Final Cut Tree Care

It went great. Rob was a joy to work with. He came over promptly for the estimate which was fair considering they went to N.Va to pick up the 5 skip laurels. They accommodated my scheduling needs and did a very nice job planting the Laurels. They are an excellent company, and I strongly recommend them.

Final Cut had a 30% off coupon in the Money Mailer, which is where I first got their name. Nicole, in the office, contacted me promptly and was very nice to work with. Eric, the estimator, is extremely knowledgeable and visited us quickly to look at the job. The estimate was more than reasonable compared to what I have paid in the past for tree trimming, even without the coupon deduction. The first job to trim 6 trees and remove 1 small tree ($665) went quickly and smoothly, cleanup was well done. I was so pleased that I asked Eric to look at a very difficult job of removing an old large tree behind my house that was at the edge of my deck, within feet of my sunroom and neighbors' fences and gazebo in a townhouse setting. I had been in touch with another provider several times over a couple of years about the job and got the runaround about how difficult it would be and needing a crane to go over the top of my house. Eric gave us an estimate that was below what I would have expected to pay ($2100). I was very nervous about the job given the location of the tree, but it needed to come down before it caused damage from a bad storm or wind. The Final Cut crew completed the job in 5 hours with a climber and 3 men carefully lowering every branch and large piece of trunk to my deck via a pulley system, and carrying it to the front street to the chipper and trucks. Nothing ended up in my neighbors' yards and nothing hit the surrounding deck, fencing or sunroom. It was an impressive job to witness, these guys know what they are doing! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for any type of job large or small, and will use them again.
