I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with the service I received, or rather, didn't receive. I called and requested a quote for some plumbing work I needed in my shower. The bathroom is being remodeled and I wanted the service to be performed as soon as possible. The staff was courteous and came to give me a quote, which I accepted. The soonest they could come was about a week later and although I needed it sooner, I understood so I agreed to wait. The construction came to a halt so we could wait for the plumbing work. They called to confirm the day prior, yet, the next day, about one hour prior to the appointment, they called to say they had a family emergency and could not come. Although I understand that family emergencies happen, this upsets me because I have the contractors lined up to continue the work that afternoon. I asked if they were sending someone else, or rescheduling to later in the day or even after-hours and their response is that I could schedule it to another date at least 10 days away! That is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! I inquired about a manager or superior stepping in to come in their place and the response was that they only supervise and would not be able to come in their place. So I'm supposed to just halt my construction for at least another 10 days because they don't have backups for their employees. This is a reflection of how badly this business is run. As a business owner, I jump in as a backup if one of my employees calls out. Leaving the client stranded after confirming the appointment is a terrible business practice. And if so, at the very least, send someone else later in the day or make every possible effort to make it right and prioritize the client's need, not push it 10 days out. That's just poor customer service. I can't review the actual plumbing work since we will not be using their services. As far as Nancy, the operator who got the brunt of my frustration, she was pleasant and professional. My beef is with the management for not handling staffing issues and appointment backups in an acceptable manner. Rescheduling at the last minute for 10 days out is ridiculous. Terribly run business.

After I described the problem on the telephone to Eric, he told me he would come to my house as soon as possible, even though it was 11pm. He arrived sooner than I expected and immediately explained what he needed to do to replace the pressure relief valve and stop the water leaking into my basement. The repair took about 20 minutes and was done perfectly. I am very pleased with Eric and First Class Mechanical Plumbing, especially their responsiveness to a late night emergency repair. I have found my long-term plumbing company!

From start to finish, this company was highly professional and honest. Had been quoted minimum 2600 for a job to remedy my loss of water pressure with a total install and Ray and the guys came over actually evaluated my pumps and monitored the pressure and found a super simple solution. Saved a ton of money and am super happy with outcome. Very excited to find another great professional on Angie's list. Do your homework and get opinions because their are still honest hard working knowledgeable people out their.

All of the work went great. The techs were super polite and professional. The installed both the water heater, and water softener quickly and efficiently. Even though they had to run a loop from the softener (in the laundry room) to the main water line (under the front stairs), they were able to do that with minimal cutouts in the drywall, so there is very little to patch. We are very pleased with the quality of the products and the service that we received.

It was a hard job with a few complications. However, the team knew what they were doing, found the problems and fixed them on the spot. In addition, they explained what they were doing along the way. We learned a few things in the process, about wells, pumps and all the parts involved. The cost was less than expected. We're grateful for their service and would not hesitate to call them again. Best of all, we have water.

All works was handled professionally and on time. The price charged was very competitive. Our work provided some unusual challenges which were handled very well. All employees were very helpful and did a quality job.

The pricing was high but competitive, the work that was done was really good. The work was a little delayed because we had to order it but in the end it worked out fine. They worked along my schedule.

On Saturday, I went down to the basement to get some items for a part we were having, and discovered that the water heater was leaking. I remembered that a friend had called First Class Mechanical for a plumbing problem and recommended them. I called and they were great. They asked a bunch of questions to figure out what I needed, and told me when the tech would be out. Within a few hours the old water heater was gone and replaced with a brand new one. The tech was courteous friendly and efficient.

They gave me a senior discount. The installer, Ray, was excellent.

I had a hard time finding someone who services this type of work. They came out right away after I contacted them. The father of the owner completed the work. He has a great amount of experience and was able to diagnose and repair the issue. It turned out very well.

Showed up ontime, very professional and had pump replaced in one hour.

He put a tester on the unit. The reading was low. Replaced the part. Waited for the unit to start after 10 minute reset. Worked fine. Took 40 minutes.

The team arrived as planned on the first day. Everything went well. They arrived early to work and worked until around 8 pm that evening. They dug up a section of our yard and our driveway and bored a hole to run a new water line. They installed new pipes and main water shut off valves. They cleaned up their mess and put everything back to as close as it was before they arrived. On the second day, I expected them to arrive at 7:30, however they didn't arrive until 9:45. A phone call would have just been nice. Other than that, great job!!!

I had a leak that was dripping through down to my basement. I found a possible source and replaced a rusted off sink tailpiece in an upstairs bathroom. Unfortunately that did not solve the problem. Running out of vacation time from work, I called First Class Mechanical and they were able to fit me in on their way back to the shop that afternoon. After looking at everything they discovered a leaking toliet tank in an adjacent bathroom was causing the issue. They tightened a bolt and were out on their way home.

I like their price and they are very professional. They are local and it is easy to schedule an appointment with them.

We are very pleased. They matched everything down to the tile. It was done on time and within budget. They did a very good job.

I was satisfied with the work that they did. We had a slight mix-up with making the appointment; there was some internal communication issues. Once that was resolved, they came out and did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

I'm very impressed with their service and willingness to make the customer happy. I was given a free estimate on the work within two days and had the work done before the end of the week. They gave me the okay on the water quality within two days. The gentleman who came out arrived early and got started on the job and it was almost finished when I arrived at the scheduled time. When he was finished he tested the system out for leaks. He left, but left the old tank in the basement. When I went to use the water later on that day I still had very little water pressure. I called and they immediately came back out to fix it for no charge, and removed the old expansion tank as well. The guy had simply forgotten to take it with him. My water pressure issue was from a clogged filter - something that they'd had nothing to do with, but that they fixed anyway - the new tank helped with my BGE bills. I was very happy with the end result and will be contacting them again in the future.
