From the design to the beautifully finished unique yard, the service was `best of the best'. Donna worked with me to pick the best plants for my needs, and the installation crew deserves more kudos than I can write here. Their price was about midway of the 3 quotes I got, but I picked them mostly for their attention to detail in the planning, and their reputation with people I actually know, (not just reviews). They do have a one year 100% replacement warranty on plants they install, so that part of the Angie's List description is incorrect.

The drawing and design were very good. Their punctuality and communication were good. I worked with the designer before and she had done another garden for me. They have good customer service. They are punctual and they show up on time. They have things ready when they say it’s going to be. I have nothing to compare their price to.

Everything was great. They were prompt and courteous, they really listened to our requests, and they used quality materials. They even followed up afterward to ensure we were happy with the work.

It is always an amazing experience there. We go there at least twice each year to add to our landscape!

We visited Sun Nurseries expecting to pick out trees for our rear property line. After speaking with one of their professional landscape designers, we decided to have Sun Nurseries provide and plant the trees. They also did a small bed of other bushes. The designer visited our home and property to make sure we were provided with the best possible choice. She was very professional and helpful. The installers arrived as scheduled and on time. They worked in the rain to plant all the trees and bushes we had purchased. We are very pleased with the results.

Edgar call before he left and told us his approximate arrival time. He spent a half hour of consultation time with us as we toured our yard. His landscaping advice was practical and helpful.

The Nursery is one of the largest I've visited. I was looking for particular plants and trees like Dee Runk Boxwoods and a couple of unusual trees, which were not available at the other 7 nurseries I had called. Sun Nursery had them and they were in excellent condition. Their prices are higher than the nursery I generally use, but they have a much larger selection, and the people there are very helpful. The place is so big that they actually give you a walking map to navigate the sections. This is a must-do trip for all gardeners within driving distance.

I was happy with the service. They were very knowledgeable and very helpful in terms of finding the bushes. Couple of bushes were not in a good condition, but they fully warranted everything. They had a good price and the collection was good.

The very patient and informed staff helped me to determine the proper tree for my front yard I needed to block an unfriendly street light. I am picky so this was a chore but I walked away VERY satisfied with my/our selection and will be very happy to have this beautiful tree as a welcoming introduction to my home. The price was right and the professionalism was outstanding. I highly recommend Sun Nurseries!

The customer service was very good. They seemed knowledgeable.

The person who answered our questions for what plants would be best suited for the side of our porch was knowledgeable and really worked hard to ensure to provide us with all the options possible. He did not push for expensive plants and even suggested to buy smaller plants that were cheaper. Other staffs were able to answer our questions for specific plants. Everyone knows all the plants and their care. They have a large variety of plants and all prices.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable. I dealt with a manager due to the large quantity of specialty mulch we were purchasing. They were timely and extremely helpful!!

Everybody who did the work knew exactly what they were doing, and they followed the design exactly. I went there, and I picked out the shrubs that I wanted. They exactly brought the flowers and shrubs that I picked. They also brought all the equipment for landscaping. They had with them all very good quality merchandise. The people there were very knowledgeable to what they were doing. They were on time, and they were neat. They cleaned up after themselves. They also did our nursery. This huge company is family-owned. They grow their own plants right in the ground which make them ideal. Everybody that works there knows what they are talking about. They all got some kind of background in gardening, shrub or landscaping. I tell everybody to go there. They grow their plants in their ground so ou can go up there and pick a tree that is in the ground and have it delivered. It is really nice.

Everything from the initial contact to the onsite design/measurement meeting to the final design plan review and tour through the nursery to view all selected plantings went very well. The only concern was some delay in receipt of the plan that then bumped up against the holidays' preparations and events, resulting in postponement of any actual landscaping until 2013.

I found Sun Nurseries on Angie's List, and called to see if they could replace some trees that were struck down from a recent and severe storm. I called them in October. The landscaper assigned to my area called back about a week and we set a time for the walk-through. She was punctual and we both had the same aesthetic about choices of trees. She listened and provided feedback as to what would fit into our current landscape and also gave an idea of what could be done later down the line. The trees she picked fit the color story of the existing plants. The next for was a visit to the Nursery and to pick the trees. Staff members were so courteous and interested in all things regarding plants. I was given ample and cautionary care information. A staff member followed as I went around the lot picking the trees. She then tagged them. While our set planting date was for end of November, I had two visits prior to then. One was to grind a stump a month ahead of time so one of the trees could be planted correctly. The other time was to have one of the county electrician check to see if the designated plant spots were not 'live'. When the plant date arrived, they were on time. The trees look healthy, and I'm taking care of them per their advice. I can't wait to see they bloom in Spring.

We lost many trees during the blizzard of 2010. We had Sun Nurseries replace 11 of them. They were on time on the date promised, and they did an EXCELLENT job.

I spent a little over $10000 on that work. I was satisfied overall with them. I worked with the designer closely.

The trees were very thick and healthy and have done wonderfully. The fencing was a new service, quite pricy because of the labor involved. We had a bit of a disagreement over how wide the fence should be to accommodate tree growth. I paid extra to have the diameter enlarged. I don't think I would go with the fencing if I had it to do over. However, I planted a similar height tree from one of the big box stores around the same time. The Sun Nursery trees are now much bigger and thicker.

When I acquainted with the neighborhood nursery they were just dependable. They are very professional and trustworthy. The work is going to be done next week.

The product had one year warnty and they stuck to it. They were very possessional friendly, and on time. Every thing worked out like they said and we were very happy. I would recommend them others.

I had a perennial garden along a driveway that was out of control (inherited with a house purchased 3 years ago) and other landscaping questions. I called Sun Nurseries for a consultation which resulted in a landscaping plan. The consulation resulted in very useful suggestions and the landscape plan was submitted a week ahead of schedule which was good because fall was advancing quickly. Sun Nursuries provided a proposal to install the plants, but I chose to use my own gardener which was a mistake. In retrospect, I should have used Sun Nurseries. The installation would have been performed right. The plants I purchased were of excellent quality and health. The staff was very helpful when I went their facility to choose the plants and delivery was made on schedule. Overall, the area (a 50' by 5' strip) reworked by Sun Nursuries is just beautiful and I can't wait until spring.

We would go back to the nursery for additional purchases.

From my initial call to request a design consultation to the final follow-up call by the production manager to ensure everything was complete, my relationship with this company was smooth, timely and professional. Donna prepared an excellent plan that incorporated the low maintainance approach that I had requested and made several visits before and during the installation. I met with her at the nursery to view the plants and trees in the design before contracting to have the work done. The hardscape subcontractor (Walnut Fields Landscaping) did an excellent job. Jim was meticulous about his work and was easy to work with even though I had chosen a paver and block that he had not used before. During the week it took for that work to be completed, Jim suggested changes to improve the overall appearance and functionality and answered any questions I had. The installation crew from the nursery took just a half day to till the soil while adding Leaf-Gro compost, edge the beds, and install the plants and trees and 4 cubic yards of mulch. They worked very smoothly and efficiently. They honored my request not to walk on the new sod any more than necessary. They were friendly and easy to talk with and left the site cleaner than when they arrived. Everyone I dealt with on this project was professional and easy to work with and my calls were returned promptly. The work was top notch. I would not hesitate to use them again. . The cr
