Went well.

Exceptionally Well and quick...

After finding the company on Angie's List, I made an appointment for Any Assembly (AA) to move upstairs--and then put together-- five very heavy unassembled steel bookcases/console tables. On a form linked to the company's website, I detailed the work to be done (including the model numbers of the steel furniture in question) and received an estimate by e-mail a few hours later for the work I had requested. The estimate included carrying two wooden file cabinets up the stairs. Two savvy and skilled gentlemen did all of this (for the estimated sum) with dazzling efficiency and with great care not to damage walls, floors, or other furnishings. The much-assembly-required furniture was put together flawlessly. The file cabinets were hauled upstairs without needing to be emptied. The two men cleared away all the packaging and placed it neatly in our carport near our trash bins. For only a small additional fee, they also carried upstairs two "afterthought" pieces of furniture. The price for these services seemed completely reasonable for the effort and skills we received. We paid by credit card card. We highly recommend AA and will use the company again for small moves to/inside the house and for assembly or disassembly of furniture, household equipment, etc.

They did a great job. This project would have taken us forever and they had it done within 5 minutes. We have used them a couple of times and they are wonderful. I would use them again in the future.

AnyAssembly is absolutely prompt, professional, and communicates everything. He is a problem solver regarding things I needed him to do at the house and addresses everyone as ma'am or sir which is very nice. I would highly recommend him.

To begin, I filled out the Free Quote form from their website. They responded quickly with a quote for the service. I decided to hire them for the job. They were very accommodating in scheduling the service. They were late arriving for the job, but they contacted me to let me know they were running behind, so I was fine with that. Two men showed up and went right to work. They completed the job quickly and cleaned up when they were done. They did an excellent job, and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

The firm gave a prompt estimate for assembly of a hutch (cabinet) I'd purchased. it infovled wine drawers, hangers for wine glasses, glass doors. the work was performed competently and swiftly, no damage. My only discontent was that they did not arrive as scheduled, did not call to let me know, gave a new time when I called an hour after the appointment and we still a couple hours late to that new time without letting me know. But there can be unexpected delays and I was happy to have the service.

Great! Aziz was incredibly responsive, and his team showed up on time, did a great job, and was cheaper than anyone else we talked to.

My appt window was 8-10am Sat Nov 3rd; however by 10:45 no one had showed up or called. I called 2 different numbers and left messages, as no one answered either number. I also left an e-mail on their website. All messages and e-mail were the same, asking if they were still coming. I waited on a response and by 1200 noon, I gave up and was getting ready to leave. At 12:10, they called and asked if it was ok to still come, they had problems with the other job. I asked how long until they would arrive and was told 40 minutes. They arrived a little less than 40 minutes, relocated the other mattress, took all 5 boxes uptairs, assembled the bed, removed all boxes and packing. I would definetly use them again, they were prompt in the assembly, very professional, and responsed to my questions. Unsure what happened on the other job, but I should have received a call within 30 minutes of the end of my appt window. Again, I will defintely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone needing assembly of anything that needs assembling. I only gave them a "B" rating for overall experience because of no response until 2 hrs past my appt window. Otherwise, I would have given them an "A" for the service.

They arrived on time, disassembled the treadmill without any problem, moved the treadmill to the garage and reassemble it again, everything was done very efficiently and fast.

a fine condition. It took several days for the new parts to arrive. I contacted Mr. Aziz again, and they agreed to return in 2 days between the hours of 10am-1pm. They arrived within that window, carried the new package in for me, and discovered that South Shore had sent a wrong piece. They agreed to assemble everything but the missing piece, which is a decorative molding on the top front. Mr. Aziz showed me carefully what to do when that piece arrived. They were quick, efficient; never complained about having to return a second time, and carried all the torn packaging out, placing it exactly where I requested, and left. The bill was for $150.00, but I was so pleased with their professionalism, and wanted to show my appreciation for their extra efforts, so I paid them $175.00.--From this experience I learned that it is important to check on the product being ordered through the mail. I asked Mr. Aziz if this had happened to him before. He noted that the company I ordered from is not known for careful packaging. Do's and Don'ts:Do check out the ratings on the online companies from whom you are planning to order.Do use Angies List to get a highly rated company to perform the work.Do follow their ordering procedure (AnyAssembly works on a sophisticated web form system, which speeds up estimates and scheduling)Don't assume they will know where the item is to be placed, and Do clear a place for the item, with sufficient working room.Do Not assume they will be planning on carting off the cartons and left over pieces. I never asked. They agreed to move it whereever I wanted, but do not provide a hauling service. That was not a problem for me, as I have two healthy grown sons and a truck, and all the left over materials will be carried to the County Recycling Center.I will use them again - for sure.

Would have taken my husband days to assemble & with much frustration. 2 men completed the job in one & 1/2 hours. Very professional & outstanding work. Highly recommend.

We are not handy and needed help assembling furniture from Ikea. I found AnyAssembly on Angies List and requested an estimate via a form on their website. Aziz responded within a day with a reasonable estimate. I scheduled service and they arrived in the window given. Three men went right to work and assembled 6 pieces of furniture in less than 2 hours. I am very pleased with the service and price.

The vendor was prompt in giving me the estimate. We ended up going with another company.

tWe moved into a 200 year old town house in Baltimore and one desk would not fit up the stairs. I found AnyAssembly on the web and asked for a quote to disassemble a 1950s era full sized secretaries desk and move it to the 2nd floor. This desk had been fully refinished and was in excellent shape. I frankly did not think the piece could be moved up the stairs (30" wide with 3 turns to the 2nd floor) with out cutting in half. The team of 3 men were quite punctual and after 10 minutes study they removed the drawers, base and the top and two were able to lift the desk up the stairs with no wall damage or mars. They reassembled the desk to same condition in the new room and were done in 1.5 hours. I was pleasantly surprised. They also shifted two pieces with out additional charge.

Another fantastic job by Any Assembly! My daughter loves her new "big girl bed." Looking forward to using them again!

The owner was very responsive and did the job the same week. Couldn't be happier with their work and I look forward to using them again.

The company arrived on time in a company vehicle with 3 men. The elliptical exercise machine was in the basement and I wanted it moved to the first floor. The job took less than 30 minutes. All were very polite. This was a simple equipment move so there was nothing to disassemble or reassemble. This elliptical is a professional grade machine and is quite heavy and I am glad I paid someone to do the job rather than have friends/family do it. I would use these guys again for simple in house move of heavy furniture or exercise equipment. I paid them by check and they left a business card (fridge magnet type) and left.

Aziz responded very promptly to our email inquiry, and within a few hours was at our door with his father and son (a true family business!). Despite the intermittent rain, they had the whole project completed within an hour, and even identified one bolt that was missing and provided a replacement. They made sure to check the safety and stability of the unit as well, which was a very nice touch. We couldn't have been happier with their service or professionalism.

Excellent service!! Fair quote, fast delivery, and fast and accurate assembly. Delivery was cheaper and much faster than IKEA's. I contacted AnyAssembly's owner, Aziz Kay, on Thursday to inquire on his pricing and availability- my bookcase was delivered and assembled on Monday (had my schedule permitted, he could have accommodated as early as Saturday!). Aziz and his colleague arrived at our home right on time, and were done with the bookcase assembly (as well as an additional chair assembly which Aziz kindly took care of for me) in what seemed to be just minutes- it would've taken me over a week to do this assembly! Aziz and his team are A+ professionals- polite, punctual, and precise- A job very well done! I will definitely use the services of AnyAssembly again, and highly recommend them.

Our experience was excellent. We set up an appointment via email, they arrived at the furniture store on time, and showed up at our door as per schedule. It was an extremely smooth process, and they even helped me move my old sofa to our garage. On the whole, we had a great experience and would recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable delivery service.

The came as promised, were courteous, neat, and very professional. In two hours they were complete and out the door. They replied to my email quickly, gave us a quote, set up a time to arrive, came on time, went into the room to assemble the furniture, and left four hours later with perfectly assembled furniture and a check from us.
