Adrian Palazzo responded quickly to our initial phone contact. He came to the house and did a complete inspection, gave his expert opinion of the source of the problem and what should be done to fix it. He worked the job into the schedule two working days later. Crew arrived bright and early on appointed day, despite snowy weather. The job involved carrying all materials in and out of the basement through the living room of the small row house and down the inside basement stairs. They protected all surfaces and areas against damage and left the job site clean and neat. They performed the contracted work quickly and efficiently, and the team leader explained the work as they went along. So far, our experience is that Stopleak earns their consistently excellent reviews on Angie's list, and the transferable warranty on their work will be a benefit to be passed to a new owner when the house is sold as planned in a couple years. Adrian said call them back out immediately if any further leaks occurred.

I had dampness developing on my basement floor and thought I had a foundation problem. Adrian came within 24 hours and found that I actually had a water main leak, seeping into the wall. He called several plumbers and recommended one that could do the repairs (not all can). He did not charge, but provided prompt, professional service.

The Stop Leak team was great to work with. We had groundwater coming in to our laundry room and office where the concrete slab and wall met. Adrian came out and gave us a very thorough explanation of what was going on and what he would do to fix the problem. He was able to schedule the work for the same week, which was much appreciated since the water was coming in on our main level. On the day the work was scheduled to be completed the team arrived on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently. They put up plastic sheeting to help prevent the dust from the jackhammering from spreading through the rest of the house and they cleaned the rooms they were working in when they were done. Adrian was very responsive to all calls and texts and I felt I could reach out to him with questions at any time.

On Saturday evening we discovered our old sump pump was having a difficult time keep up with all the rain we were having. We looked on Angie's list and decided to purchase a Big Deal for a new sump pump from Stop Leak Foundation Restoration Specialist, Inc. Within a few minutes of purchasing the Big Deal, the owner, Adrian contacted us to set up a time to have his workers come out. We were very relieved to find out they were available to come to our house Monday morning. The workers arrived on time and did a great job installing and removing our old sump pump. We were very please with how quickly Adrian responded and even more pleased with how quickly we were able to get our new sump pump installed. We plan to use them in the future and would recommend them others.

Adrian and Rich and their band of foundation renovation ninjas ended 2014 on a high note. They took on a large and difficult job that five other companies rejected; got us onto their schedule very quickly; kept us informed at all times of the work's progress; and completed the extensive repairs originally agreed upon (and specified by a structural engineering plan), as well as the added drainage system, on budget and even a few days ahead of schedule. The county building inspector commented that our new foundation could support the Taj Mahal; sadly, a marble dome would look out of place in our neighborhood.

I was told by a structural engineer that we have some major drainage issues in the back of our home with multiple factors contributing to these issues. One contractor told me I should check in with a foundation expert, so I gave stop leak a call. Adrian answered the phone and scheduled a same day appointment to come out and look at my home. He came to my home and determined that other providers would be necessary to help me with my problem- so he wouldn't need to give me an estimate. He walked me through what he thought needed to be done in the problem area, and walked through my home with me helping me with other areas of concern I had with the foundation. Although no work was provided, Adrian's knowledge was very helpful and I would certainly consider using stop leak again in the future should we have a need.

They came on time for the appointment. They were able to answer all my questions well and told me what needed to be done. He gave some good suggestions about the basement. He coordinated with the plumbers and the work was done in 2 days. He communicated well and followed up with me well.

After being recommended by our realtor three years ago to deal with moisture in our crawl space, at the time, all we could afford was a new vapor barrier. Well, thanks to choosing an investment property and lower mortgage rates, we refinanced our mortgage to get cash out to perform necessary work that should have been addressed three years ago. Adrian was a necessary call for an estimate to address the moisture in the crawl space. He provided an estimate to install the pressure relief system, and gave a price to pour concrete. We ended up being unable to afford the concrete, and Adrian even took extra time to re-examine the work to be performed and was willing to negotiate the price once we learned that our cash-out was not what we hoped for. His staff left the house looking pristine, and even left the access room cleaner than they found it. What's more: while he said that they would run a hose from the dehumidifier to the sump pump, he actually ran the electric line and now the dehumidifier is even in the crawl space, where all the airborne moisture is. It's going to take while to get all of that dampness out, but thanks to Stop Leaks, we are on our way.

His honesty was refreshing; not trying to sell me something that I did not need and telling me what he really thought I needed, saving me thousands of dollars. He also warned me to be aware of other companies that might try to sell me a drainage system. I would highly recommend Stop Leak.

Adrian was very responsive and timely to my request for information and was able to provide me a formal estimate the same day that he came to look at my foundation. They were able to schedule around some other contractor work that I was having done and were able to accommodate my schedule. The guys showed up on time, were very professional and neat. I was expecting the job to take all day, but they were able to get it finished in about 4 hours. The process they use enables them to fill the crack all of the way through the foundation wall without having to dig out the exterior of the foundation to make the repair. So while I gave them a B on price, it was still significantly less expensive than the traditional way of making the same repair, and the repair is just as effective.

We had to have this service performed for our buyer in the sale of our townhome. We let the buyer choose the contractor. They went with Stop Leak because of the lifetime guarantee. Adrian was honest in his quote and gave me the same quote via email/pictures as he did when he visited the project. The scope of the work was so small that the cost seems crazy. My guess is that the price would have remained the same even for a much larger area to be treated. The epoxy still looks wet and is somewhat tacky, especially after rain. I got the work done for the new buyer so it is no longer my concern.

Adrian was prompt (and is well acquainted with the homes in my neighborhood, he was just departing from a neighbor's house in time to see me) and courteous, despite my angry dog's greeting. He showed me how my sump pump was operating, and told me why there were moldy spots on my exterior basement walls. I asked an additional question about hot water heaters, which he happily shared his knowledge about. He then looked over a sunken spot on my patio and told me what to be on the lookout for, and how to fix it. He told me what to look for in the long-run, in terms of my basement moisture, and action would need to be taken when things get worse. When the time comes, and I'm ready to make the investment, I'll call on Stop Leak/ Adrian again.

From the beginning to the end of the repair job, Adrian was there every time I needed him. He went way beyond the call of duty to help me, and he explained everything to me in terms I could easily understand. The members of the crew who did the work all get rave reviews from me. They are hard working, polite, and very pleasant people. They obviously know what they're doing: A hard, all-day rain a few days ago left absolutely no water in my basement. This repair job was neither simple nor cheap, but it never came close to the nightmare I was afraid it would be. The work was done extremely well, and I am sure the price was fair. I would certainly use this provider in the future, but that won't be necessary.

We contacted Adrian when we observed that the area around the pipe in our basement would leak during large storms such as Irene and Sandy. Adrian was easy to contact and was very prompt with his responses. When he came he said that there was two things that could cause the leak. There was a cheaper solution and a more expensive solution, where he recommended the cheaper solution. The more expensive solution would involve digging up our basement, while the cheaper solution was to fill the area around the pipe with an epoxy. The estimate for both were very reasonable, but we decided to go with the cheaper solution. Adrian said that if we had to do the more expensive option later on that he would deduct the amount that we spent on the epoxy ($400). We scheduled our appointment and the job was done very well and quickly. And we haven't had any more problems though we hadn't had a large rain yet. All seems great so far! Highly recommend.

Adrian was so helpful in talking through my concerns and came to my house twice and emailed extensively to work out a plan that I felt comfortable with. The work crew did a great job. They photographed the process for me, worked carefully and left the site neat and clean.

I had a pipe burst due to the extremely frigid temperature and water leaked out on the carpet in the basement through the broken pipe. I immediately had the carpet padding taken out to avoid mold. Though I had no major water logging issues in the basement, I wasn't sure if the leak led to or was a basement waterproofing issue. Nevertheless I went by the Angie's list reviews and called Adrian. Adrian was very patient, friendly and helpful. He arrived on time, looked at everything and gave me a truthful assessment. He assured me that we did not have a problem at hand. Basically said he didn?t want to waste my money and everything was in perfect shape since this was a one-time event. He even gave me some useful tips and checked on a few things for me, which ultimately gave me peace of mind that everything was in good shape. Appreciate Adrian's professionalism and integrity. I was under great pressure from my renters to complete he work so I had to go with my second choice only becasue they could start a day earlier. If I had been living in the home I would have waited the day for Stop Leak.

The crew was very polite. Before I hired them, I spent 5 weeks with a shop vac sucking up the water in the basement every six hours. We had weepy basement walls and puddling on floor. After calling them, they came quickly to give us a quote with several options. After we agreed on the options, they were able to start work about a week later. They came in on time each day and busted their butts to get the work done. They brought in two trailers every day to haul away the junk. When they jackhammered away part of the basement floor, there was a river of water and mud and rocks. They worked hard to shovel the mud and rocks into buckets and haul it out. They ripped out the old taracotta pipes and put in a new french drainage system covered with new rocks. Then they poured new concrete to fix the floor and make it nice. Whenever there was a question or choice, they discussed the alternatives with us. They cleaned up well all the messes made by the water, mud and dust. Would I hire these guys again? Oh yes. But I don't think I'll need to because they did such a good job. I love hearing my new sump pumps kicking on and off. I love going down to dry basement.
