Rene from R&J Quality, LLC responded quickly, via phone, to my work order for a chimney sweep and inspection. In addition, he rescued a bird trapped in my chimney. After he surveyed my chimney, I was impressed with his professionalism in explaining the results of his inspection. He cleaned up his work area within my home leaving it in the same condition he found it. I will be doing business with him again.

Hired him to clean our chimney, for a wood-burning fireplace insert with chimney liner. We also needed several fire bricks replaced, which he did. Also needed adjustment of the firebox door, which had become a bit loose. He did all the above to our satisfaction, and our chimney draws much better now. We're very happy with his work.

Project title is not the work performed - work was installing chimney cap. Rene of R&J Quality, LLC was extremely responsive (within 15 minutes) to my request to have a new chimney cap installed after the existing one had blown off due to extreme rust and age. From my vantage point on the ground, the second chimney cap appeared to be intact. He agreed to install the cap the next day even though there was snow and ice on the roof. Due to additional snowfall on the day of install, we agreed to reschedule for his safety on the roof. Two days later Rene came and installed the chimney cap despite there still being snow on the roof. He arrived at my home at the time he promised. He was very friendly and started working immediately. He took photos of the missing and exiting chimney cap. After examining the exiting cap, he showed me that it was also very rusty and that it would eventually need to be replaced. I appreciated him telling me about the condition of the existing cap. He did not try to hard sell me a new cap but rather was bringing the condition of the exiting cap to my attention. I thought it wise to have the other cap upgraded and replaced while he was here. I was very impressed with Rene and the work he performed. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing chimney work done. The cost of the two caps and labor was very fair and reasonable. Good work done for our fireplace and chimney. Issues found with the wood casing outside the chimney. Refinished ( paint) and resealed. Good for a few more years at least.

Rene did an excellent job. I had 2 other technicians work on my stove and neither were able to repair it. The two previous techs did not reassemble the stove correctly. One left a tube unattached. The other one didn't replace the back cover correctly. Rene called to check to see if it still worked after his repair. Although I gave 5 stars to each category except one, $300 was a bit high compared to what the other company charged me, but in the end I didn't mind paying since my stove now works. I will use your company again, if needed. Rene was professional and arrived as scheduled. I will refer your company, if and when, I'm asked.. Peace and Blessings for the New Year.
