They were fast, efficient and 100% professional. They had my living room, dining room, 3 bedrooms, hallway and stairs all done in one day. The outcome is absolutely perfect. Thanks again!

Aaron was very prompt, as was his work crew. The floor in question was badly stained and quite damaged by pets and previous owners. The two-man crew worked steadily and finished the entire task in one day, and one of them even vacuumed parts of the downstairs floor where there was some (very little) dust residue. All in all, we were extremely pleased with the work. Everyone was quite pleasant and VERY hard-working. We hope to use this company again.

AG Construction did a good job with the hardwood installation. My only complaint, which is major one, is that the drywall around my steps were damaged when installing the hardwood on the steps. It now has to be repaired and painted. The owner was responsive and made an attempt to remedy my concern, but I can't accept these types of mistakes from any professional contractor.

Aaron and his crew did a great job for a very reasonable price. Aaron was very responsive when asked for a bid and followed up with us to see if we had questions. He and his crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up afterward. We have received compliments on the floors and would definitely hire them again.

The process was fantastic my floors look amazing. It took one full day. The workers arrived on time. They put up plastic to keep dust away from the rest of the house and even closed the door to the bathroom and put painters tape around the opening to keep dust out of the room. The smell wasn't too bad and went away after about a day. The owner, Aaron, stopped by to make sure things were going according to plan. Aaron was very responsive and quick to answer phone calls or emails to answer all my questions. He also was very understanding of the fact that I want to have all the hardwood floors in the house refinished but that because of the fact that I actually live in the house I will have to have it done in several phases. He helped make a plan for doing the rest of the levels in the house. I'm very pleased and will absolutely have him do the rest of the house. I am so excited about these rooms and I am looking forward to doing the next level of the house.

AG's quote was $1,000 less than my next lowest quote. I thought it alarming, but I went with y gut because I really liked the owner when I met him. I could not have been happier with the decision. The floors look AMAZING and the entire house (including trim boards) were done in 2 days. These guys are the best!

This was my first experience with Angie's List. From the beginning to the completion of the project, I was extremely improved. Aaron Goodman (the owner) was professional and punctual. Being familiar with true customer service, he stressed that the job wasn't complete until I was satisfied. After providing the estimate, he included the removal and hauling away of the remaining carpeting for no additional cost. His employees were professional and did an outstanding job.

Went well from start to finish. The price and finished product were fantastic. Aaron and his crew brought life and beauty back to the warn, dull 20+ year flooring into our newly purchased house. We can't stop looking at it!

Beat everyone's price and performed very high quality work. Isn't this what we're all looking for? Arrived when expected, finished early. Aaron, the owner, is direct, professional and responsible. All of the crew were very professional and worked really hard to get out all of the old stains and imperfections.

It started out as a disaster but ended up really well. The president of the company came out, wrote up an estimate and was very flexible when I had to change the date (at least 2 times). When the job was to start, the crew came out, I opened the door to the empty house, since all furniture had to be moved out prior to the floor refinishing. On my way to work, they did not tell me that they needed extra voltage and took it upon themselves to go to the basement and plug the heavy machinery for the floor sanding directly into my breaker box. It overheated, caused heavy smoke and melted the box, from what I gathered. The crew ran out of the house leaving the doors open; I was not at home and live in a major city. This all happened while I was at work so no one was there to close the doors and/or alert me to the burning of the box. It was not until my neighbor called me at work to tell me that my house doors were wide open and that there was smoke in my basement that I knew something was wrong. I immediately went home and called the president of the business. On my way there, I called the electrician who met me there. The outcome was that the contractor stepped up, after confirming with the electrician that it was a direct result of the actions of the employees, and paid for all repairs. He also personally supervised the completion of the work, and the job was beautifully done.

Aaron and his crew were awesome. Great quality work and fair price. I will definitely be using him again in the future.

My floors haven't been touched since we moved in, 16 years ago. Aaron's crew brought my floors back to life, they did a fantastic job.

Aaron's crew refinished a small area of wood flooring in our home. He quoted a fair price and the work was completed by his polite and competent team. We are very pleased with the quality of the work.

The floor looks great! It is exactly what I wanted and reviewed with Aaron. Aaron was great, he came out to provide the free estimate and was able to give us advice and make sure we were getting exactly what we were looking for. He was patient when we were deciding to move forward or not and he was flexible with my husbands and my busy work schedule- which is a big deal to us. I absolutely recommend going with AG Construction, it was an overall pleasant experience!

Aaron was extremely responsive to provide an estimate. He arrived at our house the day after our phone call, and provided a VERY competitive estimate within a few hours. The project involved demolishing the existing tile floor and installing new hardwood. The new boards they installed matched the exiting boards perfectly (which are old and not easy to do). Aaron was extremely responsive and his communication with us was impeccable. He always answered his phone and gave us the comfort level we needed in someone who was performing this work while we were out of town. His three-man crew took care of the demo, install, sanding, staining and sealing in 3 days. My wife and I were able to fly back into town and spend our birthday weekend enjoying our new floors. Aaron and his crew gave us a great floor at a price that cant be beat. Not much more you could ask for. Highly recommend.

This did not go well for a number of reasons. The job wasn't 100% bad, but over time we always refer to it as terrible. The previous owner must of had a pet that left deep urine stains in the wood. When the contractor came over and gave us a quote, they did not state that they were unable to get those stains out. The contractor states that he did advise us the stains wouldn't come out. Classic he said / she said. We also have two different types of wood in the kitchen. We asked the contractor to do his best in matching those woods, but we understood that this may not work out. We picked a type of medium colored / redish stain for the floor. When we came home to see the job, we saw the stain color was extremely light (not the color we picked), but it did match the mismatched wood. Hence the decision by the contractor to go with a different stain choice. However, he did not ask us about it in advance. It was a surprise and we don't like the color. The urine stains almost black and stand out in extreme contrast to the light colored stain (or lack of stain). It's really bad. And the stains are just...very present. That was a surprise too. The contractor replaced the trim around the floor. The trim looks pretty cheap and not very well applied. There were tears in our new dry wall from where they took the old trim off and a couple of holes in the dry wall as well. We asked the contractor to fix these holes and HE DID. But, he also let us know that most people wouldn't go to these lengths (fixing the holes). When we complained to the contractor about the overall job, he unprofessionally started talking about issues in his personal life that irrelevant to the job. It was very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone.

Aaron and his crew did an absolutely amazing job for us. Refinishing maple is very tough compared to other types of wood, but they did it perfectly. Other contractors we got estimates from said it would turn out blotchy, but Aaron was the only one who knew they could get it right, and they did. Plus, he was cheaper than all the others, by several thousand in some cases. The job was complicated by the raised transitions between the old tile in the hallway and existing hardwood in surrounding rooms off of the hallway. The guys ripped the tile out, removed the extra plywood the tile was sitting on, and got the height of the new, unfinished maple to match perfectly. They laced in the new maple perfectly, and sanded everything so that it looks like it was that way all along. They then applied the stain, sealer, and two coats of poly, ALL BY HAND, which is no doubt the key to getting the maple to take the stain. I'll add that it took them quite a few passes with the sander to get the old finish completely off the existing maple which seemed to have a very thick factory finish, plus another few coats of something. This attention to detail also contributed to the way the maple took the stain. The guys really care about the final product, and several times I saw them re-sanding and staining spots they'd seen that they weren't happy with, without any prompting from us, and I'm picky. Anyway, it looks absolutely floorless, and we couldn't be happier. (See what I did there?) What really impressed us with Aaron, was his communication. I have never worked with a contractor that is so available. We talked, texted, and/or emailed 3 or 4 times a day throughout the entire project. He was constantly updating us, and stopping by to check how the job was going. I know I bugged him too much (sorry Aaron!), but he was always super-professional, personable, and never once failed to pick-up and put my mind at ease. Yes, there is dust (be you have to be realistic if you chose to finish your floors with any contractor), but the guys did as much as is reasonably possible to minimize it. They sealed off all the kitchen cabinets, window coverings, the staircase so dust didn't get into the bedrooms, etc, and they vacuumed constantly. They even dusted the molding and walls. Overall, do not hesitate to go with Aaron and his crew. They're the real deal, and his reviews speak for themselves. Thank you Aaron!!

;Aaron and his team were a pleasure to work with. The quality was superb at a great price. The floors look brand new and I never once had an issue. In addition to the floors, AG provided some finishing work on molding that needed repaired. They were even able to complete on time in the midst of the snow storm! I would highly recommend.

Everything went very well. They're very accessible, I got a quote and was scheduled quickly. The owner showed up onsite prior to the employees and then came back after its completion to check the work. The workers were very neat and courteous and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Aaron is the owner and POC for all estimates, work and follow up. He is diligent and kept ahead of scheduling and managing his guys to get the job completed. The homes were both listed for sale immediately after the work was completed. Both sold in less than five days and for tens of thousands more than asking price. Part of that success was due to the fact that the floors looked so good.

Aaron was excellent! From start to finish he was personable, kept in touch frequently and made sure we were involved in each step of the process. At the beginning he personally visited the home of my wife and I in order to determine the scope of the project. He thoroughly explained all of our options in an effort to educate us on the process rather than simply sell his product. Throughout the work we were able to check in regularly and make contact with Aaron, getting updates along the way. I was pleased to see on one of my visits to the site that his team had thoroughly partitioned all the doorways with plastic in an effort to avoid getting sanding dust in other rooms of the house. Come the end of the project Aaron met me at the property to review the results, discussing the process and the end product with me. My overall experience was excellent with Aaron proving himself to be a trustworthy, stand up contractor and a generally solid human being. We've already begun discussions surrounding my next home improvement project.

Aaron was exceptional to work with. I am putting my home up for sale, and have a few renovations occurring at the same time. When one of the contractors caused a delay, Aaron was very patient and accommodating in dealing with the last-minute schedule change. When the time arrived, he and his crew went to work and the results were amazing. The floors looked better than I thought they could. The stain color is uniform throughout the house -- no splotches of darkness or unusual spots. The miters on the molding they installed are tight and look sharp. The finish coats gleam. Lastly, there was no mess! I expected all of that sanding to leave sawdust all over the place, but the crew cleaned up exceptionally well after themselves. I am very happy with AG Construction's services, and recommend them highly to anyone who needs wood flooring work of any kind. In fact, they have me rethinking replacing the carpeting in the new home with new hardwood flooring, just because now I can see how beautiful they can be. If you knew me, you'd know that is high praise.
