Replace fabric awning over back porch with new aluminum awning with downspouts and gutter. Also, front door small awning to protect people from the rain when they arrive. Eddie and his crew are fantastic. He did the small awning tribe by himself and brought a son and his friend to help him with the large awning over our deck. The design and color not only matches our house but adds to it’s Architectural interest. Alverez awnings did a fantastic job and I couldn’t recommend them any higher if I own the company myself. Six stars out of five.

Eddie provided an estimate for both the awning and installation, and thought it would be ready in about 3 weeks. He actually had it ready in just 2 weeks. He was absolutely meticulous in installing it properly, and the materials are higher quality than a smaller awning we bought long ago from Home Depot. He was also very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. In short, he did a great job, and we highly recommend him.

I first contacted Mr. Estevez from an ad/coupon that I received in the mail. He came out to give me an estimate on replacing my worn out screen enclosure. Mr. Estevez was quite professional, courteous, patient and confident. I felt, right away, that I could trust him to do the work that I was looking for. We discussed the work and cost. He made very good suggestions as to how I should probably paint areas that I was not able to get to once the old screening is taken down. Areas such as the backside of the wrought iron railing and the wood where the old framing was. Once I agreed to let him do the work, he suggested that he go ahead and remove the old framing and screens and that way I can have the painting done. He advised me how long it would take before the install. When he contacted me four weeks later to set an install date, I was not quite ready because I still had not completed the painting due to the weather. He graciously stated that I could call him when I was ready. When I was ready, he came two days later. The installation took approximately a day and a half. He and his son showed up on time and worked the first day together, diligently without taking a lunch. The next day his son worked alone from 9am until about 230pm. When the work was completed, I was completely satisfied. I forgot to present Mr. Estevez with the coupon when he wrote up the estimate. I contacted him the next day and explained how I had forgot to give it to him. He told me to hold on to it and he will adjust my total cost when the job was completed. I was amazed because it has been my experience that if you don't present the coupon at the time of the estimate, too bad, you don't get the discount. I would recommend Mr. Estevez to my friends, relatives and neighbors and look forward to working with him again when I decide to have my awning put up on the back of my house.

I decided to declined the services of this company due to what I felt was an excessively high quote. I contemplated whether on not to write a review, but since I used Angie's List to vet Estevez Aluminum, I decided it might be useful to recount my experience. I received a quote from Mr. Estevez on Friday November 6, 2015 to cover a patio in my yard. It started with me being about fifteen minutes late largely due to the fact I was coming from work. Mr. Estevez was at my house waiting patiently when I got there which I appreciated. We walked to my patio in the back of the house. I showed Mr. Estevez a couple of pictures ideas I had. One picture included a cover design with polycarbonate sheets and pergola edges. Mr. Estevez said he didn't do polycarbonate sheets or pergola edges, only a flat roof. This was not a deal breaker for me. I asked him if he could add a side to the cover going about 6-12 inches down, this would have been about 14 linear feet. He said he could. He then took the measurements, 14x18, he paused for a moment, and said $7200. He handed me a brochure and a card on which he had written the price quote. This price was for insulated aluminum. Based on research of aluminum covers I had done this price seemed very high. I asked him about costs of materials and labor. He responded by saying a permit would be $1500 alone. Last year I got a building permit for a major renovation for $385. I knew the cost of a permit for building an awning by itself was $71. Needless to say I felt I was being quoted an unfair price. I was disappointed because I had been researching this company and other reviewers mentioned the contactor's honesty. This was very important to me. I did not feel the quote was honest. I thanked him for his time, and that was it. Based on the reviews here, I really cannot tell how much others paid for specific services. The closest I can tell is the job for $2520 on May 30, 2013 for a "11? projection and 17?.6? wide. With beam and 3 - 3? square post." cover. My job would be about 65 square feet more than this one.

Went great, Eddie was very easy to work with, accommodating and did the work at the lowest bid with a modern design.

After searching Angie's List for someone to replace my old awning that was missing panels, I contacted Mr. Estevez by email. Very shortly afterwards he responded to my email. We scheduled an appointment for him to come out. Mr. Estevez was very courteous, punctuational, and professional. He showed me a book of pictures of his work and I recognized the neighborhoods in DC where he had installed all types of work from a simple awning to a carport. Everything I saw showed excellent workmanship. Mr. Estevez took measurements for the new awning, I selected the color and he made an excellent suggestion which I agreed to, wrote out the contract, and gave me an approximate date when he should have the awning made. Mr. Estevez called me much earlier than he had estimated he would have the awning made but I was pleased. We agreed to the day and time for him to come over to do the work. The time frame we agreed to was approximately 12:00pm. In actually, I needed to go out the day he was coming but was home before 12:00pm. When I arrived, Mr. Estevez and his son had already completed the work and was cleaning up. I was surprised but pleasently so. The new awning placed over the back stairs makes that area look like a whole new world. I appreciate Mr. Estevez and his son for they did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the finished look.

Went great. This was not my first time using Estevez Alumium. Mr Estevez (Eddie and his son) put an alumium cover on my patio, May 2014, however, I had not joined Angie's List at that time. They did a wonderful job and the cover looks amazing, so I called him back to remove the old awning on my front porch. After they were finished Mr. Estevez said he wanted to check my cover on my patio to see if there were any leaves (which they were) and he removed all of them - in addition he went above the call of duty and also removed all of the leaves from my gutter which was many at no cost to me!!!!. I am retired and on a fixed income and knew I needed to have them done but was going to wait a couple more months. There are not too many contractor's I have found that would have done that - if any one is reading this and they need any type of awning or patio covers or carport covers( not sure what else they do), do not hesitate to call Estevez Alumium. When I am ready to get my new front porch awning, I will be calling them back. They are always on time, very professional and know how to take care of their customers!!! Mr. Estevez was very professional yet personable. He looked at what I wanted done and made suggestions. Once he measured the area he gave me a price of $ 1300 which I found to be very reasonable and then he targeted a date when he could do the job. Mr. Estevez and his son showed up on the date promised and was on time and immediately went to work. I was very pleased with his work and plan to use him again to put a carport over my backyard patio. I will most definitely recommend him to my friends. Eddie (the owner) responded to my enquiry within hours and even came to my home for a detailed quote by the end of the day. He was honest, precise, and deligent with his suggestions for the installation. When I mentioned a unique change to my existing downspout (I wanted to route it all the way out to the back alley `100' away) he was skeptical but called back later after he had more time to think about it. He agreed with my suggestion and gave me an updated quote for the added work and materials on the phone. The thing that sets Eddie and his company apart is the abiltiy to communicate quickly and efficiently. As a small, family owned business he answers the calls and you are always dealing directly with an expert in awnings. The installation is professional and I feel confident calling Eddie if I have any questions or in the unlikely event that something happens to the awning.

I WAS GIVEN AN ESTIMATE FOR A CARPORT IN MY BACK YARD. THE WORK WAS NOT PERFORMED THE ESTIMATE WAS GIVEN TO MY NEIGHBOR HOUSE. I DISCOVERED THIS AFTER THEY FOUND IT IN THEIR YARD A FEW DAYS LATER

Again Eddie and crew worked to impress. This was a difficult job since the actual cement patio deck was very uneven and required a lot of attention to detail to get the new enclosure to fit and door to open and close smoothly. We had a small hiccup with the aesthetics of the removable screens due to my lack of input during the project construction. Once I had some discussions with Eddie he went above and beyond what I was looking to achieve and the final product was spectacular. I would highly recommend the services and professional folks at Estevez Aluminum for any patio cover and/or screened-in enclosure you may be considering. My lesson learned: keep in constant contact with your contractor to ensure that your both on the same wavelength. Don't expect them to read your mind. If you have good communication, wonderful things happen.

Eddie Estevez and his son Frank installed the awning in an efficient and exacting manner. We could not be happier with both the awning itself and the way it was installed. The custom fit to the house is perfect. They worked with us to position the vertical posts as desired to optimize the aesthetics without interfering with car door opening on the adjoining driveway. The entire installation job took less than 3 hours. I can highly recommend this company based on the quality of product and workmanship.

OUTSTANDING! Materials and construction are top notch. Team of two completed everything in only 4 hours. Eddie and son knew exactly what they were doing and did it well. The materials are high quality and they were put together in such a way that they should weather through anything Mother Nature could through at it. I was struggling to find someone to do the job until I realized that people who install them can most likely help me with removal too. I called Estevez Aluminum and talked to Eddie. I described the project and he was able to quote me a price on the phone, which was great. Which was even more amazing is that he promised to come take them down the next day. The following morning he showed up on time and got right to work. Even though our house is very tall, he was able to perform the work in just few hours. After the removal, he cleaned up all debris and left the place looking very nice. Having dealt with a ton of contractors (who take days to come look at the project, then a few more days to give you a quote and then a few more before they can do the job) this was a fantastic experience. In addition to doing the work top notch, Eddie was a nice person to communicate with. I highly recommend Estevez Aluminum. When we're ready to replace the awnings after the new siding is up, I'm going to call Eddie again.

The owner responded quickly to my inquiry (same day call back) and provided an estimate the first business day after coming to the house to inspect the old awning that needed replacement. The work was performed when he said it would be and the workers were professional and cleaned the entire area after finishing. The awning looks great and more importantly, has withstood the harsh storms of this summer. I highly recommend this company based on my experience.

I called Estevez Aluminum (based on recommendations here on Angie's list) to request an estimate for aluminum awnings for the back of our house. My call was answered right away, and the person took my information and said that someone who could give me an estimate would call me in a few days in order to set up an appointment. The sales guy called me back, arrived for the appointment on time, and gave us info about do's and don't on the awnings. (We did have to push him a little bit on what HE would do if it were his house because my husband and I just don't know enough to make an informed decision about, for example, how far out the awning should go over the back door entrance.) He took measurements, gave us color options, and then gave us an estimate. We signed off on the estimate, putting down a 30% (I think) deposit, and planned to have the awnings installed about three or four weeks from that point. (We could have had the awnings sooner, but we agreed to wait until the threat of snow had completely passed.) Last week, I received a call from Estevez, asking when this week I could like the awnings installed. I said that it didn't matter to me, so they came on Monday. They put the awnings up in less than two hours, were super polite and nice, and left behind no mess. It was all very easy and painless, and the awnings look great.

Most of the planning and completion confirmation was done via phone conversations. Eddie insisted I have someone go by and look at the job before he would take my payment. Very professional approach to his work and customer contact.

Every time I have worked with them they are fast to respond, flexible in providing quotes (do not require you to sit through an hour's sale pitch to tell you what the job will cost). All of the work they have done for me has been high quality (lasts) and moderately priced.
