+ -1 moreThe toilet had been crooked (the tank lid didn't even rest properly on the tank) since we bought the house four years ago, but it had become a little wobbly and we were worried about it leaking into the bathroom below. Perry removed the toilet, inspected the flange (?), and reseated it with new bolts. Now it doesn't wobble and the lid sits as it should, and there's a beautiful line of caulk where there used to be unsightly grout at the base. He also noticed that tank filling mechanism was in questionable shape and he replaced that for us. He is our plumbing hero--scrupulously honest, dependable and a pleasure to work with. Why we didn't have this repair done earlier I simply cannot explain to myself.
Description of Work: Stabilized a toilet which had become wobbly.

Description of Work: We've used the services of WP Turner (Perry) for about 8 years. Our contractor recommended him for remodeling of our kitchen and bathroom. Excellent work. (Just passed a home inspection with no problems in those areas.) Besides the usual toilet leaks and stopped-up drains, we experienced two emergencies: hot water heater leaking and sump pump back-up with minor flooding. His response was in a few minutes, he arrived as soon as possible, and he always was very willing to discuss the options for remedying the problem - taking the best route without compromising safety or function. Once decided, the work was always accomplished quickly and professionally. The work area is contained, he is careful of your property, and he cleans up after the work is done. I'd recommend him wholeheartedly to adequately take care of your plumbing needs.

+ -1 morePerry had to go through the access in the wall of the adjoining room. There was some concrete that had to be chipped away (the house was built in 1948) so that the pipes could be brought closer to the openings in the bathroom wall, so the job took well into the afternoon. We are very happy with the new faucets, which actually work the way they're supposed to. We've been well satisfied with each of the projects Perry has worked on for us. He a person of integrity and high standards, and we're delighted to have found a plumber we can really depend on.

+ -1 morePhil Lazas has an exceptional crew working with him. Perry Turner is a pleasure to work with--he arrives when expected, explains what he's doing, works seriously and finishes expeditiously. He was very flexible about addressing the additional plumbing issues in the first floor bath, bringing his expertise to bear on long-standing plumbing problems there. If you're like me, and feel that every homeowner wants to have a really good plumber on their side, then I think you'll be very pleased if you call Perry.
Description of Work: Perry was brought in by our contractor to do the plumbing in the basement bathroom we're having put in. The contractor, Phil Lazas, also asked him to address issues in the first floor bathroom that might create problems in the future (corroded overflow in the bath tub, ill-fitting bath faucets, and a leak discovered in the wall behind the vanity), causing damage our pristine new ceiling below.

+ -1 moreWe called in another company (Ken Hutton Restoration) to replace an area of water-damaged drywall in our family room ceiling. We thought the water damage was caused by faulty caulking in an upstairs shower. But when the ceiling was removed, the serviceman from Ken Hutton's company realized there was an extremely slow leak that was unrelated to the caulking issue. He recommended WP Turner. Mr. Turner came to our house that same afternoon, found the source of the problem, and replaced the bad pipe. Mr. Turner was informative, neat, and overall very professional. By the way, Ken Hutton Restoration also did a superb job. The company seems to work with a fine network of professionals.
Description of Work: Identified and fixed a very slow leak coming from a water line feeding an upstairs bathroom.
