Description of Work: Aaron Goodman was refinishing our floors as well as installing some new ones. He kept sending what he called his best team. Floors were done and redone 4 times. Result is 2000 sq feet of ugly floors. Circle marks from the buffer, missed spots, imprinted footprints, gouges, scrape and stain marks. To make matters even worse, his new installation buckled up as soon as heating season started. |Mr. Goodman collected the money and will not do the full refund.

Description of Work: AG Construction sanded down and sealed my upstairs floors -- truly the nastiest flooring I've seen in a long time -- pine wood with generations of cat abuse, carpet tape, disintegrated carpet padding, what looked like paint. In one spot, the flooring had been taken up and replaced with mismatched wood. The results are amazing. The floors gleam. The color is lovely, even though they didn't get stained. I had thought about tearing up the floors And replacing them with laminate. Glad I didn't. The 2-man crew showed up on time and promptly went to work. When they finished, they cleaned up so thoroughly that you'd never know they had been there -- except that the floors looked SO much better. I will definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: Refinished wood floors in 1 room (sanded, stained, polyu). Excellent from start to finish, very professional. Arrived at stated time, were very professional, work was quality grade, and finished early. I will definitely use them for wood floor refinishing again.

Description of Work: Aaron and the 2 crew members were always punctual and professional. The job was performed on time and left practically no dust. I would recommend AG Construction and use them again.

Description of Work: The calculation of the square footage of flooring to be refinished was too high, which is deceitful. They use subcontractors, then who is responsible?

Description of Work: Steps were not included in the Big Deal offer. I was not in need of room service for my hardwood floors. Overall, everything went very well. Therefore, the grade of "A" was given for this experience. Mr. Goodman was prompt, courteous and professional.

Description of Work: The 2 gentlemen were very professional and did a superb job of laying fresh hardwood flooring in our kitchen.

Description of Work: AG Floors sanded, stained, and applied 2 topcoats of quick-drying poly. They arrived on time and took a total of three days. Total floor area was about 370 sq ft. I opted for a third coat which was an extra $200. The added protection for the floor was by far, worth it (in my mind). After the third coat, the floor had a deeper luster and a more smooth appearance. One big item I underestimated was how intense the fumes would be. If you have floors done, plan to stay in a hotel or with relatives/friends. It is easier. |The entire process was professional and pleasant. I received phone calls each time someone from the company would be out, from the initial quote to the actual work crew. The work crew worked in my home without anyone being there which was a bit stressful but turned out just fine. The sanding and stain application was completed in one day--and produced the most fumes. The next two days only took a few hours each day to apply the second and third coats. All in all an excellent job. I plan to hire AG Floors to refinish other rooms in my home. |One other thought, if you're somewhat handy, you can save the crew the effort (and you some money) by removing the baseboard (shoe molding) before they arrive and installing after they leave. This is what I did.
