Steve replaced 3 double tapped breakers in the panel box, and Dave PULLED OUT ALL THE STOPS to find a wire IN THE CEILING that was not hooked in to the junction box, causing the three outlets hooked to it not to work. Yes, he had to cut holes in the ceiling to find the wire, but I scheduled the electrical issue to be addressed before having the drywall repaired and painted. This is my first time using AL, and I am very pleased with S&S. They also honored the Angie's List discount, which is reflected in the price posted. Thank you gentlemen for EXCELLENT WORK!!

Steve and Dave installed a whole house 20kw Generac generator. The work included pouring a concrete pad for the generator, digging a trench for the wiring to the house, arranging for the fuel hookup, and installing a transfer switch so that the generator will automatically turn on when the power is out. We are very satisfied with the quality of their work and with the quality of the products installed. They have performed other electrical work for us, such as installing additional light fixtures and adding new electrical wiring to the second floor rooms. They have high work standards. Regardless of whether the job is big or small, it is completed perfectly. We will hire them for additional projects we need done.

The electrical repairman cleaned socket and put in four new bulbs.

I went pretty good. Actually they were a day early. Some other jobs fell through and they gave me a call and said that they could come out yesterday. It all worked out pretty well.

Everything was perfect- from the appointment, to the job completion. They were on time, assembled the fan for me, and installed it exactly as I asked.

I used Angie's list to select this company on Thursday. I got an also immediate response to my email message. I was called by Dave on Friday to describe the work I needed done and to set up an appointment for Monday. Dave and Steve arrived within the time given performed all the electrical work that we asked. The work was done professionally in less than an hour. Both electricians were able to describe the work and show us how to use everything we asked them to fix. My husband and I were very pleased with the work done and they honored our Angie's list coupon. We will use this company again and recommend them as well.

I initially contacted this provider on or about 7/16/14 to replace all light fixtures (which of course we were to purchase in advance), to replace all outlets, and to ensure that all switches were operating properly. The gentleman with whom I spoke was very courteous and professional. Since my son would be the person who would be meeting the contractor as well as paying for the work I needed to coordinate with his schedule. He informed me on Thursday, July 17th that he had a schedule conflict at the time that I'd scheduled with S & S and requested that I contact them to push it back an hour or so. No problem, right? Yes, well, I called from Thursday, 7/17 thru early afternoon today, 7/21 and never got an answer o return call. Finally, I thought to myself-why am I stressing about this contractor when I can simply go back to Angie's list. I located another provider whose office is located just a couple of miles away from our home which is being prepared as a rental property. I was able then to schedule the appointment for the time that my son had requested without a hitch. I then sent S & S a message via Angie's list cancelling the appointment. And guess what? In less than 5 mins. I received a call from Steve who said that he'd been away all weekend and was just going through his messages. While I can certainly understand the need to take a break or vacation, I cannot understand or empathize with a business which is so careless as to leave its customers in the lurch with nobody minding the store. As I explained to Steve, this is a major concern to me. While they may be a wonderful company with which to work and worthy of the accolades which it has received via Angie's list, I am unable to offer any words of praise based upon my experience. I am simply writing this review because I am a consumer who relies heavily upon the reviews of others and so I felt that I would have been remiss if I failed to post a review of my experience with this company.

They were really polite and efficient. They showed up on time, got the work done, and were helpful in terms of their estimates for future work.

Extremely professional/outstanding service. Answered phone. Scheduled promptly (called on a Thurs and came for estimate on Monday). Provided verbal explanation and e-mailed detailed well-written estimate Monday evening. Honored Angie's List coupon for discount. I had another company come for an estimate and that company kept re-scheduling so I finally cancelled on them. I understood from other professionals that what was described to me by S&S was accurate. Scheduled work promptly and then they met with the MD inspector as part of their service so that we would know the work was ok. Kept me informed when inspection date needed to change. Provided detailed final invoice marked paid that we could show to our home buyer to remove the contingency regarding the electrical issue. Also confirmed, free of charge, that once electrical issue was solved, an appliance that had suddenly stopped working worked again--the issue had been related to the old breaker panel and not the appliance. Would definitely recommend them again.

I believe the inspection and work were both satisfactory. The outdoor outlet is working fine. There were no complaints. They were professional and they were here a little early for the appointment.

I cannot say enough about this company (and Steve & Dave!). My appointment was scheduled for 11:00 am; they showed up at 11:02 am! I pointed out all the light switches/plugs (about 20 each) that needed to be replaced. Then, as usual, I was uncertain on where to install the pot lights between the kitchen/living room. They took exact measurements and gave me two (2) options. I was blown away with their professionalism, patience, and willingness to meet my unfortunately exacting demands. They never showed one ounce of frustration with my perfectionism, but moved professionally to meet my unrealistic desires. They went above and beyond to help me reach my level of perfection. Not only did they do all that I've mentioned above, they were diligent in ensuring they cleaned every area in which they provided work. They gave me great advice on a couple of issues and ... what can I say? I can promise you that if you use S&S Electric LLC you will NOT BE SORRY!! I wish I could post a hundred reviews for this company. After experiencing so many disappoints with various companies, this one gives me faith that there are companies (this one for sure) that will give you the services you expect for the money you pay. The service turned out fine, it was good service. They were pretty efficient, and they did a check of all my other plugs and stuff, so that was good.

Steve and Dave came in the window frame time they gave me, I showed them the problems that I knew about. All my electrical outlets outside of the house and my lights, motion and regular lights were not working. Also one of my switches in my electrical panels was tripped and I did not know what it went to. I also had some wires hanging on the side of my that I did not know what they belong to or why they were just hanging. I am a new homeowner, a female so I am still learning everything about my house. I have come up against contractors trying to rip me off or trying to sell me things that I really dont need. It is the same oid drama when people only see a female sometimes they think they can get over, so I do alot of praying when I have people come to fix things in my house. I can say that I am very pleased with S&S Electrics. First they were very friendly and easy to talk to, they were very professional and they explained everything to me where I can understand it. They showed me the things that needed to be fixed so I can see with my own eyes that they truly need to be fixed, for instance one of my outside light was not working because a piece was burnt out, he took the piece out and showed me so I could clearly see that it was burnt and then he explain how it could have gotten that way and then he went to his truck and got another part and he explain the part to me and solved that problem. one of my day to dust lights in the front was not working and they checked it out and took the bulb out and showed me that I just needed a new bulb, they did not have that particular bulb on the truck because it was not common but they did tell me where I could get a new one. They did not try to tell me that I need a whole new light system when only the bulb needed to be changed. they did make a suggestion since that was an outdated system if I could not find the bulb. They put a peice in my outside outlets so water would not get into them and fixed all the outdoor elcectrical problems and now all my outlets are working outside which was very important to me because I have a gazebo with a light and fan and that is the hangout spot in the summer. The problem of the wires hanging was a situation where Pepco was suppose to connect these wires because I had a heavy up done when I first moved into the house and things were not followed up by the electric company that did the heavy up. They did some research and told me what to tell Pepco so they could come out and finished the work that was started. This was major because I had no idea that work was not finished. I call Pepco while Steve was still working in my house and he told me the technical language to say to them and now I am starting the process to get that resolved something my contractor at the time should have followed thru on. All and all I am very pleased with the workmanship and professionalism from this company and I would definately recommend them to all my friends. I will be calling them back to do some other things I need done. Thank you Steve and Dave

Sockets were installed correctly and on-budget. The guys were punctual and worked quickly. Would use the provider again in the future.

The price was outstanding, and the crew was very professional indeed. While one installed the outlet, his partner gave my home a thorough electrical inspection, and recommended some upgrades without a high pressure sales pitch. I appreciated this, and will most likely have the upgrades performed by S and S.

He was efficient and did good quality work. We requested a estimate of the cost of repairing some ceiling lights and hope that he will give of this estimate soon.

Steve and his assistant showed up on time and were professional, courteous and cared about every detail. The price was fair for the services performed. All around a good company to do business with. I do plan on using them for all our future electrical needs.

They installed an outlet on the outside of my basement. They were able to work around some hurdles, while being professional, quick and courteous. They were also able to answer my questions without trying to sell me other services/products.

Workers arrived a little later than expected,but apologized and explained why they were held up. Workers did a quality job with the installation, even did a little extra work that wasn't expected. The workers then did a quick home electrical inspection, alerting me of a few potential problems. I was very pleased with the way they handled the job and would definitely use them again.

The gentlemen showed up on time, calling first to let me know they were in route. Upon arrival they identified themselves and were very professional and efficient. My request for the positioning was not easy but they made it look easy and completed the job quickly. I purchased a Big Deal to have S&S install an outdoor electrical outlet on the front of our house. They called promptly after my purchase, and we set up a date to have the work done when I was home. Steven and his partner arrived at the agreed upon time, after calling about half on hour beforehand to say they were on the way. (Much appreciated.) They were polite, and got right to work after asking me exactly where I wanted the outlet. I appreciated their professionalism, and when the outlet work was completed Steven accompanied me on a walk-through of the house to make sure the electrical panel had no problems, and the switch plates and outlet covers were all in place. Great job, and I would not hesitate to call S&S for future work.
