHICH THEY REFUSED!
