The Sofa Store

Was quoted 6-8 weeks for delivery but it took 11 weeks. When the chair was ordered, could not use, the chair was not a wall hugging unit. Was not informed by salesman. Even though I sat in the chair in an open showroom. Would be nice for sales people to inform of all details of product. I feel that is their job, they sell the products for a living, we don't. Wanted to exchange the chair, not return. They charge a 25% restocking fee. If you use them make sure you know what you want before you order. Tried to talk to them to get them to waive the restocking since we wanted to purchase a chair we could use. They knocked $100 off since it took longer but still cost in the neighborhood of $180.00. When tried to ask who I think must have been a manager, last name of Luskin if he thought they should have informed us of the specs and just made a point to tell us that it wasn't a wall hugging unit. He says, "Didn't you set it in it?". It wasn't just the fact that he said it, but how he said it. Basically putting all that blame on us, the consumer. Not a great attitude if you ask me. Of course I took exception to it and reacted in a not so appropriate way. I can admit I could have not reacted so poorly, but when a sales person/manager had that attitude it puts you on defensive. I feel that is poor customer service and not a great response to a customer who WAS going to buy another chair and a TV and accessories from their Big Screen store upstairs. Guess who did not get those sales. Had a good experience with them in the past but unfortunately there will be no interaction with them in the future.

I really like that I could pick my material and put it on the sofa and recliners that I wanted. Plus, Jason was very good as when we walked in he gave us room to look around and then ask questions. It is 2 floors to the store bottom being high price than the 2nd floor. The furniture arrived and was exactly what I order. Would definitely order from them again and would recommend them to all my friends.
