+ -1 moreWe were surprised by the amount of planning that has to go into a geo thermal unit. Installation of the actual unit was quick. We wanted the unit placed in the attic instead of the first floor and we were glad we did. The unit works great. We previously had a heat pump that just could not keep the whole house cool. Have not used the heating yet. Care Services even came back to check on the unit three weeks after installation. They will also return to ensure the heating works as it should. Very professional group of people.

Description of Work: Installed complete geothermal system with both central heating and cooling and radiant heating. Got three estimates and they were the highest priced but seemd to have a better handle on what needed to be done to allow my existing propane fired heating system to be intergrated as a backup. This was a very complicated install and took about two months after initial turn on to tone for top operation. They were there every day and continued to call almost daily until the system up to what I wanted. The crew was always on time, never left a mess, and were professional in every aspect of their work. Interestingly I receved a call as a refernece from someone that had call the same three firms. The did not go with Care Services but after getting a botched job they called Care Services to 'correct' the other compamies work. Sometimes it pays to go with you gut and not just price.

+ -1 moreOverall, I would give them a B. He was quite anxious and workout the issues and get the quote prepared. It took some analysis in order to inspect the system for my house, which he did. He was very friendly and constructive. I think once the quote was provided, I found several problems with the quote. For example, he was quoting the manufacturer guarantee on the equipment that he was going to provide. I had gone on the manufacturer website, and that guarentee was better than what he was offering me. I mentioned that to him, and we never really closed it. I didn't select him because I took a different approach to the project.
Description of Work: They gave me a bid for heating and air conditioning. It was for a three ton geothermal system.
