Merry Maids of Carroll County

They were puncual and dependable. Every other week they would arrive as scheduled but they did a terrible job. Not a thorough job as they promised but rushed through pretending to clean to reap profits for the franchise. I have a new lady cleaning for him now and she's dumping buckets of black dirty water from one small kitchen floor! I did not have the time to baby sit the merrymaids cleaning ladies. Our contract is up and Never again! They are not welcome at my dads home ever! What I thought would be $33 a hour for a clean home turned into $50 a hour for filth. Words cannot describe how unhappy I am with merrymaids of westminister.

One person showed up, instead of two that was promised. They charged me the full $380. for 3 1/2 hours. The manager rudely told me that they charge the same for either one person or two. Please stay away from this company.

We've never had a problem with Merry Maids. The ladies that come in to our house are professional, hard workers, and do a detailed and effective job of cleaning our house on every visit.

We have been using merry maids for about a year. Overall they do I pretty good job for the price. They are somewhat inconsistent in the quality. There seems to be quite a bit of staff turnover. Two different individuals come every bi-weekly cleaning. The office is very responsive to complaints or issues if I call. They have come back the next day to address them. They are currently making many personnel changes from what I was told so I will wait to see whether or not to look for a replacement company

I was ill the day of the last visit and was not up to having them come in to service our home. I was sent a $75.00 cancellation notice on top of a price increase from $90.00 to $110.00. I'm not sure I can afford this and was told that the cancellation fee would be forgiven. I still don't understand why my income rose %4.00 and their fee has gone from $70.00 to $110.00 over the last two years. We are still evaluating whether this is a viable expense as we are on a limited income at this time.

I called with only a week notice. The cleaning was scheduled for the following Friday morning. They called the day before to say they couldn't make the original time. A regular customer needed them first thing in the morning. I appreciated the heads up. They did a great job. No complaints from the new owners.

They came out to do an estimate. She first wanted to come do a deep clean with 2 employees cleaning my home. They did a good job with the deep clean. I used them bi-weekly for awhile but I had different circumstances come up and had to stop the service. They always did a good job cleaning my home.

Ashley does a bang up job and is very polite. She is very respectful and goes out of her way to get detail work done or anything else you request. I did have a problem with one of the other girls being disrespectful but Sarah, at the office, quickly worked it out and I haven't had a problem since. I would recommend this company to anyone in the area because they do such a great job and are trustworthy.

WHEN THEY STARTED THEY WERE GREAT BUT THROUGHOUT THE MONTHS THEY STARTED MISSING OBVIOUS ITEMS IN THE HOUSE AND WE HAD TO CALL THEM BACK OUT TO RE CLEAN. ALTHOUGH THEY WERE GOOD ABOUT IT, TOWARDS THE END THEY WERE NOT VERY PLEASANT.
