Wintergreen Landscape

The grading was done well. The down spout extender was installed well. The seed was spread way too thin on the yard. I had to put an additional 200 pounds of seed in the yard to thicken the turf into anything close to a lawn. I am not sure if there was any fertilizer used at all. We have had a lot of rain and the yard is clearly in bad need of fertilizer. It may have washed out due to the amount of rain we have a had. I am however sceptical due to how the seed was handled. There was a pretty good layer of straw put down with some thin spots here and there. The stumps were never ground out. The bob-cat operator smashed the riser for the septic tank and the "hydroseeding" that was supposed to be used was almost non existent. To further sour the experience, the guy called my wife times and tried to bully her into not taking the cost of the septic tank riser out final payment for the job. They were unprofessional at best. I wold not use them again and I sure would not recommend them to anyone else.

What an amazing experience! After going through 4 different lawn care and quot;professionalsand quot; who never returned phone calls and didn't show up when they were scheduled, I called Wintergreen. I called late on a Thursday afternoon to get an estimate on a fall yard clean up we set an appointment for first thing Friday. Wintergreen came first thing Friday morning and quoted me $300. The gentleman presented me with a work order, and I asked when they could come. He said next week. First thing on Monday morning, they sent a worker to my house and by 8:30 am and he stayed until 4:30 pm. He cleaned out every single planting bed, picked up all of the fallen branches and tens of thousands of leaves and took them off site. He even cleaned out our back stairwell of the house. The yard is completely clean and ready for the winter. It is amazing. What a work ethic. I couldn't be happier.

It is a small private business. The gentleman comes and he does the fertilizing 4 – 5 times a year. He tells me what I need and he is very prompt when he comes. He tells me when he is coming and I don’t have to be at home. He leaves the bills on the door. Sometimes I tell him that I am going away and he is fine with it. He is just very easy to work with. He is very reliable and gives good quality products. He knows what he is talking about. My lawn looks beautiful because i follow his directions. I would continue to use him in future.
