Very well to excellent on most everything. A few issues, but were resolved expeditiously and professionally.

We contacted several contractors to get ideas and estimates on various jobs we wanted to get done. We needed some brick repaired on our mailbox, needed to replace a window that had started to rot and were interested in remodeling our bathrooms. Dave gave us very detailed estimates on all of the projects which I appreciated. We broke up the work into three separate projects and all of them went well. There were occasional issues but Dave was always responsive and did his best to resolve anything that came up. Throughout all three projects Dave provided excellent communication and was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. We are very pleased with the results of everything they did and are now working with Dave toward a fourth project to remodel our kitchen and put in more hardwood flooring.

Precision Remodeling was very responsive to my initial contact and quickly scheduled an appointment for review of the project. A detailed estimate was also provided quickly. Project manager Jamie was prompt in response to my many emails and very helpful and open to questions, budget restraints and changes. Precision was also very reasonable in negotiating competitive service prices. Once the project started it moved quickly, and smoothly transitioned through each stage of the work: flooring, counters, electrical, plumbing, trim, and painting. Any arising issues were addressed immediately and satisfactorily. Dumpster was removed promptly upon completion, and Jamie Spencer miraculously coordinated everything. Surprisingly, everything was completed in just three weeks and it looks beautiful. Exactly what I envisioned. I am thrilled with the final results. I will gladly use Precision Remodeling again for future renovations.

Dave and his crew were great to work with very professional and responsive to request and questions. Work was excellent and completed in a timely manner. They always cleaned up after themselves. We love our"new"house. We would definitely hire again.

We contacted Precision Remodeling regarding the renovation of our Master Bath. My husband and I were struggling to come up with a design that we both could live with. We were at a stalemate. Jamie Spencer came in and truly helped us design our new bath. He was the mediator -- the level head -- the professional. After some initial brainstorming, Jamie sent us to Reico in Timonium for our cabinet selection. There we met Howard Warfield, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He listened to our ideas, reviewed our bath layout, and came up with two workable designs. After we selected the best layout for us, Howard met us again to fine-tune the details. We then met Jamie at the tile store. I cannot tell you how many times hubby and I went tile shopping and came home more confused than ever. But one hour with Jamie and our tile selection was finalized. Precision Remodeling hired the electrician, the plumber, the granite installer, and the shower door glass installer -- all of whom were extremely well qualified, professional and reasonably priced. After we signed the contract and a start date was established, the project progressed like a well-oiled machine. Jamie was the foreman and he coordinated the remodel with all the workers and trades. Communication was constant. We knew what was being done when and who was coming. At the end of each day, we got a phone call with a progress report. All that being said, our project did encounter unforeseeable delays--clearly not anyone's fault (a broken box of tile that had to be reordered; a small knick in the cabinetry that was unacceptable; a scratch in the shower door framing). These slight imperfections were brought to our attention and remedied as promptly as possible. Precision Remodeling are true craftsmen and Jamie expected top notch workmanship from all the trades -- from his tile installer to the painter to all the other subs. My husband is very knowledgeable regarding construction methods and he wanted top quality work. Jamie and he got along beautifully -- they sang the same song and wanted the same net result. At the end, we got the master bath of our dreams. I highly recommend Jamie Spencer and Precision Remodeliing. A top notch contractor who prides theselves on superior workmanship and customer satisfaction. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Precision Remodeling!

Can't say enough great things about this contractor- they are everything you want in a contractor. They are reputable , honest, trustworthy and excellent craftsmen! The team is hard working and found a way to work every day even though it rained almost every day of our project. They are conscientious and take pride in their work. Every day it was exciting to come home and see the progress that they had made. They respect your property and do an excellent job of cleaning up any debris daily. In addition, they are to be commended on their communication skills. Given the weather that they had to deal with, we received communication from them every day advising what their plan was for the day. Lastly, and most importantly, their work product is EXCELLENT! We had new decking, rails and posts replaced on our 20+ year old deck and are thrilled with the end result. They are also very honest and their quote was very reasonable. Instead of pushing us to spend more money and demolish and replace the whole deck like other contractors were, they educated us so that we ended up just with a renovation project and saved a lot of money. Can't say enough good things about Dave, Jeremy and Bill. We will definitely hire them for future projects that we have. Will post picture later.

Dave and his entire team worked seamlessly with our family during this project. Always clear and concise communications, contracting and change orders. We worked with major construction team, the inside construction team, electricians, plumbers, painters, tile setter, and design and project managers. Each was always courteous and cleaned up the site at the end of the day. Teams showed up on time as occasionally worked late to complete a phase of the project so that the next team could start in the morning. As with any renovation of an old home problems arose. For each, options were offered for remediation or repair; after discussing with Dave and team we were all in agreement on the next steps. While these changes did increase the cost of the project we did not exceed our contingency plan. During the project there was an issue with a tile that needed to replaced and the tile team kept reworking the issue to make sure that the final product met their own high standards.

The Precision team was phenomenal from start to finish for a major remodeling of my 100+ year old row home. Dave's estimate was accurate and priced better than anyone else. His crew and sub-contractors were on time every day for the length of the project, kept the expected mess to a minimum while I lived through the renovation and were extremely easy to work with. Dave was in contact on an almost daily basis with updates and solutions when the project hit the inevitable snags. The finished project is exactly what I was hoping for and looks perfect. I will definitely use Precision again for any future projects and recommend them without hesitation.

Dave was so helpful throughout the whole process. The bank funded rehab loan creates some extra steps but Dave and his team was very prompt and flexible during the process. Any questions we had he was happy to answer. I appreciated his honest approach, listening to our requests, and honoring our budget constraints. Jamie was a very relax but well in versed flooring. The carpet is wonderful and the professionalism from start to finish makes them our choice for future projects.

Dave and his team were great. Highly communicative. Was very responsive to any questions or concerns. Set a schedule and stuck to in. Came in on time and on budget. We were really happy with his work and would absolutely use him again and highly recommend him.

Project went as projected. Dave checked in regularly to keep us informed of when his people would be at the house and what they would be doing. His crew was polite and professional. Everything was done correctly and the remodel came out great!

The floors turned out BEAUTIFUL!! The entire job was completed in two days, just like Jamie said. The workers were very professional and arrived on time each day. Jamie stopped in throughout to make sure the process was going as planned. Jamie and his crew even disposed of all of the ripped up carpet and flooring. It was a stress free process and we are in love with our new floors. Jamie has checked in multiple times since our floors were completed just to make sure we are still happy and everything still looks good. We would definitely use Precision Remodeling in the future.

We contacted Dave through email to discuss remodeling an outdated kitchen, he replied immediately and met with us at our house within days. It was apparent during our first meeting that we were dealing with someone who was very professional. During this meeting Dave listened to our what our hopes were and using his experience gave us suggestions that he thought would end with a kitchen we would be very happy with. Before Dave left he took pictures, measurements, checked the electric and plumbing and gave us a rough quote to see if working on this project together was a possibility. The rough quote we received was not the lowest but we decided to proceed with him because he stood out as the most professional and knowledgeable. After meeting with different members of Dave's design team we finished with a layout we were happy with and an estimate we could commit to. During the entire project Dave would contact us almost daily to see if there were any questions or concerns, if there were he handled them immediately. The crew from Precision led by foreman Bill were great to work with, very concerned to detail and left every day with a clean work area as if it were their own home. The subs they brought in for utilities were equally as professional. We began with a small outdated kitchen, small dining room and finished with a large open eat-in kitchen. Every day we comment on how much we enjoy our new kitchen and how beautiful it is from the cabinetry to the backsplash to the flooring and counters, Dave committed to completing the job in 4 weeks but finished 4 days early and at budget which was also a plus. We would recommend Dave Rutch Precision Remodeling to anyone considering a home remodeling project.

When we first met with Dave the consult was very informative and relaxing. There was no pressure and Dave listened to what we wanted in our kitchen and how we envisioned the final product. My wife's primary request was to have an island as the focal point of the kitchen, Dave simply said tell me what you what and we'll make it happen. Once we discussed our ideas, Dave explained the complete process and scheduled a time to meet with his design team. The design phase was the most enjoyable part of the project, we picked out cabinets, flooring and counter tops and were able to see the kitchen come to life in front of us. We absolutely loved the design and his design team were able to meet all of our requests. After a few days Dave was able to provide us a final estimate and a time table for the project. The first estimate was a little over our budget however Dave was wonderful working with us to make changes in order to get the project within budget. He was extremely patient and actually provided 6 different estimates in order for the project to meet our needs. After we agreed to move forward we met with Dave again to discuss final details and the time table for the remodel. He explained the complete process, including demolition, would take 3-4 weeks. A big concern with a two and five year old was not having a kitchen sink for weeks on end, Dave assured us that we would have a working sink within 2 weeks. When the project began Dave and his crew arrived at 8am and got right to work. Dave's crew was extremely friendly and very informative during the whole process. With two small children and two dogs they very conscience with safety and cleaned up every evening when they were finished working. Through out the install Dave was fantastic about sending texts every night with progress updates and what was in store the next day. The demolition was complete within two days, that's even with a surprise of having to remove four layers of flooring under the existing floor. After the first week, flooring and electrical was complete and cabinets were installed the second week. When unpacking the cabinets Dave's crew pointed out two slight defects with the cabinets; to us it wasn't a big deal but the professionals that they are, they refused to install them and insisted the factory ship two new cabinets sections. It took a few days for the new cabinets to arrive and they were able to swap out the defective units with no delays to the project. During the third week granite was installed and the plumbing was complete; we finally had our sink back, to the day that Dave promised. By the end of the week the kitchen was almost complete, electrical was finished and lighting was installed. During the final week the painting and back splash was finished, hardware was installed on the cabinets and with that, our dream kitchen was complete. The finished product was even better than we could have envisioned, the transformation from before to after was amazing. So again, if you're looking to remodel your kitchen the search can stop here, Dave Rutch's Precision Remodeling is truly the best of the best......as you can see the finished product speaks volumes.

I was impressed with Dave and his team when he came out to look at our unfinished space. It is a very large area, and there are some complications regarding the shape as well as several poles that needed to be worked around. They were very knowledgeable and responsive when I asked questions both on-site and via e-mail later as well. The costs were detailed very thoroughly, and showed us exactly where the overall cost came from, as well as easily letting us see how that would change if we decided to do different options. They were the highest cost of the 3 contractors that we considered for the job, but their professionalism and design knowledge was great. Their concept for the space was the best design and they thought of some things that we would never have considered. I would 100% recommend them coming out to look at any renovation project you are considering. We did not end up using them partly because of the cost, but mostly because of our familiarity with one of the other contractors who had done work for us in our last home. The price difference and knowing the other contractor's work was enough for us to go with him, but I still came away from the experience impressed with Dave and his team.

Jamie walked us through the many steps of redesigning our bathroom from scratch. He kept us on schedule and the finished product looks awesome. They came up with some unique tile designs for our shower and really took pride in their work. Took their time to make sure everything looked great.

Dave promptly responded to my inquiry and we set an appointment for him to look at the space and to provide an estimate. Dave was very professional. He took measurements and made notes. He took the time to discuss what we wanted and provided suggestions, including showing examples of prior work. He informed us of how long the project would take. He provided a folder containing information about the sub-contractors he uses. That day he provided me a rough quote. He promised to email the estimate the next business day and did so. The estimate of $8,500 did not include the shower door or the fixtures. We felt the price was a bit high for just a shower. We had budgeted $7,000 for this project. My only criticism is like most contractors, he did not separate the labor cost and the materials cost. Contractors do this so that the consumer doesn't know the margins tacked on to the materials/subs labor for their profit. We informed Dave that we did not intent to go forward with the project since it was more than we wanted to spend. He suggested using a fiberglass foundation versus tile and using marble shelves rather than building shelves to cut down on the cost. We did not want to do that. We would recommend Dave's company and call him again for future projects.

After heavy winds, a piece of aluminum siding near the roof detached from one end and was hanging/swinging against the house. I called Precision and they normally do not do repairs for siding that they did not install. However, I explained I was new to the area and couldn't find anyone that would be able to fix asap. They sent someone out the next day who provided an estimate to what ended up being the fascia (not siding) that needed repaired - they did not have anyone available to do it within the next day or two but still sooner than any of the other companies I heard back from. I fortunately found a small contractor that was immediately available so I did not end up going with Precision but they were fantastic to work with, professional and went out of their way to help me.

'We are extremely happy with the remodeling job Dave and his crew did for us. We interviewed 3 companies and felt Dave was the most professional. He gave us a very detailed contract of work to be done broken down by room and detailed cost for each room. He and his men were always here on time. If something came up, they called and that was seldom. His crew and subcontractors were pleasant to work with, came up with ideas that improved the project, they worked steadily the whole time they were here, and cleaned up before they left each day. This was a big project. It took 4 months. They gutted our kitchen and family room. They installed Kraftmaid cabinetry complete with crown molding, granite counters, tile floors, new lighting, a ceiling fan, a 9 foot island and, my favorite, a walk-in pantry. It is beautiful and very functional! We have had multiple sets of family and friends to visit. They can't believe the wonderful change in the space. Dave also gutted our master bath, knocked out one wall and add another. His crew built us a beautiful shower with multiple shower heads and a bench. They put in a toilet room, gave us 2 sinks instead of one and lots of storage. We love the heated floors they installed. Jamie, who works with Dave, went with me to the tile store multiple times to choose tile for the baths and kitchen. He helped me figure out what decorative touches I wanted in the bath, gave ideas about how the tile floor could be laid, and ideas for the kitchen backsplash. It was really helpful when there are so many decisions to make in a short time. They also gutted our hall bath putting in all new fixtures and tile floor and tile walls in the tub and shower area. Our boys were amazed at their new space. The powder room downstairs was updated as well with a new toilet and pedestal sink. We had a small deck off our master bedroom that was unsafe. They replace it. It will be great to use come spring. They replace all of our inside doors with solid core doors and replace the trim with a nicer one. They got rid of the carpet on our staircase and put down oak treads to match our hardwood floors. No one would know they weren't originally there. They did a great job matching the stain. They replace our tile floor that runs through the downstairs from the front door, into the family room, the kitchen, the sunroom, laundry room, to the back door with a larger tile. There was a small glitch with the tile but Dave was the first to notice it and brought it to our attention. He took care of it to our satisfaction. There were no surprises. Any change I wanted to make Dave let me know ahead of time the cost and prepared a change order so I knew what to expect. Dave was easy to work with. He is a perfectionist and expect his people to live up to his standards and they do. Whenever I wasn't happy with how something looked or changed my mind about how I wanted something done, Dave and his people were right on it and worked until I was satisfied. You can't ask for more. This team worked everyday with the exception of 2 or 3 days for 4 months. We love our new home! We are very glad we picked Dave Rutch's Precision Remodeling Inc.. We have recommended them to our friends who are considering remodeling and will use them again when we are ready to do more work on our house..

Dave is the consummate professional; responsive, thorough, detailed, a good listener and passionate about his work. The crew, headed by Bill, the foreman, was always on time, respectful, precise, creative and good at trouble shooting. Quite the bonus--they also kept the site clean after each day they worked. I would highly recommend Precision Remofeling. We plan to hire them again for our next project.

This was the most professional contractor I have ever worked with! While they weren't the cheapest quote we got, it was evident from the way they conducted their initial assessment they could be counted on to do the job right. Mr. Rutch and his foreman explained (and clearly documented in the quote) the scope of work and materials to be used, so we knew exactly what we were getting for our money. They responded promptly by phone and email any time I had a question. The crew was courteous, prompt, and the quality of their work was excellent.

I cannot praise Precision Remodeling enough after my experience with them. The communication was top notch. They kept me informed every single step of the way. Their estimate was right in line with the best estimates I had received and they went above and beyond in their efforts. I had a deck and fence that were damaged when a neighbor's tree came down on my property. Dave and Jeremy worked with me to go over options and I settled on repairing the mild damage to the fence and replacing the entire deck with a new wood deck. The deck is quite large (30' x 15') and yet the team managed to complete the entire job start to finish in approximately 10 days. This included custom grab rails and custom post tops that look excellent (I will upload pictures at a later time). The team showed up every day and worked without any hindrance to us whatsoever. They were timely, clean and did fantastic work. The quality of their work is absolutely top notch and they had very careful attention to detail. Even little things stand out about working with this company. During the deck repair, an outdoor electrical outlet that I had attached to the previous deck stopped working. Dave had electrical workers he works with come out and repair that for me during final inspection without charge. Little niceties like that and standing by their work are what will have me going back to them time and time again. We have already received estimates from them for other future home improvement enhancements within our home and I look forward to giving them more business in the future. I highly recommend them.

Mr. Rutch was extremely polite, honest, and prompt in all my dealings with him. He showed up on time and provided a detailed estimate in an appropriate time period. He also answered questions about the proposal and followed up. We decided to go with another contractor due to a personal recommendation and a somewhat lower price, but all in all I would certainly use this company in the future. Of five contractors we contacted, one didn't return calls, one made an appointment and no-showed, and one never provided an estimate after meeting with us for over an hour. Very disappointing, but fortunately unlike many of his peers, Mr. Rutch appears to run a respected business with an eye to customer service.

I must say that the final result is absolutely exquisite. The work was completed ahead of the quoted date and all the mess from the project was completely gone when they were done. It looks so much bigger and brighter than before. We are just sorry we did not call them sooner. The entire maintenance crew were the politest work crew we have ever hired. They can be assured that we will keep call them if we ever need future repairs done and will also pass the companies name around when our family and friends are looking for a contractor . Dave was the best contractor I've ever worked with. His communication was outstanding. His crew and subs were extremely neat and professional. I felt very comfortable leaving them in my home unattended. I new he wasn't the cheapest but it was worth every penny as he backed up all his work and was on top of every nuance our project had. We started with a run down home and left with a beautifully updated dream home. Thanks Dave for the great work!
