Description of Work: Carlos Mosquera and his staff are excellent!!! Very professional, punctual, neat job, every body complement on the job done in my dental office. They removed old wall paper, fixed broken dry wall, and painted the entire office, including a huge book shelf. I can't say enough... they went above and beyond my expectations!!!! Price very affortable!!!!

Description of Work: he came for an estimate and never call or send the estimate after he asked for my email address it is been over a week .I still have yet to hear from Carlos.this is bad.

Description of Work: Carlos Mosquera and Company painted the exterior of our 1890 Victorian house. This included power washing the whole house and porches, extensive repair and replacement of rotting wood, painting both wood and aluminum siding, the brick foundation, painting metal roof above porch, staining the deck and washing windows inside and out. Mosquera was professional, punctual, a creative problem solver--very "can do". We voluntarily paid him more than his estimate because the job was so well done. We would definitely use him again and recommend him highly.

Description of Work: Carlos and his team were highly professional from the initial estimate through the end of the project - which was completed exactly when promised. The only delay was one that we requested in terms of the start date, and Carlos accomodated us without hesitation. The ground floor of our house looks gorgeous, and it was not a simple project. I highly recommend Carlos and his team if you want a no-fuss high quality painting job in the near future.

Description of Work: We had Carlos Mosquera Painting do the exterior of our rowhouse in DC in four different colors. About 20 feet by 60 plus a porch. Carlos provided a price that was not the cheapest or the most expensive. I decided to go with him because he was able to speak to the different preparation required for the wood, brick, and metal surfaces on our house front. Despite an excessive amount of rain, Carlos's crew was present on the first sunny day and they painted on every day not forecast to have rain. He was able to work with our indecision on a color scheme and prepped all surfaces for a day while we figured colors out. He even repaired a porch board before I could get to it! Definitely, a professional crew who worked well. There was some scrambling on the first day for minor details such as a temporary parking pass for the crew's vehicle but they were very professional. Carlos responded to all phone msgs on the same day by 7pm.

Description of Work: Carlos Mosquera and I discussed exactly what I wanted painted. We agreed on the work to be done and the price and memorialized it in a contract. In addition to routine painting of trim and shutters, I wanted him to take the paint on the door surround down to the wood and then sand, prime and paint it. The door surround was constructed in approximately 1940 and had been painted many times over the years. This was not an easy task and could not be done quickly. To his credit, his painters stayed with the task for four full days. They conscientiously did exactly what they had agreed to do and did it with pride and professional workmanship. When they were done, the door surround looked great and worth every penny. They did this very labor-intensive work at a fair price. The painters also had to paint part of our home that is very high off the ground, because of the sloping nature of our lot. They did this difficult task without making a point of how difficult it was. It was very difficult painting. The men were all very easy to work with and very friendly and nice. They kept the contract and did a terrific job. Carlos Mosquera clearly cares about the quality of his work. He supervised his painters carefully and made sure that the work they were doing was up to his high standards. Mr. Mosquera paid attention to what I wanted done and did it expertly. I wanted a very high standard and he gave it to me. These men are first rate.

Description of Work: Painted interior space of approximately 1000 sq feet which included a kitchen, family room, living room, two stairwells, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Service included a few minor patching, and sanding.

Description of Work: I've been renovating two floors of my house, acting as the general contractor and subcontracting out some of the work. Most of these two floors were gutted. Carlos' crews drywalled and painted both floors and tiled 2 bathrooms. They did very good work, quickly and at a very competitive price. Even the walls that weren't gutted (90-year old walls covered with cement (over brick) or plaster (over studs)) look close to new. Anyone can paint; the trick is to take the time to prepare surfaces so the paint looks good and adheres for the long haul. Many people rush the prep work; Carlos' crew didn't. That makes all the difference. I'm a perfectionist, and I was very, very pleased with Carlos' attention to detail. Beyond the work that his crews did, it was Carlos himself that made my experience very positive. He checked on his crews at least once a day and thoroughly reviewed their work to ensure a high standard. He is one of the most professional contractors I've worked with. He always returned calls promptly. He delivered professional, written quotes on time, and he responded to any concerns in a professional and reasonable manner, always showing the desire to do a very good job and satisfy any concerns.
