+ -1 moreWhile this small family owned type business is usually a little more pricier than the big box stores, they offer quality and custom fabricated parts. They can provide local knowledge and they can deliver the building supplies. Many small area professional contractors use Miller Lumber because the are reliable.
Description of Work: GA Miller Lumber provided materials for a house renovation project that myself and my contractor were working on. Various lumber, insulation, wallboard and other materials were obtained.

+ -1 moreOne thing we missed in our install is the lighting over the new Medicine cabinets. These cabinets are surface mount and deeper than most with beautiful moldings at the top and bottom that made them even deeper. The lights we selected to install above the cabinets ended up shining all of their light on the top of the cabinet leaving the mirror in the shadow of the cabinet. We solved this issue by making an extension box to mount on the wall behind the lights bringing the light out in front of the cabinet where it belongs.
Description of Work: We consulted with Kelly Nunnally the store design consultant for design ideas on our Master-bath remodel project. Kelly was very helpful. We found a vanity and medicine cabinets we liked. Kelly ordered our selection and everything was delivered on time to the second floor of our home in good condition. The delivery men had very dirty shoes and left a trail of mud up the steps. Fortunately we were replacing the upstairs carpet otherwise we would have had to have it cleaned. I am sure Miller Lumber would have made this right but we elected not to complain to them about it.

+ -1 moreA lot of headaches and wasted time. Should have started elsewhere where my windows would already be half done by now.
Description of Work: Received an estimate for windows to be created by GA Miller in their fabrication shop. Took multiple calls to finally get an estimate (told I would get it on X date or a call back at X time but had to call back at least 3 times). Eventually I spoke to the manager and received my estimate which was a good price. Unfortunately after all these problems I was eventually told that they could not make the window after all.

+ -1 moreThey were referred to me by my father-in-law and I was very pleased with the work they did. The representative was good and he was very personable. They were very professional and the workmanship was good.
Description of Work: I used GA Miller Lumber Co Inc. a couple of weeks ago and they replaced 14 windows for me.
