Description of Work: I HIGHLY recommend Lynn Pest. My Lynn is honest and fair, and has great integrity. I was selling my home, and per the Maryland sales contract, the buyer had a termite inspection through a company that was NOT Lynn Pest. The initial inspector made it seem as if my house and garage were infested with termites, as well as other pests that even my real estate agent had never heard of. Basically, he was not going to leave until he "found something". And then he quoted a fee of $1300.00 to "fix the problem" that HE had identified. My real estate agent has 30+ years of experience and felt that something just wasn't right. So, she contacted Lynn Pest for a second opinion (of note, she had never used Lynn Pest before, so there was no prior relationship that could bias the results). Mr. Lynn, himself, came out to the property within a day or two of our initial call and provided an inspection at no charge. He said that, in fact, there were NO termites, and that the other supposed pests were not ones for which any treatment is recommended. In his professional opinion, the first inspector's conclusions were wrong, and practically extortion. Then, he said that were he to treat the property as outlined by the first inspector, the cost would be $600... less than half of the original estimate. However, he felt that the property required NO treatment, and that to do so would be waste of supplies, money and time. Unfortunately, I felt that I was bound, to a certain degree, by the first estimate, and I contracted with Mr. Lynn to treat the "phantom" termites. I would rather give my money to someone who is honest and to someone trying to take advantage of me. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Lynn and Lynn Pest. I would use his company the next time I sell a house... and would also use him when I buy. I do not want to waste my money, or anyone else's. Mr. Lynn agrees.
