Abar Home Improvements was supposed to put in a salt water pool with an above ground deck around it. The agreed upon pool was shown to us from Gallaghers pools brochures. What was installed was a completely different pool with a different manufacturer, purchased from amazon. I didnt know that yet, I was asking Brian to give me warranty and pool name/manufacturer. To no avail. After lots of round around and no answers from Brian, I finally found it myself digging through left overs left from pool install. I confirmed with manufacturer it's their pool and was told in writing its not for salt and warranty will be void if salt is used. That's when I stopped the work Brian was hired to do. Till this day, we have no warranty (as manufacturer will not provide it since I have no purchase of proof) and no receipt or install work. He never gave me anything inspite of saying he would. The pool was supposed to come with a kit which we never got. Nothing else was delivered for a salt water installation like he claimed we were supposed to. All I got was excuses and promises it would be delivered after the install. We had other problems with this contractor. Issues with communications, phone not working and not returning calls. Not showing up the house when he would while we are waiting etc. Not paying the subs and we had to pay the water delivered. Just very unprofessional. Even having the clean up and backwash fill done by my husband because no one was here to finish the job for almost 3 days after install. He agreed he messed up, and agreed to a refund and gave us 1/3 money back the same day. With promose of rest later but never did. We offered for him to take the pool back for many weeks now (which initially said he would). I have never worked with a more unprofessional contractor. Please save yourself the money and headache and go somewhere else.

ABAR seemed liked like the perfect one stop shop for all my needs. I called on 7/5 and their salesman, Jesse came on Tues morning 7/10. He was pleasant, seemed knowledgable and took notes. He wasnt aware of his companies free gutter offer or 2% Sr. citizen discount but looked at the website and put them in his notes. I called him back on Friday 7/13 and asked when I would get my estimate. He seemed surprised that I hadnt gotten it, but said I would have it that day. I wound up getting it close to 4:00 on Monday 7/16 from someone named Lisa. Her quote did not include the free gutters or the Sr. discount they advertise on the Angie site. I immediately replied back pointing out these omissions and have never gotten a reply. Bait & switch maybe? Standing alone, their roof replacement price was $1100.00 higher than another Angies roofer. This is why you get multiple prices.

ABAR was wonderful to work with. I wanted to have both of my sons rooms painted so i gave them a call. They were prompt and was able to get me my bedrooms painted quickly and even was able to do my bathroom remodel in my sons room in a timely manner. Both of the rooms look fantastic.

ABAR Homes did a wonderful job. They were professional, prompt and left the area spotless. I would definitely recommend them, and I plan to call them for any future home improvement jobs.

GREAT _ Jesse and Brian were wonderful to work with. We lost siding due to wind damage so we were dealing with our insurance company. We had initially started with another siding company but due to their lack of response we decided to give ABAR a try. It was the best call we could have made. Right from the start they kept us in the loop while dealing with our non-responsive insurance company. They kept on the insurance company to get the estimate correct(the whole side of our house that was damaged and not just the siding that was lost) and the job done as quick as possible! The workers doing the job were great and their work amazing! We would call ABAR again without question!

We called ABAR on a Wednesday due to a leak in our HVAC through the ceiling. They came out Thursday to evaluate and was here Friday and Saturday working to repair our dining room and living room ceiling while my husband and I were at the hospital having our baby. They rushed the job and had it done and completely cleaned up before we arrived home sunday! I won't call anyone else for any home repairs/remodels again. ABAR was professional and fast. The owner was amazing and understanding that we needed this done quickly and he made that happen!

Very good, prompt and professional work, always mindfull of keeping the work area clean (important when you have electronics in the room).
