Ark Carpet & Flooring

Ark Carpet installed ceramic tile in my kitchen, cherry wood floors in my living room and foyer and carpet in the remainder of my home. After a few years, I began developing a problem with the grout coming up in my kitchen. I called Ark Carpet, and although they did not respond immmediately because the owner was sick (I dialed her cell phone number), once she called me back she and her team began fixing the tile that same day. Huge job, done completely in two days. Owner came out in about three hours after initial phone call to provide advice and guidance on selection of materials and preparation procedures for job (mainly, clear areas of all furniture, hardest part of job for us). In few days, two crews appeared on schedule for each part of the job, with one supervisor. All crews were skilled Asian and Hispanic minority group members. Asian team leader and some of the crew members spoke fluent English. Both crews had excellent worth ethic, got right down to the tasks at hand. Old rugs were taken up and hauled away very quickly. Sanding was done on original flooring with plastic curtain to protect other areas of house from dust. Crews worked together very well and had obviously done these types of jobs many times. Second day sanded floor was stained and Bruce flooring put in place. Outcome was absolutely beautiful. Erudite and likable owner came near very end of work for inspection and presented a small gift rug, a nice touch. Cannot recommend this company too highly. Wonderful experience.

ARK Carpet came out the same day that I called and viewed the work to be done. The estimate was prepared within a couple of days. TK and his assistant arrived on time. They did an excellent job of isolating all three rooms so that there was absolutely no dust permeating throughout the house. The sanding and staining of all three rooms and the application of the first coat of stain was completed the first day. The team returned the next day and completed the second coat of stain in all three rooms in about two hours. Tata visited on the second day to make sure everything was satisfactory. In all, they did an excellent job and we were extremely satisfied. (The company was, however, the most expensive of three bidders by a couple hundred dollars).

Carpet was installed first by (sub) contractors. Carpet job actually went pretty okay. But installers were high school students, so I was somewhat nervous, but they did a pretty okay job. The next day, the laminate floors and tile was installed, again by (sub) contractors. It went pretty fast, but numerous errors were made during the install and since they did not speak English, communication with them was very hard when I had questions. Most calls were made to Ark Carpet for translation of agreed upon tasks. During the tile install in the bathroom, they broke the toilet & they had to have it repaired. They forgot to seal the grout after the tile work, so I have to go back and do it myself. After the job was completed, the left a mess in my flower bed of shaving's from the power tools they used to cut the laminate floors. I complained. I have called them twice since the laminate floors were laid down because the floor is buckling. I currently have not had the issue resolved.

Outstanding service and quality installation of all hardwood. The workers were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They answered all of my questions and if I noticed anything they took care of it right away. The owner of Ark Carpet came out to visit and inspect the work as well. We are very pleased with their professionalism and work. We would recommend them to anyone.

THE COMPANY WAS VERY TIMELY, THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR CONTRACT, THEY DO A GREAT CLEAN UP, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO MY NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS. I WILL CALL THEM BACK SOON.

THE WORK WAS DONE IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. THE WORKMAN WERE FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. WE WERE ESPECIALLY DELIGHTED THAT THEY HAULED AWAY THE OLD CARPET AND PADDING.

THE WORKERS WERE ON TIME. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. THE PRICES WERE REASONABLE.
