The owner was very efficient in setting up an appointment; he came out the same day that I called. I felt his price was too high for me.

Adrian came and checked out a leaky spot in our basement, and after looking at the leak, the sump pump and sump pit, the drain tile system, and waffleboard that had already been put in place by the house's previous owner, he recommended placing a waterproof barrier to redirect water from the leak to the system already in place. Moreover, he recommended that we try doing the work ourselves first to see if that fixed the problem, do to the price he would have to charge to make a small job like this one worthwhile for his crew. He answered all my questions and was very pleasant.

I had developed small leaks in the basement of my 82 year old home as a result of recent digging around the foundation to accommodate some utility upgrades. Adrian ( one of the owners) responded to my initial request for evaluation on the same day and patiently explained what he could do to help. He responded promptly follow up questions and the crew arrived on time, on the agreed upon date one week later. The job was done properly, professionally, on time and within budget. No guesswork, no BS.

Adrian was one of a number of companies I had came out to look at the issue. Most agreed that a new drainage system needed to be installed. The price that they quoted was reasonable and I just felt that the explanation of the problem and the description of the system that Adrian provided was superior to the others. They showed up on time and completed the work as scheduled. Everything was done as they had stated it would be. I would definitely use them again.

About 1/3 of the way through a basement finishing project the contractor and I found a leak in my basement. We subsequently discovered a crack starting at the corner of one of my basement windows running all the way down my foundation. My wife and I were not happy, as this leak threatened the entire basement project. I came back to Angie's List and contacted 3 basement waterproofing companies. Stop Leak was the only company to respond and they responded the same day! They scheduled an appointment to come out the same day I contacted them. They quickly assessed the problem, inspected the entire basement for additional cracks and issues and then delivered the "good" news to me. I anticipated having to pay at least 3 times the amount they quoted me. They arrived on time and finished on schedule. Their entire team was very professional, very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. My basement finishing project is back on track! Responsive, on time, professional, great price, great group of guys... I couldn't have asked for a better experience during a bad situation. You won't be disappointed with this company!

He was very to the point, honest and gave me choices about what work I wanted done.

I went to the website and left a text message explaining my situation. The owner called me back on my cell and scheduled and time to come over to provide an estimate. Rep came to my house and i opened the door. He stated, "I would hate to wrestle you." I laughed off the comment and we proceeded to the basement. I informed him of the problem. He measured the area and i helded the tape measurer because "he did not want to get it wet". He informed me of what had to be done and i admit it sounded reasonable. I would have to move my water heater so they could do the work correctly. He then stated, "Good reason to join the gym- I'm terrible, aren't I?" I laughed off the comment once again, trying to be polite even though he was not. I lead him upstairs and he stated he would work out the esimate at his office and email me the pricing but not immediately because it was a labor day monday . I have not heard back from him since.

I was a few weeks away from going to settlement on my house but, an earthquake, hurricane and torrential rainstorms were too much for my house to take. My basement began to take on water. I had to remove a wall in the finished portion of the basement to uncover the problem. I discovered a HUGE crack in the foundation. I was in a panic. I called several companies and they all wanted to dig up the floor in order to waterproof the basement. Mr Palazzi was extremely responsive to my tight timeframe and to my need for a reputable company who would guarantee their work. He did not try to sell me more than I needed and as a result saved me thousands! The gentlemen who did the work were extremely nice and professional. They did what they said they were going to do and left my basement cleaner after their work than what it was before they started! I would recommend the company in a heartbeat.

In April we had 5 companies give us estimates to put an inside drain along 3 sides of the foundation. I found all the presentations to be very professional, extremely informative and very clear in their explanation of what they considered to be the problem, and with the manner in which they would fix it. The estimates ranged from $5490 to $6300. Even though we inquired whether the problem was with the foundation walls not being sealed well enough, they felt that the water was not coming from the walls, but from ground water seeping up from underneath the foundation. Even though they agreed it MAY be the walls, they still felt that the interior drain system would be the best to use because it would correct the problem whichever way the water was coming in and it was the only procedure they would guarantee. Well, after waiting for 6 months, and finding very little seepage especially with all this rain we have had recently, and with the advice of a local building inspector, we took a couple of panels off one wall and it is very apparent that a small amount of water does indeed come in through the wall. This indicates that the problem is that the outside of the lower level wall needs to be re-waterproofed, not that we have a ground water problem that is seeping up from beneath the foundation. We will be solving the problem with regrading the outside land to slope away from the house and new gutters.

It went wonderful, the process was smooth and easy and when it' was all said and done our basement hasn't flooded since through many heavy rains. We recommend these guys highly, the price was in the same ballpark as competitors and there was no hedging, no BS.
