STUMP EATERS

Description of Work: I contacted Stump eaters to grind a stump in my yard.

Description of Work: Received quote from Stump Eaters to remove 3 trees, grind out the stumps and clear branches from yard. I called and left message to confirm quote. He did not return call, just showed up to do work the next Monday morning. I let him do the work, though I told him I was not ready for him to collect branches in the yard. He took away and ground up the branches I had already collected and said he would come back for the rest. He never came back and did not return any calls throughout the summer.

Description of Work: Work to be done was to cut down an 80' tall Royal Povlownia tree and clean up and remove all ot the tree and leaves. This tree was hanging more then 30' over my house and would drop right on it! I also needed a large branch of a maple tree cut off to get to it !! This work had to be done so my roof could be replaced ! I did call 30 names on Angie"s List but never got to his because it was so far down the list .....they did come out and give me a price .I did get his name and number and info about calling from my wonderfull neighbor of 40+ years !!!!!!! Everyone that I did call on the list wanted about $1,500 to do the job and claimed that a bucket truck was needed to do the job..... could there be a little bit of price fixing between the Angie's list people at the top of the list ????? Chip did it with one dump truck, a chipper, and two helpers....told me that a bucket truck was for the guys who didn't know what they were doing and wanted the bucket truck there so they could charge more $. I cut down trees when they didn't have bucket trucks and had to know....like Chip...what I was doing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call: Chip Simpson @ 410 256 2323......Please do not expect him to answer or return your call....give him your address and full details and he will stop by your house when he is coming back from a job that he has finished in your area....this is strange but it works for him and you will be very happy with the work and the "PRICE" !!!!!!!! He always shows up within a few days of your call and will always do the work within a week of when he says he will !!!!!! He does every job for one half of the price of anyone else on this list and does top notch work...the same or better than everyone else one Angie's list......I know because I have cut down 100's of trees myself.....I'm not guessing on how the work should be done...I really know !!!!! When looking for someone to do your work from someone that is on the list....remenber Chip and the experience of the people who are doing the rating....most have none....that is why they are looking on the list, the workers on this list use this to set there prices!!!!!!!
