AG Construction & Flooring

The “A” team (is what I call them) performed the project in an exemplary manner. I am somewhat of a handy man myself but these guys are definitely THE PROFESSIONALS!!! Their punctuality and professionalism is what a retired Marine (being me) is what I expect and it was on point. I’m in the process of requesting services again from the A team.

AG construction was amazing from start to finish. The floors look great, communication was great, and the price was great. We have already recommended them to family and friends. We purchased a deal for $199 for up to 250 sq ft. We had a little less than 250sq ft needing refinishing. They honored the deal with no added fees, no selling of extra products or services. The only added fee was for new quarter round which was clearly stated in the deal on Angies List and thoroughly explained at initial estimate. They were super easy to work with, worked within our timeline, and the finished product is beyond what we were expecting.

We hired AG to refinish the wood floors of a recently purchased house. Aaron, the owner, is very responsive and attentive. He was flexible on scheduling an on-site estimate and there was no hard sales pitch. He's a hands-on contractor so he gives you his professional expertise and a quote. The price was fair and reasonable, he had great references, and he provided good advice so we hired him. He provided a written estimate via email and worked with us on scheduling the work. His team was on-time and got the work done quickly but did not sacrifice quality. I'll update in the future if there is a quality issues but with a 1 year warranty I doubt that'll be an issue. Would highly recommend consulting with AG about any flooring projects you are considering. It can't hurt to get his recommendations.

I contacted Aaron about a month before my home closing for an estimate on getting about 850 sq ft of hardwood floor refinished. He responded promptly and provided me a solid estimate based on the sq ft I told him. His price was very reasonable. He was able to start immediately after closing. The workers did an excellent job and finished ahead of schedule. The hardwood floors look amazing. They cleaned up well and didn't leave much of a mess. Would highly recommend!

Aaron and his employees were extremely professional. They were timely and neat. The flooring was installed in a day. We love the Coretec flooring. It looks beautiful!

Aaron and his team did a great job. They were punctual and professional and clearly had expertise about floors. They sanded a section of the floor upon arrival in order to show us what several different colors might look like. The finished product looks great!

AG Construction put in a fair estimate. Owner was knowledgeable and professional. The crew was on time and made sure to block off area from rest of the house to keep debris to a minimum. Work was completed as promised and floors look better than new. We would hire again and recommend to others.

The company refused to do a smaller project as part of a deal purchased on Angie's List so it was basically a waste of my time to continually meet with them for them to either disappear or just finally tell me that they didn't want to do it. It was just a repeated attempt at up-selling rather than just completing the small project that had been purchased as part of the deal. They just refused to honor the deal ultimately.

AG did a beautiful job refinishing our hard wood floors. They recommended against ripping out the existing hardwoods which would have been more expensive and suggested that we refinish the existing floors to get a better value for our money. They were exactly right- the floors look fantastic. Aaron Goodman was easy to work with, thoughtful about our needs, transparent on pricing, and very responsive throughout the process. They team went above and beyond to take care some last-minute requests from us that were outside of the original scope of work. The showed up on time, stayed late and even finished a day ahead of schedule (amazing!). Would absolutely use them again and have already commended them to some friends who just went under contract on a home. Rare to find a contractor so focused on excelling in customer experience and customer service.

First-rate hardwood floor installation! The entire team with great from beginning to end! Everyone arrived on time and completed work just as promised. Aaron (the owner) is very knowledgeable. I really appreciated his approach to estimating the work, informing me about their process, and listening as he answered all my questions. The young man (didn’t get his name) who delivered the flooring was on time and placed the product neatly in the room in prep for installation. The installers (Christian and Gabriel) were awesome as they expertly completed the work, kept me informed as needed along the way, and kept my home clean throughout the process (i.e., removing old carpet/padding, preparing sub-floor, etc.). I had one existing problem area on the floor that I initially discussed with Aaron and he assured me they could handle it – and they did. Awesome company – get these guys for hardwood floor installation!

Aaron was extremely professional and responsive and did an absolutely amazing jobs restoring my floors! Despite his busy schedule he squeezed me in based on my house going on sale. The floors were gorgeous and I couldn’t recommend him more!

Great work, great people, great company

Painless and the outcome was amazing! My humidifier was misaligned and leak all over my basement for a week. When I went downstairs to do laundry I found the water throughout my Berber carpet. I started looking up different flooring companies. A G Construction quoted me at a better price than Luna and with better quality flooring. I stopped looking after I met with Aaron, the owner of A G Construction. He was very personable and sincere and he was on Angie's List. His guys installing the flooring were on time, polite, professional and cleaned up everything. We did a final walk through with them and they fixed any concerns we had. The flooring came out beautifully! We will hire A G Construction with any future home projects in a heart beat! I highly recommend A G Construction! They are amazing!!!!

Aaron/AG Construction & Flooring were responsive, knowledgeable, transparent, on-time, and priced well below the two other estimates I received for the same work. Floor looks great. Will definitely use AG again.

It went great with no surprises, except for how well the floors turned out. The team came on time on day one and worked hard each day until the phase was finished. The floors were incredibly damaged, but Aaron’s team patched and secured all the boards that needed it, and even special-made some very thin boards to patch our unusual hardwood shape. The house had four types of hardwood in it through partial renovations over the years, but the team matched the transition between each type of wood and Aaron worked with us to choose a color that would look consistent over pine and oak. He was also very flexible with timing, so we were able to sleep at home throughout the week by staggering the work and doing an entire floor before the other.

Could not have gone better. Aaron Goodman and his team were professional, responsive and efficient. I had three levels that had different types of work that needed to be done: refinish, reinstall and install new. The workmanship in each case was superb so that now the floors throughout the entire house look seamless and uniform. The work team had incredible attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship that one does not often find. At one point, I found a crew member on his hands and knees hand-sanding an area that couldn't be reached with the sander. I couldn't tell the difference, but clearly he did, and he was not going to go home until it was just right. As a result, the quality of the work throughout was outstanding. Overall, it was worth every penny, and we got a premium product to be proud of.

Amazingly well! Aaron came in at the lowest of three estimates and provided a flawless refinish and repair. He and his team were super communicative and the floors look perfect. Would hire again without a doubt.

Excellent!! Highly recommend AG Construction not to be confused with AG Floors. You want AG Construction. Arron was professional and just trustworthy. I liked I was dealing with the owner not a salesman (which means for overhead and costs). Team did a great job.
