Steve and Dave were very professional and efficient. Completed outside receptacles and cleaned up after themselves. Steve explained the need for two additional smoke alarms. (one on first floor and one in basement.) Also gave some advice on our circuit breaker box. Ask for an estimate on a heavy up. Steve wrote up quote and stated for everything it would be $1975. this included all work and wiring outside with box being relabeled and wired. Quote good for 30 days. May wait till spring to get the heavy up completed as it is not a safety issue.

Steve and Dave were extremely polite and courteous. The final fee was what was quoted in the estimate, though we removed the change out of one light fixture from the proposed work list. The electrical work seems excellent. When they discovered one of the light globes in the ceiling fan kits I had bought was broken, they even took it to Home Depot to exchange for me. The "B" in quality is for some difficulty they had installing the switches in my plaster walls. Plaster is very different from sheet rock and it can crumble. I don't know if the damage to the area around the switches could have been avoided, but it has required a fairly extensive repair. They told me initially that they would come at 9:00 and that they had me scheduled "first thing." They arrived and began at 10:30. A big plus was that I was really pleased to have these gentlemen come in and spend a day with my "To Do List." It's difficult to find electricians who will do these multiple small jobs and they specialize in them with considerable skill. I would use them again.

They completed the work in far less time and less cost than other electricians had given me quotes for. Their work was thorough and they were able to fix another light switch I had not originally included in my initial request.

I felt the cost was excessive. It was my fault for not asking if there was a fee for the service call. I now know to ask for a price estimate of jobs in the future. The repair took approximately 15 minutes and a new switch. The cost for the fairly simple job was excessive.

They were prompt and professional making the entire experience an enjoyable one. We will absolutely use them for all our future electrical needs.

Steve at S&S did a great job with everything. The job was professionally completed and he did some extra work at no additional charge. He easily worked around my schedule. I would say I would use him again, but I already have. He installed (on a separate job) outdoor lighting. I have two more jobs I have already discussed with him that I will have him do. After several years of searching, I think I finally found an electrical contractor I can trust to do a great job at a decent price. I will go to Steve for all future electrical work. If you are the type to shop around for the best price, he may be a bit more than some. But his pricing seems to be fair and the work is superior to that of others I have tried. He is worth not going with the lowest bidder - you get what you pay for.

They were a bit later than their window. This wouldn't normally be a huge problem but the window was already 5 hours and they should have updated a bit earlier that they were going to be later than the window. They arrived and did a good job of fixing the the issues that I called for. The bill did not itemize the travel fee, the hourly rate nor the materials cost. For what was an hour of work, it was a small bit higher than what I would expect because I don't know the exact breakdown of cost.

Both Steve and Dave were very professional and finished the job ahead of estimated time given. First they inspected my breaker box to see if the circuit breaker or the complete panel should be replaced. Back in 2007 I had water to come thru the panel and the previous company only replaced the circuits that did not work after they dried the panel out (glad they are not in business anymore). After showing and discussing what their findings I agreed with them that the panel should be replaced. They validated the house was properly grounded before any other steps were taken. They provided instructions and made sure I understood how to cut the main power off, as well as what steps to take when the circuit trip off and provide a one labor warranty. Overall I had a very pleasant experience with them and yes I now call them my electricians.

Steve from S & S Electric responded to my call, came out to give me an estimate and scheduled the work--all in a timely fashion. Before calling S & S, I had a different company do emergency repairs the night of a storm when the leak was observed, but I found that company to be lacking and way overpriced. After the emergency, I checked Angie's list for a different electrician and found S and S. Their estimate was significantly less for the same work. They arrived on time, told me exactly what would happen, showed me their work as they went along and finished ahead of schedule. Each step was explained to me. I will call them again if I need other electrical work done in my home.

Steve was punctual to both the estimate appointment and to do the work. I liked his imagination in accessing power so that it minimized damage to existing walls. He also was willing to work with me on scheduling to avoid missing time from work. Steve and Dave were extremely polite and walked me through what they were going to do and then asked when they were going to deviate. I was thoroughly pleased with the entire process and the results of their work. And they were $75 less then the next estimate.

The electricians called before coming and let us know their ETA. They were professional, efficient, and personable. When they ran into problems, they let us know and gave us options. They were great!They gave us prices up front and stuck to them even though they had to do extra work!

I had a punch-list of about 5 items that needed to be completed for a final inspection. I called S&S and was able to schedule an appointment within 2 days. Although they arrived a little later than my window of time - they were polite, professional and did an excellent job. Upon fixing everything, Steve and Dave went over what they fixed and showed me the finished product. Even went above and beyond by noticing on the way out that the outdoor hardwired light didn't work and fixed it at no cost (a wire inside was lose). I will use them again and highly recommend them.

On Friday afternnoon I contacted Steve (from his web site ad) to request his services connecting a hot tub. I had run all of the conduit, cable, and wires and just wanted a pro to make the connections at the panel, the tub, and the disconnect box. By Monday afternoon he was at my house, waiting patiently, as my wife arrived about 30 mins late. He made all the connections in less than an hour and charged me only $150. He was true professional throughout - rare on such a low-dollar job. When I mentioned that we might be upgrading our electrical service in the future he was thorough enough to leave me a nice estimate for that work, as well. I'd definitely recommend Steve to friends, and will call him again in the future.
