The job is great. the two workers were very professional and they did a great job. Aaron answered all my questions and concerns. What a beautiful job they did. I will certainly recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you for a beautiful job.

The crew came punctually at the planned time. They left at 5 pm. They were extremely careful as there are a lot of pictures on the way to the Bedroom. They covered all the steps leading to the room with plastic. When they left everything was impeccable! ...and I am difficult! I could not be happier with the work done. (I had removed all furniture, drapes, pictures on the walls)

Aaron (AG Construction) is very easy to work with. After our first meeting, he gave us a quote that evening. The quote was in the middle of other quotes we received, but we felt more comfortable with Aaron and relied upon other reviews to make our selection. Aaron is easy to communicate with. We are very easy going - as long as we know what to expect and that those expectations are considered. Aaron was very responsive to any questions we had. The 3-man crew were efficient and very hard-working. They were neat and respectful of our home. The results are beautiful. The refinished floor and stairs look better than when they was originally installed! I would include a photo, but it looks much better when all the pieces by other contractors is complete. Maybe I can add later. Thank you.

After contacting AG the prior week and them coming out to quote and survey the job the following day, they were able to fit the work in the following monday. Work was on schedule, as planned, and the crew took the time to not only refinish the floor, but also to put up plastic on walls and openings so the rest of the house was not disturbed by the dusty work. The scope included removing and replacing the shoe molding and the floor was approximately 330sqft. Aaron was present at several key moments throughout the day, and followed up after the job to make sure we were satisfied with the work.

The first thing I have to say is that they really worked with our short schedule. We are being transferred out of town on a very short schedule and Aaron was super accommodating. His crew showed up on time and worked late to get it done. And the floors look beautiful. Would I hire them again? Without thinking twice about it.

Aaron and his crew were absolutely great to work with. My condo is on the third floor of a walk up and the apartment itself is not the easiest to work with. I was also working under a tight deadline - Aaron went out of his way to accommodate my timeline and get the floors ready in time. His crew was professional, courteous and careful. The process overall was very smooth and pleasant. We scheduled an appointment for estimate and Aaron showed up on time. Although his price was not the lowest, we chose him according to all the good reviews and the professionalism he presented. It turned out we made the right choice. Aaron walked us through every step, and kept us updated in terms of material delivery as well as installation. His team was fast, professional and hardworking. They came on time and left the place clean. The floor looks beautiful. Two weeks have past and so far so good. We would definitely hire AG Construction again in the future.

I had a maple hardwood floor that was scratched up pretty good and a few boards that had water damage and were heaving and separated. One of the best things about AG Construction is, when you call, you are talking to the owner. He always answers, in fact he was on vacation in a different country when i needed my floor done and yet the two or three times that i did call, he answered immediately. He let me know a head of time that he would not be able to match the factory stain on this maple floor, which had me nervous but the end results were great! I had a few issues with the quarter round trim in some areas, and he was more then happy to send his guys back out to make me happy. The issues were so minor though, i felt it was not necessary. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Great experience - 10/10. We hired AG Construction to refinish the hardwood flooring in our house in Northwest DC and they did an amazing job. I would recommend AG Construction for a variety of reasons. First of all, Aaron is very responsive. Within a few minutes of requesting a quote via email, Aaron called me (on a Saturday morning, no less) to discuss the project and schedule an estimate. Second, the price he quoted was far below what any other contractor could offer. He explained that the low price was due to the fact that he and his team have refinishing floors down to a science - and based on their work product, he was right. Third, we were on a strict timeline as we had just purchased the house and wanted to refinish the floors before moving in, so the only time available was Labor Day weekend. Aaron was very accommodating and agreed to do the work over the holiday weekend. His crew arrived on time first thing Saturday morning and got started right away. They worked through the holiday weekend and finished ahead of schedule! They also left the house very clean when they were finished. Lastly, the quality of work was fantastic and brought new life to our floors. We couldn't be happier. Bottom line: awesome customer service and great quality work. If you need to refinish hardwood floors, hire AG Construction.

From the initial contact to the final inspection the owner, Aaron Goodman, was professional in every aspect of the project. Mr. Goodman arrived on time, listened to what needed to be accomplished, and set realistic expectations for the project. These expectations were not met. THEY WERE FAR EXCEEDED. The technicians that arrived to perform the work definitely had experience which was apparent throughout each phase of the project. The flooring in the home refinished by AG Construction is nearly 70 years old. The technicians not only brought the flooring back to its original glory, they were also able to remove several surface stains that had been hidden by years of neglect under carpeting. I have no hesitation in recommending AG Construction to family and friends as this is the type of company that a person wants doing work in their home. I hope not to need flooring services for many years, but should the need arise I will definitely be working with AG Construction.

I am very thrilled with the way my floors turned out. They were able to match those in other rooms perfectly! The workers were prompt, polite and very experienced with the job and the lead at my site communicated very well. Pricing was very competitive. This is second time I've used AG Construction and I would definitely recommend and use again.

I hired AG Construction to sand and finish my 118-year-old hardwood floors. I was nervous given the age of the floors, but hired AG based on the great reviews, fair price, and ability to accommodate my tight schedule before move-in. During my estimates, Aaron was also the only one to notice a safety issue with very loose boards that had been covered by carpet. Aaron is definitely committed to making sure the customer is happy. When I saw a blemish not noticed before during the final walk-through, they worked to quickly replace those boards and make sure I was happy with the outcome. The guys did an amazing job - the before and after photos speak for themselves! AG Construction definitely brought my historic floors back to life!

They did a Great job Professional, efficient, and very responsive. The floors look new. They were a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend them.

Overall result was ok, but it didn't match the initial contractor's proposal at all. The work took only 2 days instead of the 4 budgeted in the estimate, making me wonder whether I have been overcharged the labour costs. Secondly, I specifically asked to fix a few squeaking strips and was told "no problem". Two days later, with the whole room already finished and polished, contractor said "sorry, wasn't able to solve that". Basically, he didn't follow my instructions and left me in a situation where I would have to disrupt the new floor to go back and replacing part of it. Contractor proved to have bad communication skills and an irritating attitude.

The 2 workmen were punctual, hard-working, and did an excellent job. They also cleaned up afterwards and replaced furniture where it was. The floor looks beautiful!

It was a pleasure working with Aaron and his crew. Aaron was very responsive and helpful in discussing our various options. They were able to remove our old parquet flooring and install new hardwood in its place. They ran into several issues with the old parquet glue being stuck to the floors, so needed to spend additional time cleaning it off, and also had to level out some uneven spots on our old floors, but they took care of all of our issues and were still done on time! I would definitely hire them again!

Aaron was a phenomenal communicator and was extremely professional with everything. He was early every time we met and always got back to me immediately. His team did a phenomenal job installing flooring in 3 bedrooms and my hallways. They worked fast and well together. I would definitely hire him again and I plan to in the future.

Outstanding job in every way! Cost effective and the end results look fantastic. AG Construction and Flooring was the result of online research, three separate estimates and a face-to-face meeting at the job site with the owner. I'm big on the personal touch and the end results proved the importance of doing your homework before selecting a contractor. The AG Construction crew proved to be prompt, professional and great to work with. I highly recommend them. There's no doubt I would go to them again.

Aaron is excellent - an honest professional of highest quality who will be my go-to for any floor issues. Our hardwood floors severely buckled recently and we couldn't figure it out. We had multiple people specializing in floors look at it, and they recommended pulling up the floors and replacing, at significant cost and none could locate the source of the water creating the buckling. We finally found Aaron, who based on his 20 plus years in the business, recommended that we get a dehumidifier bc he suspected it was a humidity issue. We followed his advice and the floors reverted to normal within a few days - it was amazing given how severe the buckling was. Based on our experience, it is clear that Aaron is heads and shoulders above other flooring specialists in understanding floors and problem shooting issues. Highly recommend starting with Aaron and using him for any flooring issue. We will not use anyone but Aaron in the future if any other issues arise with our floors.

We had such a great experince with AG Construction! We got several bids for our flooring installation and had the best interaction with Aaron, the owner. He was extremely knowledgeable in the different flooring options available and recommended a great option that met our needs for our house. The installation itself went very smoothly and the end product looks fantastic. We would definitely recommend AG Construction & Flooring to all those in the area looking for a flooring upgrade.

These guys are the best. Despite a few challenges (with the house itself, not them), they were able to deliver flooring that totally exceeded what I hoped for. Strongly recommend to anyone!
