Description of Work: Noticed a slow drip from our entrance ceiling. Above it is our master and guest bathrooms. Since there was no access panel Gary Kastner had o cut some holes in the bathroom wall to determine what was causing the leak. He quickly found the pin hole leak and soon had it repaired.

Description of Work: My kitchen sink stopped draining Thursday night. I called my regular plumbers early Friday morning. Previously, they have been very responsive to jobs that clearly need immediate attention, but this time they told me they couldn't come until Tuesday! Obviously that wouldn't do, so I selected Kastner. They made an appt for me that morning, came exactly on time, fixed the sink in short order, and were in every other way satisfactory. Not sure about the price, which seemed high to me, but I got what I needed when I needed it, so it was worth it.

Description of Work: Came out on an emergency call. He arrived within the hour, which was terrific-I was very grateful. During the recent downpours, water began pouring into our basement as a result of a "shot" seal/clamp on our sump pump. The seal was replaced and that seemed to take care of the problem. I felt the charge was extremely reasonable as I was at the mercy of whomever showed up to deal with the problem. I could have been taken advantage of, but wasn't. The charge included the service call, parts, and labor.

Response from KASTNER PLUMBING & HEATING INC
As always we appreciate our customers taking the time to give us feedback and to let us know how we are doing. Although we did replace a disposal for this customer in February 2012, we have no records of performing any work for him in October 2012, and we do not install countertops. I discussed the review with our customer and found out that he wrote the review from memory 1 1/2 years later, but he does not have any paperwork regarding the work. He "thought" it was our company since he liked what we did for him earlier in the year. I have filed a request for Angie's List to remove this review.
