+ -1 moreJim did a beautiful job and took the time to do things right. He was thorough, conscientious, neat, respectful, easy to work with and professional. He also was great with our dogs. We felt comfortable having him in our home, whether we were there, or not. His sub-contractors also did solid work. Overall, a very positive experience.
Description of Work: Jim helped us with the renovation of our master bathroom. He removed the tile on floor, tub surround and in shower stall, replaced duroc where needed and installed new tile throughout. He raised the ceiling and lowered the floor of the shower stall and added a shower light and integral shampoo/soap cubby and corner stool. He removed the glass shower door and re-installed it after he completed the tile work and installed new tub and shower faucets. He also coordinated/sub-contracted the plumber and electrician.

+ 0 moreWe had been looking for a contractor to renovate our aging playroom and half bath for quite some time. Of the companies we contacted - several never got back to us and others just did not come through with plans, estimates, etc. Thankfully, Windsor changed all this. From customer service to the service provided we had an excellent experience working with Windsor. Excellent enough that we have asked them to come back and renovate our aging kitchen. Jim (company owner) arrived at the same time each morning and worked quietly around our family while always leaving the worksite organized, dust free and no mess. At no point did we ever see tools lying around or materials left on the floor and I consider that fairly important when you have two young children. When Jim arrived, he was more than happy to discuss any issues or concerns we had and while at work he relayed updates to us on a timely basis. The project was completed approximately 2 weeks ago and we still find the work performed as top notch. There have been no issues. We recommend Windsor Construction and look forward to them remodeling our kitchen.
Description of Work: Renovation of an aging .5 bathroom and playroom. The renovation included: Placing new drywall over the existing paneling in both the playroom and bath (priming the walls for painting) Pulling up existing carpet and refinishing the parquet flooring in the playroom Replacing ceramic tiling in the bathroom Replace existing vanity with a pedestal sink Replacing toilet in the bathroom Removing built-in shelving from playroom Replacing the baseboards in both the playroom and bath

+ 1 moreJim from Windsor was very flexible when the hall bath was added on to the main kitchen job, and when we changed kitchen vendors after everything was all "set to go." Jim was always professional and is just a nice guy to work with. We also used Windsor about 5 years ago to finish our basement. We plan on using Windsor Construction again in the future.
Description of Work: We had our kitchen and a hall bath remodeled with Windsor Construction and couldn't be happier. Windsor installed new cabinets, new lighting, exhaust and was here to supervise the granite install. In the hall bath, we did a new vanity, toilet, and tile floor. Both rooms look great and look like we spent a lot more. Jim really helped us to keep the costs down.

Free estimates; evening hours for site visits by appointment.
