Description of Work: Due to a foulup of some kind, my detailed notes which I wrote some time ago have been erased. Long story short, Dave has painted for me on several occasions and has always done a great job at a fair price. He drywall skills are top notch. He's painted inside and outside and patched holes from the installation of a speaker system.

+ 1 moreWe could not be more pleased. This is the second time that we have used this contractor. He left a catalog of paint color samples with us to look over for more than a weeks so as not rush us in making our choices. If the weather did not accommodate exterior work, they would move to work inside rather than leave. The workmanship was professional and they cleaned up after themselves before leaving each day. The ceiling was a major repair, but it is now impossible to tell that there was ever damage. What really surprised me was that they moved furniture in the bedroom so they could work and they then moved it back when they finished. They did that all by themselves!
Description of Work: The project involved painting a ceiling, walls, exterior house trim, 3 bathroom, 1 large bedroom, and doing major ceiling repair due to a leak.

+ -1 moreDavid Gatrell is a pleasure to work with. Rates are reasonable and quality is top notch with minimal mess. Careful with furniture and fixtures. Showed up when promised. Also, repaired and painted front door and entry way - which had rotted and become cracked. Used David's services in 2008 to paint several walls including family room with cathedral ceiling - similarly impressed with quality, professionalism and price. Dependable nice guy.
