We are completely satisfied with the work. Carlos and his crew are exceptional. All the preparation was done and the attention to detail was excellent. Carlos even did some repair work in the powder room that was not in the contract. His concern for our satisfaction was evident throughout.

Excellent. Workers showed up on time and job was finished on time. Owner was very curtious and responsive. I will defintely recommend them and will use them for future projects.

I can't say enough good things. They did a terrific job. I am sorry to give them a B on punctuality and that is only because he had to start the job two days later than planned to finish up another job, but considering the wonderful job they do, I understand that he wants to do each job right and would not rush a job. They even painted the insides of the closets and some extra things I did not ask for gratis. They never complained when I changed what I wanted done. Water/smoke damaged ceiling was properly sealed first before painting and came out great.

I live in NC, but have a rental property in Bethesda. I needed to paint several areas after a tenant moved out. I found Carlos through the list and he was a joy to work with. Responded promptly, provided an estimate electronically and finished the work on time and on budget. He was candid about the need to paint 2 additional rooms after the requested touch-ups just didn't work. His price for that work was quite fair.

His prices were good and his work was good as well. He made sure that we were satisfied even if he had to adjust what he was doing.

This was a very wonderful company to work with. Carlos was extremely gracious and prompt. He had a large crew of 8, so the work was done quickly. My husband, who is extremely particular, was impressed by the good job being done. We also have an onsite carpenter working on the exterior of the house, and he told me he thought they were really doing an excellent job scraping and sanding. There were a few missed spots that we communicated to Carlos. He immediately sent someone to fix those. Highly recommended after hiring other Grade B painters.

It went very well, and Mr. Mosquera's crew did a great job. They were all punctual, professional, and not at all disruptive. They were very careful and cleaned up beautifully every night before they quit for the day. We will definitely use them again, when needed.

Carlos arrived when he said he would and was very polite. He walked around the house with me asking specific questions about what I wanted painted, took my e-mail address, and e-mailed me his quote the next day. His quote was very competitive, but we did end up choosing another contractor. It was close, though. I would get a quote from him again for any other painting work.

Everything went very smoothly. Carlos was able to see me the day after I first contacted him for a quote (on a Friday) and the crew was able to come the following Monday to do the work. Carlos and his crew arrived promptly on Monday morning, and then the crew worked efficiently to complete all the work in a single day. The quality of the work was very good. They also cleaned everything up very nicely. I would definitely use them again.

very good. Carlos really works hard to satisfy his customers. His staff is extremely professional and cares about quality. Whenever we had a concern or found an area that we wanted additional work on, they responded immediately without additional cost or attitude.

Although I enjoy chatting with new folks I meet throughout the day sometimes you just want to get a job done no time wasted. And that is where Carlos comes in. I needed my bathrooms painted and I needed it done well and fast. Carlos surveyed the scene with detailed notes, not just the usual nod. The bathrooms didn't just need painting, there was a lot of moisture damage and peeling paint. No problem. My teenage son's bedroom door had a few holes in it (don't ask) and Carlos said it would be cheaper just to replace it. Daughter, now in art school left a dark wall mural behind. That will be sanded, spackled, primed and painted. Lickety split he was outta there and I got my e-mailed estimate a few hours later. My e-mails were responded to quickly and the job was scheduled almost immediately. I was suprised that even though it was a small job Carlos arrived the first morning with his men. They were extremely pleasant, quiet and efficient workers and the painting job is excellent. Everything went so well I wish I had done it sooner. I will definitely use this company again!

Very well. I chose this company based on the large number of favorable reports from Angies List plus the short distance between his company and my home. Carlos came out for the estimate the same day I called and was waiting for me when I arrived. He had a large book of pictures showing some of his work, and obviously took a lot of pride in what he had accomplished. He also showed me his license and insurance certificates which I made copies of. He was easy to communicate with and couldn't have been more polite. He e-mailed me a detailed estimate the next day and it was competitive. Work began about a week later, and took about a week to complete. His crew was respectful, neat, and competent. Carlos came by the job site every morning and at the end of each day. He also did extra work at no charge. I believe he just wanted the house to look great and was not concerned about nickle and diming me. I asked for some other things to be done that we had not discussed previously and he was glad to do it while his crew was there, for a reasonable up charge. This is the first time I have used Angies list, and I think I underestimated the power of this medium. Carlos told me that he gets a lot of his business from the list and understood that I would write a report upon completion of the job, and he worked very hard to please me so that my report would be favorable. It worked, good for me, and good for him. The job turned out beautifully and I would not hesitate to use his company again.

I thought that this company was very professional. He stands by his work and let us know that if at anytime we need chipped paint repair he will come out and fix it. Overall, the quality of work was good and we are satisfied with it. The finished room turned out even better than I had imagined because he made some very good suggestions.

Paint initially did not match well, but Carlos saw that and the problem was corrected. His workers were pleasant and professional.

Carlos was incredibly attentive and easy to reach from start to finish. He quickly gave us a very detailed estimate outlining every detail of the work to be done. His crew always arrived on time, were always polite and were almost silent while working! They did a beautiful job on the plaster repair, it is absolutely invisible. Their painting was just as professional. I am so pleased I am bringing them back to paint the rest of the house.

They came when they said they would and finished as expected. The only complaint we have had is our tenants did not like all the dust. I am not sure that was avoidable.

Very competitive price, good quality work. Workers missed a few spots. I called Carlos and let him know and one of his guys came back and finished up with no hassles. I will be having them back in the Spring to do some exterior work.

These guys were great. We received 4 estimates for the work, and Carlos was below all of the others, and gave us a 10% discount on the estimate because we are Angie's List members. His assessment of the job was thorough and professional. His team completed the work in three days. They were on time, quiet, courteous, very professional in appearance and approach (I work at home, and there was no problem with them being in the house). As they finished in a room, we reviewed and marked touch-ups with blue tape - they were on it before I had a chance to mention it to them. Carlos was there when the team started, checked back at the house in person twice a day, and was there to go over the finished job at the end. They were very careful about all of our specific requests. I will use this company again for all of our painting needs, and would happily recommend them to anyone.

We are extremely happy with all aspects of the job. Carlos provided a detailed estimate which was almost 30% lower than two other companies we received estimates from. The work crew always showed up on time and Carlos was always easy to get in touch with. Carlos provided helpful recommendations on the types of paint to use and displayed an in-depth knowledge of professional painting. His 20+ years of experience were clearly evident. The attention to detail on prep work was amazing and made the transition between the old and new parts of our house invisible. The painting was precise and clean... no drips, painted hinges, etc. Carlos was on-site daily and frequently inspected/corrected his crew's work. The end result is beautiful paint job. I will use Carlos again and will highly recommend him to family and friends.

Carlos came to do an estimate, and set up my job for a couple of days afterward. He confirmed the night before, he got paint that I requested on the way to the job. He came with his guys to explain the job and make sure everything was ok. Two guys completed the work, and they did an excellent job - they were professional, fast and clean. Carlos called the next day to make sure the work was complete and satisfactory. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of work and the customer care.

I set up the appointment over the phone. I had taken the day off of work and had arranged other home-related appointments on that day. When the time for the appointment came and passed, I called the company and a while later, Mr. Mosquera returned my call and apologized for missing the appointment and that he had forgotten about it. He asked if he could come by later in the day for the estimate, which he did. There was nothing remarkably notable about the estimate visit. He took several days to email me the estimate. I decided to go with another painter since I was not particularly impressed by the responsiveness or punctuality of this company.

He was very professional but his estimate was a little higher than the company I went with. He looked at the job very thoroughly. I think he would have looked out well.

He was very prompt. When he provided the estimate, he had provided some referrals. He was very qualified by being insured. When they started working on site, he worked with many people to get the work done quickly. He adhered to the estimate and also did some extras and charged very little for that work. He also worked with the other contractor that was on site to coordinate things.

Carlos's estimate was competitive and prompt. He showed up on-time with his crew the day that they started, which was only a couple of days after I hired him. He was very professional and his crew did a great job very quickly. They completed the work ahead of schedule and generally were very good about cleaning up. (They probably should have cleaned up the floor on the top level a little better}. Due to sanding of the prior paint job, a layer of dust built up on the floor. For whatever reason, they cleaned up three floors very well but didn't clean the floor on the top floor. At the end of the day, though, it was just dust. They didn't damage anything and were otherwise exceptionally good at cleaning up. Carlos and I had a miscommunication about the sheen of paint that I wanted used that was much my fault as his. Amazingly, when I brought it to his attention, he offered to repaint the two (of four) floors that his crew already had completed with the sheen that I initially requested. I ultimately did not ask him to do so but was extremely impressed that he offered. Carlos also provided me what appears to be very reasonable estimates for a variety of other jobs around the house, including exterior painting, repair of a wood privacy/security fence, repair of water rot on some shutters, and the frame around the garage door.
