They were very good. Adrian came out and assessed the problem and offered a few solutions/options. The crew came and their work was punctual and efficient and cleanup was very good. The drainage problem is no more, and the concrete job looks very well done.

My experience with Mr. Palazzi was great. He took the time to explain everything to me, and I never felt pressured. I thought he was very honest and trustworthy. The only reason I didn't use Stop Leak was because I had a valid warranty from another waterproofing company. In the future, if I have a need for any kind of foundation work, Stop Leak will be the first place I call.

Stop Leak's customer service is exceptional. After dealing w/ intermittent water leaks, we finally bit the bullet and called Stop Leak in late 2009. Adrian came out to our house the next day and offered two services: injection of sealant through the foundation wall and exterior injection of Bentonite. He recommended that we go w/ the less expensive altnerative and offered a life-time warranty. We went w/ his recommendation. Stop Leaks team arrive the next week. They were courteous, efficient and (even after drilling through cinder block) cleaned up such that you never know they were there. After four months of no leaks, a small leak just above the area that they treated appeared. My wife called Stop Leak. Adrian called back that day. Came by that week and had the team back the following week. No hassles, no questions about warranty. Only minor issue was that they failed to seal the drill holes. Merely cosmetic. It took me 5 min w/ some hydraulic cement. While my expectation was that the problem would have been fixed the first time, through no one's fault the problem was not. It is to Adrian's and Stop Leak's credit that they handled this professionally. In an industry frought with non-professionalism, Stop Leak is a gem. I would use them again.

Adrian was a great person to deal with. He was responsive, personable, and came to inspect the damage and provide a recommended course of treatment to stop the leaking. I'll begin with the end to put their visit in perspective. When I alerted my neighbor to the leak problem after contractors had visited my home to evaluate the leak, we found together he had a blocked downspout which was causing overflow to a common area between our homes, which was causing a leak in the same spot in our basements. A $15 part from the home depot and 1 hour of work and the outside leak was fixed. When Adrian came to visit, he inspected the basement, inspected the outside, and said it would cost between $3,000-$10,000 to repair. The $3,000 solution was to use sodium bentonite injected in to the ground outside the home to act as a water repellent. The $10,000 solution was to dig up the wall and exterior of my home and patch the leak. After my neighbor and I identified the problem, it discredited Adrian as either having problems with basic identification and diagnosis of water problems, or as someone who can't be trusted to act in a consumer's best interest. Additionally, after following up with our HOA, I was informed sodium bentonite injections are typically barred from use in the state of Maryland, and have been for decades. They require a special permit, and they were not sure how he would be able to acquire such permits given their perceived harm to the environment. Buyer beware.

The work went beautifully and was completed in a day. The whole team were excellent. Good cleanup. The truly exceptional piece of this excellent company is Adrian who makes the initial assessment He patiently and expertly explains everything about the work showing pictures copies of licenses, answering all questions. He is instantly available by cell phone. After the work was done a few days later I had a question and he was at the house within an hour. The work is guaranteed. We had to do some outside drain work (another company) and after both had been done we have had one major rain without even a drop of water in the basement, which before would have been soaked. I enthusiastically recommend this company.

This is the second time I have used Adrian. Just like the last time, it was an outstanding service experience. You can count on Adrian to assess the issue with a great deal of knowledge, explain the solution to you, detail what his team will do, how long it will take,price the work fairly and follow up to make sure you are satisfied before accepting payment. The work team was equally professional, on time, did the work efficiently, cleaned up so well you couldn't tell that work had been done (job required jackhammering concrete floor which is very messy!) and walked me through the installation so I understood everything. I needed to have an outlert installed for the sump pump and the electrician they subcontracted for the job was outstanding also!!! This is a quality company with an ethical and knowleable owner. No one likes to have water issues but Adrian and his team make the whole experience very positve. I would not hesitate to use this company- if possible I would use them for all my home projects.

Everything went beautifully. James was always instantly available by cell phone. His 3 man crew were excellent. His cost was less than one other estimate I received. These are wonderful people who are expert and nice and easy to deal with. I could not be more pleased

Adrian was EXTREMELY responsive. Everyone working on the job was friendly and trustworthy. The job was done very quickly, in under the amount of time they estimated.

He was honest and seemed to have integrity. I did not use him, though. I actually had a family member fix the problem.

It turned out we didnt need their services, but they went over the options and were very helpful. They thoroughly discussed it very well.

We had a terrible flooding problem in our basement, which had been going on since we moved in last year. After suffering through one company?s attempt to ?hard sell? me (three visits and 12 phone calls, yikes!), Adrian was the complete opposite--no pressure, just the facts, and he was extremely easy to deal with. I hired him because he was recommended by someone we trust, his estimate was fair, and because he did not try to pressure us. We had the bad luck of scheduling work that was delayed by three weeks of snow, but Adrian was great about staying in touch and being flexible with rescheduling the work. The workers came over on time (7:30 a.m.), and installed a French drain and sump pump. They were quick and efficient and did their work well. The whole operation took 6 hours, and they were out by mid-afternoon. It is a month later now, and I can say that the drainage system is working and our basement is finally dry. I would highly recommend Stop Leak to anyone with basement flooding issues!

Adrian was very easy to work with. He came over the same day I called for an estimate. Unlike some other companies that gave us estimates,the explaination was easy to understand and his estimate was very straight forward. Also, Stop-Leak's cost was more than half of the first estimate. Adrian took the time to go over exactly what was causing the water to come into my basement, measured and explained what he would do to take care of the problem. . The workers were diligent and left no mess at all. Actually, the basement(concrete) flooring looked better than it did when they begin. Initially, Adrian told me the job would take 3 days, but on day one he dispatched additionally workers to get it done a day early because rain was in the forcast for later in the week. I am very pleased with the outcome and would recommend Stop-Leak.

Adrian was very good in that he came on time and called ahead to remind us that he was coming over for an estimate. However, I question his assessment of our problem. First, he missed a large crack in our foundation and even asserted that our foundation was not cracked. Then, he also missed the condition of our gutters and asserted that our problem was groundwater and wanted to drill weep holes into the foundation and install a second sump pump. Adrian later called and apologized for the mistake.

They were prompt but, did not explain things very well. The price was also very high and they also suggested a lot of extra work that I felt was not necessary.

We considered purchasing a house with some unique problems. The entire gutter system directs water onto another private property. Furthermore, much of that water was re-entering the walls of the house. He proposed a way to redirect the gutter runoff back to the Sallie port drain and also improve the basement waterproofing by means of drilling weep holes and adding a silt "sock" to the drain pipe. He was very competent and professional. He presented earnest and honest. We did not purchase the house so we did not need his services.

We've owned a few homes, and it seems every one has at least a little problem with the foundation. There are so many basement companies out there who recommend expensive solutions when none is needed, or a different one is needed. I appreciate that Mr. Palazzi recommended I talk with an engineer first. He wants to make sure the right thing is done. He seems knowledgeable and experienced.

This was a very significant project in that it required underpinning of the foundation walls (required digging below the existing level of the walls and pouring new walls). We did a lot of research and obtained multiple quotes before selecting Stop Leak. Adrian made us feel confident his company could tackle this job from our very first meeting. He was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had and that responsiveness continued throughout the entire project. Adrian worked with the structural engineer to create a construction plan and also took on the task of obtaining the necessary permits. The crew was awesome. They arrived every day they were scheduled to and got straight to work. They made every effort to minimize the disruption and mess to our home. They also tried to minimize any inconvenience to our neighbors. From start to finish the project took 6 weeks, although they were not on site every day since they had to wait for the concrete in each wall section to cure for a few days before moving on to the next section. Adrian and the crew were excellent!

Adrian (co-owner) came over to give us a quote. Once we received the quote and agreed to the price, everything happened very quickly and efficiently. The entire job was done in 1 day (3 days before Hanna rolled through) and we didn't have anymore issues with leaks. We were very pleased. The entire staff and crew were very polite and pleasant to work with.

He was very nice an not pushy. Very simple and straight forward with his answers. He was very good at explaining what was wrong and it made sense. If we do decide that we would have this done we would definitely use him. He did not pressure us into doing anything unnecessary.

The owner of the company, Adrian, showed up right on time for the estimate and answered all my questions thoroughly. The workmen showed up right on time for the work. They did the job as efficiently and professionally as possible (as far as I could tell) and were very nice. During the messier parts of the job, they laid plastic down so as to minimize crud on floors/carpet. (However, they did not cover anything with sheets, which I had assumed they would. I would recommend, if you are going to have jackhammering done in the house, that you cover things with sheets.)
