"Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"

They put a plywood cover southside of my property but still they have markings and the contractor said he can't remove the plywood. They damage my vegetations on the backyard and they are starting to create mud hole. They also came to my property and wash a rug to try and remove the markings on my walls. For all the technicalities they damage my sidings where the plywood against my property.."

Its the 40 years of construction experience that our residential project manager has - the wide variety of manufacturers and products available to us - the residential framing and construction experience of our installer - that allows us to provide each and every customer, the new garage door or opener that meets their want's and need's.
"My wife hired this company while I was away on business because one of our dogs was almost crushed by the old models. After returning home and using for 2 days one door malfunctioned. When calling this company they stated their policy of charging $120 per visit to return and fix the issue. With a call to upper management I was able to get them to waive this charge. Now 7 years later a had the other door fail and in inspecting their work found the drive rail had been installed with no blocking and was screwed directly into the drywall only. I call to inform them of the shoddy installation which they denied doing and they cited the same policy of $120 for a visit plus materials to fix the problem. I took pictures of the bracket installed in the drywall and the hole it caused. There was a clear outline of an old metal bracket attached to the studs from the original door that they didn’t use and discarded. I was able to fix both door by adding the necessary blocking but will never use this company again. Even though the event were years apart, 2 strikes are enough!"
