Although I chose another company to do the work (price & eye for detail), I have to say, that if my pockets were a little deeper, I would definitely chosen this company. Customer service is very important to me, and I have to say that this company not only showed up on time & gave a thorough review of the work areas, they were diligent in staying in contact at me throughout my decision process. If their customer service is any indication of their final work, I can only have good things to say about them.

The guys were punctual each day they came, between 8 and 9 a.m. and they were here for 5 days (mon-fri) I stay home, so it was not a problem for me to be here while they worked, and it was excellent that they could get the work done within one work week, so it didn't run into our weekend, or spill over into the next week. They usually left between 3 and 4, leaving us time in the early evening to do our family things.

They painted all of our trim on the outside of our house and our entire screened porch with 2 coats

I was leery at first since the presentation of the estimate was not as professional as others i received, but I'm very glad we decided to use them anyway. The crew arrived promptly each morning and left the condo as clean as could be expected as they left each afternoon. It was a large job - 5 days total, and they were as pleasant the last day as the first. The results are very good -all the drywall defects are fixed and the condo now feels more like our home instead of someone else's,

Carlos was very responsive and flexible. My home is very old and needed a lot of prep work before actual painting which the crew did well. They primed, repaired and painted the entire house with two coats of paint and completely changed the appearance of our home. The crew did a great job and knew how to correct the horrible job done by the previous painting company. His crew was timely and did everything they said they would. I will use Carlos the next time I have painting needs.

This is the 3rd time I've used Carlos and my second A rating review of his company. I used him originally for an interior paint job about a year ago, another time about 6 months ago to paint a powder room which included a lot of wallpaper stripping and this time he painted my exterior trim and garage doors. Top notch work, highly recommended!

This is the second time I have used Carlos. He painted the interior of my house in 9/2012. He and his assistant, Fermin, are very responsive and forthcoming. They have always honored their estimates and performed work as scheduled. Their crew of painters are very professional. I would not hesitate to use them again for future painting projects.

I waited to the last minute before i realized my shutters need to be painted before my house went on the market. I contacted these guys and they were out the very next day. They painted 16 shutters on the front of the house some of them on the second and third level, not an easy task. I am already out of state so they set up everything through email, the painters contacted the realtor to let them know they were coming by. They were quick, the shutters look amazing, and they left no mess.

They are very friendly and they did the work pretty well.

Punctual, efficient and professional. Great job. Got the correct color match for the paint; even painted the gutter to match the roof over the bay window and didn't charge extra. Will definitely call again.

Carlos Mosquera himself came on the morning of the job, even before his men got there. He inspected everything and explained the nature of the problem and fixes in detail to me. Then he instructed his men, and gave them instructions for some additional jobs liking caulking certain visible cracks etc. He was proactive and himself identified a similar moisture patch in the bathroom ceiling and showed me how bad it was, then asked me if I wanted that done too. After thorough inspection and directions to his guys, he left. His workers, Manuel and Carlos began working and took no breaks, other than a short lunch break. Both of them finished all the work in 5 hours and were ready to leave. I was pleasantly surprised as they had under promised and over delivered, I thought the overall work would take 2 days, but was more than happy that it took much less than that. The jobs were professionally done, they also cleaned up the work area properly, and took away the trash for disposal. When I asked if I had to pay extra for that additional job [job no.3 in description], he said no charge for that or caulking. Let me clarify that this area of drywall repair was not small, it's area was quite similar to the main hallway drywall repair spot. I was highly satisfied with the job done and also with the high level of professionalism displayed by Carlos Mosquera and his men. If need be, we will most certainly hire them again!

The problem with Angie's list ratings is that the truly exceptional vendors do not stand out as much as they should from all the good vendors who nevertheless get all A ratings. Carlos Mosquera is on of these few exceptional vendors. In every way, truly exceptional work, professionalism and communication. Quality of work - I have not seen such attention to detail in decades. Surfaces were prepared flawlessly and extensively. Everything attached to walls (racks, Elfa shelving, fixtures) were removed and reinstalled (rather than painted around). Paint was applied beautifully with meticulous, seamless edges. When work was complete, apartment was left neat and clean. And this commitment to quality applies to everyone working for Carlos--he was not even in the country when the work was performed. Communication - after a couple of failed emails (too many attachments, Carlos!), communications were excellent and detailed. There were few questions on either side after work began because of the extensive reviews done by Carlos' project manager. Professionalism - from Carlos to project manager to everyone on the crew, always professional and always friendly. Price - After an initially out-of-range bid, Carlos readily worked with me and brought the price within the spread of all others. It was slightly on the high-side, but given that it included high quality Benjamin Moore paint, exceptional quality work, excellent communication, and zero hassles... great value. The next time I need painting work done, I will make only one call.

The result is seamless. Very professional. Very reasonable. I highly recommend.

Completed on time and as bid. Crew did an excellent job of wall prep, application of 2 coats of satin finish and cleaned up the area very well. Always good to have Carlos come by and personally check the job.

The work on the deck became a bigger job than originally estimated, involving more surface area and additional coats, but Carlos stood by his original cost estimate and completed the job to my satisfaction. He is a pleasure to work with and I will contract with him again as the need arises. He is a little more expensive than others, but he is worth it.

Carlos Mosquera is a PERFECTIONIST who STANDS by his work. Initially, I was apprehensive about the cost to paint such a small apartment being a cost-conscious consumer and all. But after considerable research and price comparing, I chose to proceed with this company. After the work was finished in this rental apartment unit, I was in awe of the quality and attention to detail his painters executed in completing this job. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this company in the future. In fact, I am tempted to move into the apartment myself! I hoped that the company would also paint my apartment but the costs are just out of my budget, in addition this small job was probably not something that could yield significant profits. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this company if you're looking for a FIRST CLASS job on a larger scale. You just don't find quality like this anymore, the meticulousness of these painters reminded me of, well, ME. Also, don't get me wrong the price is definitely good- especially if you love your home dearly and appreciate aesthetics! Thanks so much for giving my property a face lift.

Carlos and his team were fantastic. They were very professional, flexible with scheduling, and even spent an extra day ensuring our dining room was properly designed. They hand crafted shadow boxes in lieu of traditional wainscoting across our dining room. You would have to see it to believe it, but their concern for quality was on par with any top craftsman in the industry. I can't recommend highly enough, and I would certainly hire them again.

Excellent from beginning to end. Proposal was prompt, detailed and included copies of all business licences and insurance documents. Management was present on a daily basis and available by phone when absent. Employees were excellent and had long term jobs with the company. All problems or changes werer dealt with promptly and satifactorly. There were only minor issues that are expected in any large scale painting job. Carlos and Furman are a pleasure to deal with. One item stand out. Any changes I requested were dealt with at a reasonable cost, an unusual event from other experience with other contractors where it seem like every change is an opportunity to gouge the home owner. These are the best painter I have used in 45 years of home ownership. Overall they are tied for first with one other contractor I used.

There was a problem about starting date, but once here they did a great job

Extremely professional group. They arrived on time, reviewed the task list for each day with us before beginning work. Reviewed the previous days work to assure tasks were completed to our satisfaction. They covered all surfaces to prevent damage or paint drips on decks, side walk, drive ways, plants and shrubs. They were very careful not to damage and of our property during the performance of their tasks. The clean up at days end was thorough. We are very satisfied with the skill and performance of the crew. A job well done. We would hire them again.

Everything went great. We got an estimate from a few places and Carlos was both the least expensive and easiest to work with. He showed up on the first day to get the job started and again at the end to make sure everything was ok. Also easy to reach via email. Painters scraped and primed all the surfaces prior to painting. Carlos was very flexible with us. We changed the list of items to be painted a few times and he didn't raise the quoted price. His team was very nice and easy to work with. Overall a very competent operation and good experience. I look forward to working with them again.

I had a minor drywall repair job, which required patching, repairing, and painting my ceiling (as a result of a roof leak). The guys with this company were very prompt, professional, and did a nice job. I would definitely hire them again.
