We needed to have the original 120+ year old heartwood pine floors refinished in our townhouse, and we were under severe time constraints to get it done before a renter moved in (i.e. it’s Thursday, can you get this done on Monday?). I think Aaron responded to my email within an hour, was at the house for the estimate the next morning, gave me an excellent quote, we agreed on price, and his guys were in there working before 730a on that Monday. Aaron walked me through some of the unique needs and helped me avoid common mistakes that are often made when it comes to maintaining historic floors; he knows his stuff and was extremely knowledgeable. From initial contact and responsiveness, to competitive estimate and excellent workmanship...I just couldn’t have possibly asked for a better experience. We will definitely be using AG Construction again in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others. Thanks again Aaron!

Aaron is a true professional. We were looking to have vinyl planks installed in our basement. We got several estimates and his was by far the lowest. I was concerned that the offer was to good to be true, but I was pleasantly surprised. Aaron scheduled our job quickly, his team was very professional and made sure the job site was thoroughly cleaned at the end of each day. There was a miscommunication, but Aaron quickly fixed the issue without any cost to us. I would definitely hire AG Construction again.

Aaron was very responsive and personable. He seems to know his business well. He came on time and gave us a reasonable quote for the work. He was able to fit in with the schedule of the other contractors and started and finished the job when he said he would. The work was well done and the new stain matches the existing one well. The workers were neat and took care to seal off unaffected areas. Overall we are happy with the job. It was only completed yesterday, so it is too soon to know how well the finish will hold up.

Everything was great. Aaron and his crew did a great job. Aaron communicated with me each step of the way, from material delivery to the install. The job took several days since it was not a small job and his crew was punctual and cleaned up the best they could given the state of the flooring each day.

Aaron and his team did an excellent job refinishing our hardwood floors which were in pretty bad shape. Aaron was very responsive and returned my calls promptly, if he wasn't able to pick up right away. His team were prompt and courteous and left the place clean. I will definitely use him again when we have the upper floor refinished.

It went great. The workers were prompt and professional. There were two very minor issues which they immediately came back to fix - on a Sunday! I was very impressed.

The walkthrough was very to the point and honest. The floors were in rough condition with areas of heavy stains and damage. It had been covered completely with carpet for more than a decade. This job included a flight of steps with most steps broken in half in a building built in the 1960s. Aaron Goodman, the owner, did the walkthrough with confidence and assured me that this floor was restorable. The job wasn't easy; their were challenges with non-standard steps, low voltage power, different size parquet on different floors, wood that did not stain easily or consistently, and more challenges. But the difference in AG flooring from other contractors is that each challenge was met with a brainstorming opportunity to be creative and find a solution. And at no point were the challenges encountered made :my problem" and Aaron Goodman communicated with me every step of the way. That is what I find most impressive and different from the other contractors I've worked with. They commit to get the job done and follow through and meet expectations. My floors are better than I could have imagined and I'm proud to show them off.

Work was done in a professional manner, with a great deal of attention to detail. Aaron shows a great deal of pride in the quality of his work- in a time of mediocre work at high prices, it is very refreshing to find the opposite.

I wanted the wood floors in the entire house sanded and re-finished (1 coat of stain, 3 coats of polyurethane). 3 bedrooms, closets, living room and hallway (~800 sqft). This also included removing all of the quarter round trim in the areas to be done and replacing it afterward. We moved all the furniture to the kitchen and bathrooms before the work was done and we were able to be back in the house by the middle of the 3rd day (Work started on Monday morning, floors were good to use Wednesday afternoon). Aaron followed up once we were back in the house and made sure that we were completely happy with the work. Multiple people we talked to who have had their floors done talked about dust everywhere when they were finished, but that was not my experience. Aaron and his crew hung plastic to separate room that weren't being done like the kitchen and even things we'd covered with sheets/blankets to protect them got covered with an extra layer of plastic by the crew working on the house. When everything was done, we didn't feel like we needed to dust anything. I think Aaron's crew went above and beyond in their work for the following reasons: 1) They replaced some of my existing trim that needed work (I asked them to just leave me the quarter round and I would put it on those areas, they requested I just give them the needed trim and they'd do all of it). 2) Covering openings and things with plastic to protect from dust. 3) They repaired multiple holes in the floor the previous owner had drilled for running coax etc. (We didn't discuss this during the quote and I didn't know it was going to be done). 4) Following up to make sure once we were back in the house using the floor that everything was how we wanted it to be. If I ever need to get floors refinished in the future I will definitely be using AG Construction again.

I don't often write reviews but one this is worth writing about! Working with Aaron and his crew were great! Aaron was professional and upfront. He was very accommodating to my very specific requests when asked to get specific baseboards and even delivered himself so that I could paint. His crew was always punctual and cleaned the work site at end of day. We had an issue where our runner was damaged. It was replaced with no haggles. And the 5 inch oak floors look fabulous! We would absolutely highly recommend to others.

I would recommend AG Construction to anyone. Aaron has such an exemplary work ethic, attentive, prompt, responsive, and his crew is top notch - hardworking, reliable, highly skilled. The whole project, beginning to end, was low anxiety because Aaron was so quick to respond, clear about what to expect and true to his word. The price for the work was reasonable, and the work took exactly the time projected. I’ve never had a better, trouble-free experience with a major project. And our floors look beautiful! My husband and I are very happy customers!

The floors look fantastic! I'm very pleased with the finished rooms and would definitely hire this company again for other projects. The men doing the work were friendly, professional and on time. They were also accurate in their estimate of time to complete the project. The owner who did the pricing and inspection was very responsive to questions and was professional .in dealing with the workers and customer.

The job went exceedingly well from start to finish and was done in just over 2 weeks from my first phone call to AG. AG prepared an itemized estimate -- very competitive. The work team arrived right on time. They worked hard, were very professional, left the work areas spotless, and completed the work on time. It looks great. We are very pleased.

The whole process was flawlessly simple. Aaron met me at my rental property and measured the area that I wanted refinished then sent me a quote later that evening via email. AG Construction and Flooring provided my estimate the same day after taking measurements. They were the best of three estimates provided. They were very punctual and professional. Floor installation was perfect. Clean-up after installation was outstanding.

I am very happy with my hardwood flooring installation by AG Construction. I was hesitant early on because the estimate was much less detailed than others I had gotten and there was a heavy "sales pitch" vibe, but Aaron proved ready to work with me to meet my needs and tackle the constraints of the project. He was quick in his responses and ready to work through some small hiccups that came up with the condo association before the project began. The installation was scheduled quickly and was painless once it began. I'm thrilled with the final result.

Hired AG construction to put vinyl tiles in my basement. The price was competitive. I got few quotes. AG's was beaten by only one another company, but I went with AG because of the response time and better online reviews. Work was done as promised and I loved everything about working with Aoran and his team. The only thing I was slightly disappointed was the white floor molding used. I understood that AG included white moldings to keep the quote low; however had they told me, I would have paid few hundreds more to get matching moldings. Other than that, overall I am pleased and would recommend.

Had a great experience. Needed my floors refinished on a tight timeline. I called about getting an estimate late on a Monday afternoon and job was completed before EOB on that Thursday. They were also very well priced, coming noticeably lower than the other estimate I received. Quality of job and professionalism of the team were also top notch. Would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.
