Aaron provided good service and an excellent price for refinishing all of the hardwood floors and stairs in our home. As the estimate and the work were getting done while we were out of town, he worked hard to communicate with us and to accommodate remote payment. In the end, the work was done on time as promised and looked great! I would definitely use this company again. Thank you.

Aaron and his crew did a great job throughout and went above and beyond my expectations. They have the refinishing process down to a science and are really efficient. I was amazed in the transformation in the floors. In addition, when I accidentally scratched an area of the refinished floor by moving the piano, they did a great job of fixing the mess and getting the floor back to looking great.

Aaron was super professional and responsive. The floors look beautiful and the job got done even early. I was confident that he would get the job done and he made sure we were happy with the work.

Aaron and his team did an excellent job. This isn’t like hiring a subcontractor who may or may not show up. Aaron’s company is staffed by his employees and he stands by their work. The job was performed on time and completed quickly. Can’t get over how good it looks: my place looks like new! Price was very competitive, and quality top notch. Also, Aaron is so responsive I sometimes wonder if he ever sleeps. If you are looking to get anything done with your floors, this is the only place to go.

The floor his folks refinished was not neglected, but had not had anything done for it in at least 20 years. They brought it back to life brilliantly, within time and stated price. Beyond the rating points on this website, I would like to add that I had not seen Aaron's level of professionalism and politeness in a long long time...!

Arron and his team did great work restoring my floors. The floors needed to be totally redone due to sun fading and water damage in kitchen area. They did their work while we were on vacation and we came back amazed. The floor looks brand new and Arron personally inspected the floor for quality and perfection. Even with all the dust this creates and brand new carpet right next to the flooring, they did an awesome job cleaning up and were careful not to stain our carpet.

Excellent- the owner Aaron was punctual and informative each time we met prior to the job starting. We had a bunch of questions about the process and what would affect the estimate - all were answered to our satisfaction. No surprises and Aaron laid out the process and any ideas/options from the beginning so we knew what we should expect. Once the job started, the team was also punctual and efficient. We received the estimate the same day that Aaron initially met with us and also the job was scheduled quickly once we'd made our decision. A top-notch operation.

We are very pleased with the installed floor. In the past I would do this type of project myself in part because I am very particular about the finishing details. AG went beyond my high standards and performed a very professional installation. The install team was easy to work with, answering any questions and addressing any concerns I had. Because the kitchen is an addition to the original house there were some tricky transition areas areas at the doorways. Even though I was willing to accept a transition molding between the two areas, AG made some adjustments to the subfloor that resulted in a nice continuous floor between the kitchen and the pantry area. Great. Aaron provided the initial estimate within a day of the house visit, scheduled the material deliveries and install dates to accommodate our schedule. He arrived with the install team to ensure a good start and personally check up on the progress during the install.

From the initial visit to the final walk thru, Aron was great. He is knowledgeable about products and installation. He was flexible providing me with estimates for the different pieces of work I was considering and not at all I pushy. I have already recommended him to two neighbors. A+++ for responsiveness

Amazing guys - It's hard to find someone like Aaron who is communicative yet hands off from his crew. They obviously know him well and there is mutual trust between the owner and the teams. They were able to do my job earlier that usual, which was great but did require scheduling changes on both sides. Also loved the very straight forward approach to pricing - the estimate had the exact breakdown a customer would want to see. Incredible how many people in the industry don't bother providing this and we have gotten used to that bad standard of black box pricing. Excellent work - would hire again without hesitation.

Floors were done quickly and professionally, and it was kind of impressive to watch these guys work. There were a few hiccups in communication between what we told Aaron Goodman (the owner) and what his workers understood but these were sorted out without too much fuss. The only bad thing I have to say is that the floor does not appear to have been adequately sealed. I suspect this is more a consequence of only doing two coats of polyurethane than any action taken or not taken by AG C&F, but you should be aware, especially if you're looking to renew old or damaged floors. The floors look outstanding, are perfectly finished, and are well matched in color and texture to oak wood on first floor. We considered pre-finished wood, but it was "high grade" - i.e., uniform grain without knots. We like the rustic appearance of "low grade" wood, similar to that on the first floor. Aaron Goodman gave the best estimate among three vendors. He and his staff were friendly, responsive, on-time, and trustworthy. We plan to have his company do similar work in the basement.

Excellent work, excellent price, and excellent customer service from start to finish. AG provided the best estimate and the final price was exactly what was quoted. During the on-site inspection/estimate AG thoroughly explained the work and whatever potential issues my condo floors presented so there were no surprises. They showed up on time at all scheduled appointments and were very helpful in assisting me with stain selection. I ended up doing a mix of different stains and it turned out exactly as I had hoped. Workmen were very nice and did an excellent job. Owner is very responsive and definitely makes sure that the customer is happy from start to finish. This was one of the easiest contracting experiences I have had. Prices are very competitive and the most reasonable I found after calling a few places. High quality work. Highly recommend AG!
