ROBLES CONSTRUCTION

I would never use him. We had an appointment at 3 p.m. on Saturday. I waited until 3:20 p.m. and finally called him. He answered and said he was 20 minutes away; never gave a reason or an excuse. He just showed up like, no problem, that he was an hour late, basically. He proceeded to take the measurements and I have him the information of what I wanted. I did this because I had someone out just before him looking at the same project. Mr. Robles left and called on Monday with an estimate and he was about $1300 higher than this other company that I had called beforehand. So, price wise he was way out of whack.

We contacted Robles Construction on 2/21/2011 to set up an interview for a bid on deck construction. Mr. Robles came out to the house on Saturday the 26th. He was very friendly and seemed eager to bid our project. When he left he assured us that we would have an email containing his bid by the following week. We did not hear anything from him during the first week of March. He returned one phone call stating that he would send his bid by the following Tuesday. It has now been nearly a month and we still have no written bid. We have tried to contact Mr. Robles again numerous times without success. We have left voice mails with our phone numbers and email information and have never heard from him again. I am very disappointed in his lack of courtesy and professionalism.

Excellent service and workmanship. Mr. Robles took my call promptly, and arranged to come out to my home for the estimate within a couple of days. He arrived on time, actually a little early. He explained the process and the way the deck would be constructed, the materials, estimated time(3 days, it was completed in 2!)and expense. Within a week work began, Jose and Omar were the workers on site with Mr. Robles checking in. They did a terrific job, polite, on time, efficient and obviously skilled. Clean up was great. At the time of Mr. Robles final walk through, he gave me careful instructions on care for the deck and suggestions for further enhancements. His work has a one year guarantee, but I doubt I'll need to use it. I would highly recommend. I did not get his name from Angie's, but from a friend who also had great deck work done. I also thought the price was quite reasonable.
