Rich and his team are excellent. We've had work performed by Stop Leak twice. Last year, we had a new drainage system and sump pump installed in our basement and a new outdoor drain to tie into it ($6700). The work team was punctual, friendly, and cleaned up afterwards. The work looks great and we haven't had a porblem with basement flooding since. Similar experience with a window well drain we had installed a few days ago ($1750). We received a reminder phone call saying what time the team would arrive and they arrived on time. They replaced the grass that they had to remove and left everything looking as undisturbed as possible, including all the mulch they had to move! I would highly recommend StopLeak and would definitely use them again.

Went well. They are very busy but the crew showed up on time and did the job correctly. They cleaned up and took proper care to contain dirt and dust

everything went well. our basement was flooding and we were not sure what was causing it. the realized the drain outside the basement door was too small and would not allow rain water to drain properly. a larger drain was installed along with a sump pump. we are pleased with the results.

Stop Leak never identified the origin of the water and installed a sump pump In the wrong location. When I called them for compensation, I was told that I was responsible for telling them where to put the pump. I told them where the water was showing in the front room, its now been determined the water was coming in through the back room. Considering they are the professionals , one would assume they would research the source of the leak. This didn’t happen! They basically said “you signed the contract” Tough luck!

Stop Leak installed French drains in our basement. This involved excavating an area around the inside basement perimeter, installing a perforated pipe, stone, channel cove, sump pit, pump and drain, and re-concreting. The crew was professional, knowledgeable and technically skilled. This is a physically demanding job and crew members worked steadily as a team to get the job done. Their pride in their work was evident by the impressive end product. They cleaned up each day during the 2 day job. We highly recommend StopLeak to anyone who has issues with a leaky basement. It was a pleasure working with everyone in this company.

Our basement has been dry since the system was installed. The men who did the work were efficient. They arrived at 8:30 and were done by 12:30. They worked as a team with each man doing a specific task to get the job done. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They left the area clean. I would recommend this company to anyone who is unfortunate to have a leak in their basement. My husband has a heart condition and does not need the stress associated with a wet basement. Thanks to “Stop Leak”, he smiled after our first big rain. ‘It’s dry!”

This was a very significant undertaking for all concerned considering the length of the job (approx 210 linear feet). All members of the crew were personable and worked tirelessly during the entire project. Day 1 - Broke up concrete around the perimeter and dug sump pits; Day 2 - Laid drain pipe and stone; Day 3 - Concrete work was performed, discharge exits were drilled and pipes were put in place; Day 4 - A plumber came install a utility pump for laundry area; Day 5 - STOPLEAK returned to apply an anti-microbial spray and scrub walls. The workers took pride in each of their areas of expertise and workers tirelessly carrying buckets of concrete and stone up and down stairs all day long. --- Communication and responsiveness of Rich Fleury (Owner) and Ann Watson (Office Manager) was exceptional...Expect a little loud noise and some clean-up when it's over...but would hire again in a heartbeat!

I requested an estimate and the communication regarding the estimate was excellent. Rich came at the time agreed upon. He was very courteous and did not put any pressure on me. The estimate was competitive with other companies. I will probably use them pending some questions I just asked.

Stop Leak was fantastic to work with. They provided us with 2 prices. The higher price was going to be dependent on what they found once they opened the floor. Let’s be honest, it always ends up being the higher price, right? Well, it wasn’t! They came in and found they didn’t need to do as much as they thought they might. The work was done quickly and we haven’t had any water problems since. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.

Rich, the owner, was prompt in coming to give estimates and even came out once more when we found the 2nd crack so that it all could be checked out and repaired at the same time. He clearly explained his recommendations and helped us know to replace our basement windows (with a different company) before his company came to do the other work. Ann, his GM, was also great to work with and fielded several questions we had. The company repaired the large cracks inside and outside of the house, digging down to the footers to make sure they got whole cracks repaired and waterproofed. The cracks were repaired with mortar and coated with epoxy inside, and the outside cracks were repaired and coated with tar and plastic sheeting. Our job ended up taking longer than estimated due to lots of groundwater, clay, a pipe to dig around, and finding some concrete buried near one window that they had to jackhammer (2 days instead of 1), but the men who came out to do the job were courteous, hardworking, and kept me informed as the work was completed. It has rained a couple of times since they have done the repairs, and so far it has been great not to have water coming in near the windows or coming down the wall anymore!

On Monday the gentleman showed up to look at our basement on time. He looked things over and since we have a finished basement he said he couldn't give us a definitive answer unless we cut a small hole in our drywall. He didnt have the tools on hand so he said he'd be back early Wednesday morning with the tools to cut the hole. He said he'd give me a call if something came up and he couldn't make it out Wednesday then left. Wednesday came and went. No call, no show. As of today, Friday, still haven't heard from him. Abd this gentleman said he was the owner of the company. This is a pretty crappy way to treat possible customers. Needless to say, we went with another company. Cant really review the quality of work. But their professionalism and lack of respect for possible customers and their time is pretty atrocious.

Nicely, although the team was busy due to a wet spring season, the Stop Leak crew installed a great system in the basement. We're now bone dry, and could not be happier with the result.

Recently we have experienced extremely heavy rains, and our sump pump was not able to manage the flow. A frantic call to Stop Leaks resulted in a response within a day by Rich Sr. for evaluation/estimate about a more efficient replacement pump. The technician (Rich Jr.) returned within a few days, and very quickly did the installation. Both Riches (father & son) were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They explained the process to me, and cleared away any debris from the installation.

Despite being busy they came out for an estimate after a very friendly phone conversation. The followup came soon after and our problems were fixed before the new owners took possession of the house.

It was perfect. Great workers from the person who gave me a quote, to the office worker who wrote the contract, to the guys who did the actual labor. I strongly recommend StopLeak to everyone.

Estimator was very friendly, responsive and professional. Thouroughly described repairs needed and how work would be done. . Proposal was sent within 2 business days as promised.

Stop leak was my fifth estimate and am glad I waited. Rich, the owner met all my needs and saved me half of costs of other companies, had waterproofing, new sump, and new drain in stairway. The workers were professional and did the job as reviewed. They cleaned up after. They even disconnected my washer and bathroom sink to complete the job. Am very appreciative of their work to endure snd guarantee no more water problems in my basement, thank you Rich and company , highly recommend

The project went smoothly. The crew was pleasant and professional. They jack hammered and excavated the concrete, installed the gravel/drainpipe - connected the pipe to my sump pump pit and cemented over the "L" channel. They did have to dismantle part of my basement stairway, which I put back together after the cement dried.

The Stop Leak crew arrived promptly at 8 am, put down plastic to protect the carpet, and worked diligently throughout the job, finishing the work at about 10:30 am. The crew was very professional in answering all of our questions, and in explaining the details of the job. At the end of the job the crew cleaned up the area thoroughly. Hopefully the waterproofing work that was done will eliminate the leak in this room.

I was told they were booked several weeks out. They called later that day and said they could complete the job the very next day. They showed up on time. There were 6 men there to help. They seemed to have the process down well. They were professional and courteous.

Richard came out to give me an estimate of the cost and work he considered appropriate to fix a leak from the outside wall into our basement very quickly. While most companies said they would come out with long delays. They had the best price and Ann was a great point of contact. Work was scheduled and completed as promised all in one day. They were professional and courteous. And left everything very very clean. Additionally, they did not tear up the dry wall which makes getting everything back to normal much cheaper and easier. I would highly recommend them for this type of work. Since the work was completed we’ve had very heavy rainfall and no water has come into the basement. All looks good so far.

We had been in our house less than two weeks when we realized we had a large water and mold problem in our basement. It started as a very overwhelming process with lots of opinions from different contractors. Chris, from StopMold was the first to suggest testing and a strategic approach to fixing the problem. Rich and the guys from StopLeak were on time everyday, worked long hours, kept the mess to a minimal and were very fair financially when we decided to extend the scope of the work. In general, we’ve hired many contractors in the past at other homes including waterproofers and these guys were the most honest and straightforward we’ve dealt with. No nickle and diming the customer and they made a bad situation right. Hopefully we never need these types of services in the future again but we would not hesitate to call them.

He was here when they said he would be, fixed the problem and was gone before I knew it.
