I really wanted to like this company. They had several things in their favor. Pros: The price was excellent-a flat rate, not pay by the hour. They were responsive and attentive on the phone. They were flexible: we gave them a list of items to move when we first booked their services, but they allowed us to move as many of those things as we could ourselves up until the moving date. They would just subtract the items from our price at the end. Cons: Even though we had a very short list of items-we moved most of our things ourselves-they damaged two of them, the corner cabinet and the futon. The corner cabinet had long shards of wood missing, probably from being dragged along the ground. The futon was broken at a point where a screw enters the wood, near a pivot point. All Pro was very apologetic on the phone and very responsive initially. They took the corner cabinet back and fixed the cosmetic damage, and did a decent job. However, they also tried to fix the futon. When we found out that they were going to glue it, we asked them to just give us the money instead. We asked for $99, which I thought was very reasonable for a very nice futon that cost us considerably more than that, but that we'd had for three years. They never responded to that request and just fixed it. So now we have a futon frame that has been glued at a point that bears a lot of weight when it's raised and lowered. We want to sell the frame, since it turns out it doesn't fit in the room we intended it for, but we can't do that because we don't feel right selling a frame with a glue bond that might not hold. We've essentially lost all value in the futon. Again, very nice people, very responsive for the most part, but we didn't come out very well from our experience with them.
