TC Drywall LLC

The service was good. I never even met the staff. I only met Tom, the owner of the company. It's a vacant house. So, I let them go. They left the area good and clean.

My experience as far as I know went well. They came in they put it up in an extremely timely fashion. I think they underbid the job, but we are going to be fair with them and compensate a little bit. The finishers they did have to come back and do a couple of touch ups but over all, with our building experience Angie's list was probably the best thing we could have done. We were having a lot of issues with people gypping us and whatnot. It probably took two weeks to get the drywall for a rather large house and all the finishing done.

I desperately needed a drywaller when the guy who said he was going to do the work came back two weeks later and said he just couldn't do it. The drywaller referred me to Tom Laur who owns TC Drywall, LLC. I called him and told him how desperate I was to get this work done right away. Even though he was very busy, he came out the next day to look at the job. He gave me a reasonable price (less than the original guy and several others who estimated the job) and I gave him the go ahead to start. We had a slight delay - but they made up for it on the other end. The drywall was delivered and hung on a thursday. I was blown away by how fast his guys were. The guys were very polite and courteous. They just made it look easy. If it was easy, I'd do it myself. But I know better. Friday the finisher Pasquelle (he told me he'd been working for Tom for 14 years!!) and his partner showed up. He taped and mudded. He spend a good six hours really doing a good job. Monday they showed up again for three hours to tape and mud again (I guess). Their final visit was on Tuesday to do a final sanding. The job looks great!!! I'm amazed at how they overcame some of the imperfections in the room from the builder. I couldn't ask for a better job to be done. Tom came out a couple of times to check on the job. He was really easy going and professional - it was a pleasure dealing with him. I had to remind him that I needed to pay him - how cool is that? I'm now so happy the original drywalled was unable to do the job, because I suspect I got a much better job, a more pleasant experience and at a lower price.
