I found Schemm painting reasonably priced and easy to work with. Charles and team completed our project in a timely fashion, with results that were of very high quality. Would I hire this company again?........I already have. I had them power wash my deck and entire house and Yes I'll hire them again!

I am extremely happy I chose Schemm Custom Painting and Repairs. From the first phone call to the moment the crew left my home after a job well done, the service was nothing short of exceptional. I got 4 separate quotes, Charles Schemm's was not only the best, but he inspired confidence during the process. He always replied promptly and was very easy to work with. Work began on time, every time. Charles was there to start the job, supervised his crew throughout, and he was there to clean up and close out the job, as well. The paint looks great. But what's more, they took the time to fix even the minor imperfections in the drywall before painting. I had not expected that. Charles' team went above and beyond, in all respects. They took great care to protect my furniture and floors. Charles even returned after the team had completed the specified job just to make a minor repair to the outside of my home. I had mentioned it on the first day, expecting to add it to the bill, he remembered it on day four and took care of it for me. I cannot say enough about how appreciative I am for the work Charles and his team at Schemm Custom Painting and Repairs did. They painted over half of the interior of my home, quickly and expertly. The quality of the repairs was outstanding (repair plaster and repaint three rooms). Better than the original! The crew was courteous and very professional. Not sure we were ready for the dust and the inconvenience that the work created, but Charles and his team worked hard to minimize the difficulties. The quality of the materials used was exceptional. We have exterior projects that have to be put off until warmer weather. Can't wait to get these guys back to paint and improve the garage and the porches !!!

This project turned out better then I expected. Charles reviewed the need, and brought in the perfect group. The repair work was done and we ended up adding more areas to the scope. It was noticed that there was 2 areas that another contractor did not do right. These were not part of the original project but I was so pleased they noticed it that I added those. That extra attention to detail by the team made the difference. Overall, all areas now look much better and I can move forward with other projects. Definitely for the price this was a real value for me. Thank you Charles and team.

Charles and his crew went far and beyond of what was expected. They did an outstanding job and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Charles reviewed our project and gave a very reasonable price. He was very neat in his work and left the area neat and clean. He and his staff did an excellent job, he completed the job as promised and we are very please with the end result of power washing our siding, painting the trim and doing minor repairs. We would highly recommend his services and plan to have him do another project in the near future.

Charles walked us through the entire process from start to finish. We had two walls that needed a lot of repair and they were plaster so he explained how he would fix it and why. He also helped us choose colors and let us know that one of the colors we had picked would be incredibly dark considering we have a small lamp in the room. We had let him know that was a concern. The actual end result looks great and the work was completed in a week! We have decided to get more work done and Charles and his crew are coming back once they finish another project he had already scheduled. Charles always gave us options and let us choose what was best for us which we really appreciated.

Charles and his crew were very professional. We had several issues with an old metal roof that needed scaping and painting as well as basement walls that never had been painted. Charles discussed all the options and issues with me and I feel we made all the right decisions. Everything looks great. Worth every penny.

They were very personable and finished the two projects on time. They were so good we hired them for a few other projects. Definitely they are our "go to" for any other painting projects. Schemm Custom Painting was hired to paint my eldery mother's home. We asked up front for reasons behind the scope of this review if full payment could be made in advance. With that, we knew we had to hire someone that was trustworthy. Charlie stated he would deposit these funds in an escrow type account and would not touch the money until the work was done. Charlie and crew not only showed up for the initial appointment on time, they also arrived at the stated time each day they performed their work. They were extremely skillful, conscientious and professional. They communicated well through the entire process. The end result was everything and more than stated in the contract. They worked extremely well with my mother and went out of their way to make her comfortable. This company exemplifies everything one could want in a contractor from start to finish. My mother and I can't recommend them highly enough. We are extremely satisfied with the end product.

I hired Schemm to remove wallpaper that was stuck to my wall and repaint my master bath as well as my kitchen and basement ceilings. They are very professional and did a fantastic job. I would use them again!

If you have interior painting to do, hire this company. They showed up on time and worked the entire day. They went the extra mile for me and repaired drywall and other imperfections without being asked to do so and at no extra cost. They are very professional. They also painted my shutters and front door trim and did an excellent job. When they were here, I asked them if they could pressure wash my very large two story house and they did so right in the middle of the interior paint job. They were flexible with their time and just like the inside and outside painting, they went the extra mile on the pressure washing and did my deck for the same price. Their estimate was a fair estimate considering the very large interior paint job they undertook. These people are the best painters I have ever hired and I have hired painters before. Timothy Q.

I hired Schemm to repair a large number of nail pops. They did a great job - fair price, timely, professional, neat - and the nail pops disappeared. Very pleased.
