DELTA TEMP LLC

George Hanft at Delta Temp has serviced my 40+ year old HVAC unit for years. We knew that we would have to replace it at some point. Of course the AC blew up when temperatures were in the 90s. Even though George was buried with other jobs, he found time to come by and take a look. A quick assessment told us we needed a full replacement. Our older Columbia house provided many challenges. George had to custom build much of the duct work to fit into the new unit. Everything was done with workmanship you just don't see much of these days. George and his son finished the job in a timely manner and left the work space cleaner than when they arrived. The only problem is that there is only one George!

We moved into an older house, and our A/C was leaking a good amount of water. Additionally, the Aprilaire Humidifier, attached to the unit, had a disgusting filter that looked covered in mold. Our outside unit also looked old and sounded loud. We were going to have the whole thing replaced, and the owner of Delta Temp came out and said we would be throwing our money down the drain. He blew out the clogged drain pipe for the A/C, which now drips without leaking into our sub-pump. He immediately replaced the Humidifier filter, saying it was not mold but calcium build-up and needed replacement anyway. He noted and showed me that the furnace burners looked new and showed no signs of overuse or age. He checked the air filter and went outside to check freon levels and put more freon into the system. Did I mention he also came out 15 minutes after I called him (he was in the area). Great work. Wish they had a coupon on here. He charges $75 per visit plus $95 for the first hour.

Installed new thermostat in living room. Completed the work in a timely manner.
