I was a little worried finding these guys online and they were from out of state...However, this company is amazing! They responded to all emails within minutes. They came exactly when they said they would, even though it was 10 degrees outside. My new mailbox is beautiful!!! Would use them 100 times over.

It went well, I didn't know they had made the replacement until I looked out and saw a new mailbox installed. Looks great, my neighbor wanted to know who did the work. Recommended them.

I contacted Mailbox Man of MD, and Mary responded within 24 hours. Today (11/2/2016) Sam arrived, and within 10-15 minutes he had removed the old mailbox/post and installed the new ones. He was very professional and courteous. The cost was $160 installed. When I looked at the other mailbox installer on Angie's list for my area I noticed that the prices were several hundred to two thousand dollars, neither of which I was willing to pay for a new mailbox. I highly recommend Mailbox Man of MD.

They showed up on the promised date and did a fast, quality job, for a reasonable price. I did not even know they were out there until I looked out and saw the new mailbox after they had left.

Sam, from Mailbox Man of MD, assembled the mailbox and installed in PERFECTLY! We couldn't be happier with our new mailbox installation. Mary was very communicative and responded to emails in a timely manner! The entire process was very professional, and the job was completed in a little over a week after the initial email!

Emailed Mailbox Man of MD on Feb 29, 2016 expressing my interest in having our mailbox and post replaced. It was falling apart after 22 years of dedicated service, including braving the ice and snow piles from Snowmageddon and Snowzilla. Seeing that the company was based in Westminster, MD, I was concerned they might not perform installations in Gainesville, VA. Fortunately, that was not a problem. Heard from the company on March 2nd, at which time I communicated our HOA guidelines for mailboxes as well as the model of mailbox and post in which I was interested. Their website is great in that it shows images of all the various models available as well as their cost. Best part of all, installation was included in the price. I picked the el cheapo model just because we didn't require anything fancy. Scheduled an installation appointment for March 9th, and received a two hour time window via email for the task that morning. The installer arrived right on time, got right to work and finished up not long afterward. He removed the old box and disposed of it so I didn't have to hassle with it. Whole thing took maybe 30 minutes at most. The new post looks great, and I couldn't be more pleased. Price was very reasonable and exactly what was quoted (plus sales tax). Only reason I gave a "B" for responsiveness is that the first reply to my initial inquiry took a couple of days (as others have noted), but everything thereafter went smoothly. I got all the answers that I needed prior to installation.

A cab driver backed over my mailbox and destroyed it the day snowzilla began. I took photos, found reviews of Mailbox Man here on Angie's List and followed the guidance of other users and emailed them from their website with a description of what happened and the photos I had taken. Soon thereafter, Mary from Mailbox Man, emailed me back and after some Q&A gave me an estimate and we scheduled a day for them to come and replace the mailbox. The date of service was somewhat delayed because the area where the mailbox had been was under 3 feet of snow. But finally we got it scheduled. They arrived as promised, despite heavy rain, and replaced the box beautifully. The replacement is bigger and better than the previous box.

It was a bit of work to schedule the installation, since as many other reviewers noted, the phone always goes straight to voicemail and it sometimes takes a few days to receive an email response. There was a lag of about one week between the first email I sent and completion of the work. Initially, I was told the installation would be scheduled for 6 days later, then they added two more days, but in the end, it was actually 7 days after my initial inquiry. Other than that, the process was very convenient. I visited Mailbox Man's website, selected the post and mailbox combination that I wanted, and they came and installed it in the same location as the old mailbox. Since it was a street side mailbox, I did not even need to be home when they did the installation. I came home and was very pleased to see the new mailbox installed at the curb and old mailbox disposed of. I received a bill by email, which made payment convenient too.

I email Mailbox Man of MD as other reviewers had suggested because it was easier to reach them than calling. Mary email me back 2 business days later as promised. We selected a bigger mailbox and post since the old one was too small for 4 people living in the house that caused our mailbox to over stuffed our mailbox and eventually leading to the wobbling of our post. We were able to get an install date the next day and we did not have to be home for the install which was great. I came home yesterday and was delighted to see the new mailbox and post by the curb. Since the new mailbox and post were a bit bigger and longer, the box would have stuck out too far from the curb so the new mailbox and post was installed back from the curb almost a foot back. The kind person who did the installation replanted my flowers in the space where the post needed to be. I thought that was so nice and considerate. My old mailbox and post were gone and the new box and post looked great. Mary was very responsive and kudos to the installer. Hopefully I will not need another mailbox again and that our mailman will be more careful with this box and post, but if I do I will definitely use Mailbox Man of MD again.

Pretty simple. I emailed the office and got the minimum price of $150.00 for the installation immediately from Mary. There was some emailing back and forth with Mary saying that she had to check with the installer (my request was a departure from what they normally do which is to manufacture the mailbox and then install that--I had purchased the mailbox elsewhere and wanted simply the installation). Once that was all worked out (took about a week or so to get a final answer), we set up an appointment. Ryan, the installer, was very punctual installed the mailbox in a very professional manner. He was very, very nice and knowledgeable (the mailbox was not the usual DIY mailbox). A very positive experience.

I contacted the Mailbox Man of MD through E-mail. I wasn't sure they serviced our area, but was told they would be in my area on Thursday, so I chose the mailbox from the website,and gave them my address. They came on Thursday as scheduled. I was not home. When I came home from work, my new mailbox was installed. It looks beautiful! Everything was cleaned up. The mailbox is sturdy, installed properly, high quality. I received an invoice in the mail and sent the check today. This has been a wonderful experience.

It went great!! I thought this was going to be a big headache to get repaired, but it was one of the easiest repairs we've ever had done. Our mailbox post finally rusted out the day after Christmas, and mailbox was broken and on the ground. We found MM of MD on Angie's list and liked that they were a local small business and specialized only in mailbox replacement and repair Their web site has pictures of the types of mailboxes they install so it was easy to pick out a replacement. We left them an email message to schedule an appointment on Wednesday night, they called us on Thursday morning to follow up and installed our new mailbox on Friday. Really, really great service!!!! Easy and super fast, they were even working the week between Christmas and New Years. They cleaned up so well you couldn't even tell they had been there. I would definitely use these guys again in a heartbeat, they were really great! Thanks Mary!

Having received a violation letter from my HOA regarding my old leaning mailbox, I called the Mailbox Man of MD in the late afternoon of 11/1/2012 and set up a work order for 11/5/2012 between 9-11am. I selected the 6000 style mailbox and post from the website. The price quoted on the website included the product, installation and taxes, so I was relieved to know that when I called there were no surprise charges. I paid by credit card over the phone but was not charged until after the work was completed. The woman on the phone was pleasant and professional. It only took a few minutes to arrange the entire transaction. On 11/5/2012, the Mailbox Man was on time and worked quitely because when I called home at 11:30 am to see if there was anybody outside working, my teenager reported the work had already been completed and he had know idea that anyone had been there (except the new mailbox as evidence). I liked the fact that I did not have to be there and did not have to take off work. They removed the old post and mailbox and installed the new one in the same spot. My yard looked untouched, that's how well they installed and put everything back together! The installation was perfect and the mailbox and post look just like the picture on the website- gorgeous! Even the property manager complimented me when he came by inspect it remove me from the violation list.

This firm was very responsive, punctual and delivered exactly what they promised.

Our mailbox and pole were a wreck. From their website I chose a new mailbox and pole. I called them and set up a time for them to come. They came the day they said they would, removed my old mailbox and installed the new one complete with our house numbers on the pole. I could not believe how easy it was to arrange this and also how reasonable their price was. I am so glad that I found this site online. I didn't even need to be home since the new mailbox was cemented in exactly the same place as the old one. Amazingly, the ground was barely disturbed. I thought my spring bulbs were toast but they weren't even affected.
