Aaron Goodman runs his business in a professionally courteous manner and provides a quality service. He is punctual, responds in detail to questions, answers his own phone, and makes a final personal walkthrough to insure customer satisfaction. Our job was split into two parts to allow for adequate drying and shifting of furniture. The two man crew worked steadily each day and showed respect for their work and the property. While I have no plans to refinish my floors for at least another decade, if needed, I would not hesitate to call on Aaron again or to recommend him to others. Well done.

They were great. I was dealing with a lot and the owner and his team were so gracious. My father was ill and I had a lot of things going on dealing with his hospitalization. They helped move the furniture that I hadn't gotten to and did a phenomenal job on the floors. He sent me a picture while I was in the hospital visiting my dad and everything was great when I was able to get back home. The care instructions were great and he answered all of my questions, even when I was repeating myself. In the midst of a difficult time, this was one thing that went well.

The crew was very friendly and cooperative as is the owner. The floors all look new. The finish is nice because it is not overly glossy like some can be. The job went very quickly and the owner was responsive to my phone calls and concerns. The price seemed competative. There was no noticable dust after the job was finished.

This was a great experience start to finish. Aaron came out to give me an estimate and talk about the project. As soon as I agreed he put me on the schedule. The workers showed up on time and completed the job quickly. My floor came out so much better than I thought possible.

I could tell the technician when he came out to give an estimate, and we had excellent rapport. However, due to extra costs, I chose not to have to the work done. If I had decided to continue, I'd definitely have this company do it! The quote I received was very competitive.

They did a great job. The floors match and look bright and clean. There was a pre-existing stain (possibly long-term water or pet urine) on one of our floors that was discolored and had begun to buckle. Aaron said it might not be able to be sanded successfully, but they did as good a job as possible. The stain is still very visible, but the buckled boards have been smoothed out. While it was difficult to have two rooms of furniture emptied out at the same time, it meant that the house was in disarray and smelled of the fumes for a shorter time overall. We love the floors!

We were very pleased with the work that the company did. Aaron, the owner, was very professional and personable and gave an accurate and honest description of the work that would be done. He was always prompt to return messages and followed up the next day to make sure we were satisfied with the job. The 2 guys that did the refinishing were also professional and completed the job in an efficient and clean manner (there were no problems with dust at all). The floor looks great- I would highly recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate using them again.

Wow, I have worked with over 20 contractors over the past 15 years and Aaron blew me away. AG Construction and Flooring were the most professional, honest and respectful contractor I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He was on time for our first appointment, he explained the entire process, committed to have the project completed within a week and gave me a very reasonable quote. When the time came to do the work, his guys were actually "early", this was my first surprise, not what I have come to expect from contractors…. His team jumped right in without hesitation and began the demo… demo took three days - just what Aaron had told me. Each day, the guys would clean up the site and leave things as neat as possible. Over the next two days, the guys laid the new floor, cleaning up as they moved from one side of the condo to the other. They were polite, respectful and man – did these guys work hard. On the fifth and final day, I went out and bought the guys lunch - much to my surprise, they didn’t even stop for lunch because they wanted to finish the job first. Finally at 2:30, with the floor completed, all of the trash and their equipment removed, they stopped and had lunch. Anyone looking for a “Best in Class” flooring contractor, Aaron Goodman is the guy. I will recommend AG Construction and Flooring to all my friends and neighbors.

The Angies List special from AG Construction & Flooring, is "$99 for hardwood floor refinishing up to 100 square feet." I paid the $99 by credit card and when Aaron Goodman called me to discuss the special, I told him I had less than 100 square feet that would be done in patches . He told me he did not do patches, to which I replied that was fine, it could be done as one continuous area of under 100 square feet. He came to my house and did a bid for a much larger job for almost $900. He did not mention the Angies List special for which I had already paid. He also has not responded to two email queries about the Angies List special. Seems like a bait and switch.

They did a fabulous job. Not only did they sand and restore the current wood, but also replaced some of the wood that was severely damaged. You cannot tell the difference at all. Truly a wonderful job. Thank you.

The crew arrived on time and worked diligently until the project was completed. When we had questions, the owner responded promptly. The took extra effort in repairing the subfloor to level out the floor, and all the creaks are currently gone!

Amazingly! We found AG Construction on Angie's List. Aaron Goodman came to our house to evaluate wood floor refinishing just after we had pulled up 25-year old carpets throughout the house. His professionalism and expertise were evident during the free quote, and engendered complete confidence in both him and his team. His price was better than fair; they refinished the entire house in two days expertly and exquisitely, for a very good price! Aaron was also able to connect us with a painting contractor and a real estate agent, whom we each subsequently hired as well. The quality of the job performed by AG Construction, as well as the quality of his referrals, says everything! If I had more property I would hire him again and again without hesitation!

Aaron was easy to get a hold of and was very helpful in walking me through the process of refinishing the floors. He helped in identifying the best stain tone and was very flexible in setting up the service time. Work was starting on a Tuesday morning and completed the next day at noon, very quick and high quality.

Aaron was extremely responsive, had the best price of any quote we received, and started and completed the job on time with great quality. He even helped suggest the best color to transform the look and feel of the home! I would absolutely not hesitate to use Aaron and crew again for future projects.

AG did a fantastic job! Wife and I just bought a house and had AG take care of the floors..they were very honest and professional from the beginning.we absolutely love the work they did.the floors look brand new and changed the whole look of the house..Aaron was always on time and everything they said they would do got done.I had gotten an estimate from a friend(Yes a Friend) and his cost was almost double of what AG did the work for.I will have AG refurbish my front porch in the springtime for sure..I would be recommending them to anybody that needs floor work

It could not have gone better! Aaron was quick to respond and enthusiastic about my project. He explained the process to me, took measurements, and made me feel that this project was as important to him as it was to me. The day they began was busy with 3 workers prepping and sanding and helping me choose the right color to go with my renovated kitchen and the rest of the house. I had several places where deep scratches had marred the wood, but the thorough and careful sanding remedied that situation. One closet had old carpet inside, which they removed and completed beautifully. The workers took time and care and treated my house with respect, going the extra mile to touch up even the smallest of areas, like the linen closet. Overall, I love the new Early American stain, the process was easy, and Aaron and his team could not have been more responsive and thorough. Aaron followed up and checked in with he each day of the work and afterwards to make sure that I was completely satisfied and asked me if I had any concerns. The experience went really well from start to finish. Aaron, who owns the company, and his team were very professional, punctual and knowledgeable. I really appreciated Aaron's frankness when it came to what I wanted done. That's what sold me when I was weighing my options about which company to go with.
