AG Construction refinished the hardwood floors in my living and dining rooms. From the initial estimate to the employees who did the work, everyone was prompt and polite. They were very patient and helpful in choosing the stain color. Everything looks great and the price was very fair.

Aaron was very responsive and our floors look great. Pricing was clear and very affordable. Ours was a bit more than the Angie's list coupon because we used Bona water-based products. Aaron sends photos as the work is being done, which is nice. Very punctual--work was essentially completed in one day.

Aaron was tremendously responsive in providing an estimate and answering all my questions related to the installation and options for flooring material. He quickly was able to provide an itemized estimate covering the removal of existing glued down flooring and installation of engineered hardwood, quarter-round, and transition pieces. Scheduling was able to be coordinated around other contract work being done. During the 3-day removal and installion period, the crew was always on time and worked very quickly. During the very labor intensive and loud process of ripping up glued down hardwood in a concrete high rise condo building, Aaron and his crew even stopped work for an hour based upon my request so a neighbor could take a critical meeting. At the conclusion of the removal process the floors were very clean to the bare concrete and the crew was able to start the installation of the new engineered hardwood floors. The installation went quick and were very neatly done particularly around the more complex areas (e.g., edges and closets). After staining and installing the quarter round, the crew diligently cleaned the entire flooring area. Aaron did also his own inspection to ensure the floors met his standard. When finished the floors looked absolutely top notch! I will be using Aaron for future work and highly recommend him!

Aaron was great through the entire process. Very easy to reach (text or email) and updated daily on progress. Floors look amazing and I wish I did this years ago. Would highly recommend!!

Great, Aaron was able to stop by and provide a fair estimate in a timely fashion. He cautioned about the difficulty of exactly matching existing wood but didn't try and upsell us on more work than was actually needed. When it was time to do the work his team was punctual and capable. Most importantly the work was great! They exceeded expectations in matching our existing 100 year old floors. It's difficult to tell which sections were repaired and which sections were original. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

I called Aaron for an estimate and we set up a time and day to meet. He was on time and very personable. He said that they could do it and said he would send me the estimate. I received the estimate and was floored! It was very reasonable and thousands less than other quotes I had received. The workers were here on time both days and they did a fantastic job. We have even hired them to do another job in the spring!

The service was great. Soon after I met with Aaron, we scheduled a time for his crew to pull our old dingy carpet and install new floor. His crew was prompt, effective and very nice. They worked so well they completed the job an entire day ahead of schedule which my family really appreciated. I highly recommend AG Construction and Floor, great professionals.

The job went smoothly from start to finish. We went out of town for a week while the floors were being refinished. Aaron sent pictures and let us know when a few modifications to the project were required. We returned to a spotless, dust-free house and gorgeous floors. We will be hiring AG Construction for our next project in a few months.

The floors are beautiful and all workers were very professional. My initial call was returned promptly and someone was always there when they said they would be. Easy to work with and a definite pleasure compared to others I have hired.

Floors look great! Crew arrived early, set to work instantly, appeared to have a great rapport and pride in product, and finished at earliest time planned. Owner was very responsive and available, scheduling an estimate as soon as I requested one through Angie's, calling to check status before, during, and after work.

AGCF was professional and performed great work. After the floors are stripped in an old apartment, it was determined that the original finish was not workable. AGCF made a great recommendation for an alternate finish that made the floors look beautiful! Their price was almost 1/2 of the proposal of another well-established DC floor refinisher, and they took less time than anticipated. They were flexible and worked with and around other contractors.

Aaron and his team were terrific. I had three estimates done and found him to provide the greatest value in terms of responsiveness, cost and timeliness. He took the time to answer my questions and accommodated a tight deadline. The quality of the work is excellent. I’m looking forward to using his company’s services again when we refinish the main level.

I’ve been in my house over 30 years. I haven’t had anything done to the floors since we moved here. The hardwood floors had been carpeted for various periods of time over the years and the living room carpet was hiding some pretty nasty stains, specially at the entry to the house. AG Construction came in and sanded and stained all the floors and applied polyurethane to seal them (water-based at my request). They also suggested a solution for the entry way that turned out really nice. I am very happy with the work and everything looks great. I’d definitely use them again for this type of work, though hopefully I won’t have to for this part of the house.

Very satisfied with AG. Was an older home with unique floors, and they went the extra mile to get the right wood and the repairs were excellent. Also kept the house clean throughout.

We contracted AG construction to refinish the floors in our new house, including pulling up carpet, carpeting the stairs, fixing the floors under two radiators, and fixing some loose spots under the floor boards. Aaron worked with the plumbers he hired to drain, move, and replace the radiators. We had some complication due to some under-flooring/carpet issues, but Aaron communicated with us immediately to resolve the issues. Aaron was prompt, forthright, and professional throughout the project. Overall, our floors look much better and Aaron was great to work with.

This company did a fantastic job with my floors. The final product was beyond my expectations. Aaron helped me pick out the stain color and his recommendation was spot on as it turned out beautiful. He's definitely very experienced in this field, and the results speak for themselves. I've attached a picture of one of the rooms he did. A big thumbs up!

Aaron Goodman came to the home on time and was very professional. He evaluated the project and sent us an estimate. We had the work done and the look of the finished project exceeded our expectations! Floors were sanded, stained, and sealed beautifully with a dark spice brown which was a great change from our previously yellowed natural color. We love the detail and care given to minimize dust. Also we like the way the new quarter round trim was stained to match floor color and how they trimmed the corners to match the angles seamlessly! They also removed water-damaged planks and integrated new ones in a way no one can tell it was done. Super job!
