I got quotes and made all the arrangements to use them for our pool closing and a repair. I sent pictures and all the info they needed MONTHS ago. They came out to see the pool I thought they would be our go-to pool company. Then when I tried to schedule them I got a call from someone in their office saying the don't do closings or repairs on my type of pool. Their repair person WAS OUT HERE and saw the pool and gave me a quote. Now I'm in immediate need and I'm stuck without a company to do the services.

The provider arrived early. At least 15 minutes earlier than expected. buyer and agent had scheduled an appointment. Inspector did everything prior to arrival and was about to leave when we arrived. He was annoyed and "surprised" saying that he didn't know anyone was coming (which is ludicrous since he was expecting us to pay him). After asking a few questions, he basically provided excuses that he couldn't inspect the concrete, heater and drainage system for various reasons. He then asked for payment. This company DEMANDED payment in full PRIOR to his coming out. They threaten to not schedule if you don't pay. His report was minimal and did not include specific information that I asked for. For $275, this inspection was almost an entire waste of time. I felt he wanted to get home, and didn't want to be bothered because he wasn't selling us something. He was quick to tell me how much everything would cost to replace it. Total turn off.

Great to work with and were prompt and polite on site. Did a wonderful job - railing looks great and like it had always been there.

The pool is covered by a poured concrete deck. Therefore, they had to cut a small channel(about 10 inches wide) from the skimmer to gravel landscaping(about 10 feet long). A 60 ft. trench was dug to the pump and filter. They put the the gravel back exactly the way, if not better, than it was. Paving stones were fitted in the original concrete deck. All of the dirt and mud was cleaned away. Every question and concern was addressed immediately. The work was done exactly as promised!

They were great! Both Rick and Mary were patient and understanding. I asked a lot of questions and changed my mind a few times and still they were willing to make the changes and answer all my questions. I also asked for a lot of quotes during the job also still Rick was willing and very prompt and getting back to me with a price. Got a little worried at a couple of points during the job but always put my mind at ease. The work turned out beautiful and I have gotten a lot of compliments on my pool and deck.

I am really happy with them. I pay around $2,500 for the season. They are always prompt and they do a good job. They don't ever miss any appointments. They don't try to sell me a bunch of stuff and my pool always looks great. The previous owner of the house used them. They are not the cheapest place. They always get back to me if I have a question.

Our job was extensive and went as planned. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We continue to use their wkly service today. They are the best!!!!!

We couldn't be happier with Swimstyle Pool & Spa, Inc. Rick St. Denis and his team are amazingly responsive and professional and they do beautiful work. Rick and Nancy worked with us to scope out the project and get the proposal just right. This process was effortless as Rick was extremely responsive to questions and they provided us all of the resources we needed to choose our materials and clearly describe what we were looking for. Once construction began they completed each phase exactly as they said they would (and exactly on time and in budget). Mary managed things from a scheduling point of view and we always knew she was "on it" in terms of what was happening, when it was happening, who was doing it, etc... Another outstanding service aspect is that Swimstyle always left our property looking "pristine" after each day's work. Having lived through many a renovation project where the area is a big mess until the job is completed we really appreciated being able to see progress each day and being able to enjoy that progress rather than be distracted by "construction debris." The net result is that we have our new pool ready to open for the summer, it's beautiful and we love it! We would also like to note that while our total renovation needs were closer to $25,000, Swimstyle was happy to work with us on a two phase design and installation process so that the project would fit into our budget. We really appreciated a contractor that would work with us on our reality as opposed to trying to "hard sell" us on our dream. We will be back Swimstyle!

,The project actually went quite well, considering the conditions under which it was undertaken. Numerous springs in the area required Swimstyle to continuously pump ground water from beneath the deep end of the pool as they rebuilt it, no easy task, but they maintained the operation of the pump flawlessly to prevent the spring water pressure from damaging the grout base under the vinyl liner once the old pool water was drained. It was a relief when the new pool water was pumped into the pool to provide counter pressure against the ground water and no damage was done. The pool was originally built in 1971 with an almost s-curve, maybe better described as a corkscrew side - not straight at all, and when we asked Swimstyle if they could straighten that side out before pouring the new sidewalk and installing the liner, they said, "no problem". AND THEY DID IT. We were amazed. And it is straight still! So I strongly recommend Swimstyle, our experience with them was perfectly satisfactory.

It is not that I do not recommend them, but they are no longer my first choice. I liked the fact that I could depend on them to come out when they were supposed to. I did not like the quality of their service, though. They are not terrible, but I would look out for other options. I would try not to use them, but there are limited numbers of providers in my area. If I had to use them, I would.

It was very good.

The team was very professional, and was scheduled so that each team performed its work in plenty of time for the next team to come in and do its work. First came the guys who removed the pool cover and all the debris off of it, then came the guys who drained the pool and removed all the debris from inside, and another guy who came out and scrubbed the pool. Finally came the guys who performed the plaster repair work and installed the tiles. In all cases, the people were very friendly and helpful. In fact, while the tilers were working on the pool, one of them went around the front of the house and used the grout to repair some loose stones on our front stoop! When they took out the rusted diving board, the team didn't have any replacement patio brick. They went and got some brick of a similar color and added in a pattern where the diving board used to be. They were very concerned that what they had done would be acceptable. It absolutely was. In addition to the work performed on the pool, they also came out to the house more than once, as we had thought that we would need to also replaster the pool -- but once the water level was drained we all could see that this was not necessary. We are very satisfied with the work that this group performed. Although they were not the cheapest, they certainly did a wonderful job. 10/5/2011 update- SwimStyle has been very proactive in helping us investigate an as-yet unresolved problem with the pool light. It involves coordinating with the pool light company, and we have been pleased with their efforts on our behalf.

It went very well and stayed pretty close to projected time estimate.
