Called with in 15 minscame and gave a bid, and 2 days later had the work done. Competent, and fast.

Dan, the owner, was responsive, professional and provided options for our home considering the present ductwork and block loads. The work started promptly and was completed on schedule.

Overall the service is good. I have two concerns after the installation. 1) Dan's worker connect the cold water, instead of the hot water as recommended by user manual, to the humidifier. After calling Dan, he said the manual instruction is not good and our gas furnace (unlike heat pump) needs to use Cold Water. 2) Dan's worker did not install the Remote Sensing Unit for the Aprilair 600 automatic humidifier as required by the user manual, quoting "they cannot find a north-facing wall and they do not think it is necessary". After calling Dan, he agreed to do the follow-up work. The remote sensing unit is now installed (good work!).

I found Dan Coyne to be very knowledgable about steam boilers and he had all the people as subcontractors that he needed so that it was one stop shopping. He had a chimney subcontractor and a fuel oil tank subcontractor to do the necessary work to line the chimney and remove the old fuel oil tank that was old and no longer needed since we switched to a gas steam boiler. The main thing that sold me on his expertise about steam boilers was his reasoning for replacing the return water line to the boiler. He also recommended replacing the very old vents on all the radiators, some of which I knew were defective and had caused some damage.

Even though I haven't had D&K start work yet, I appreciate the fact that Dan is courteous. They have gone out to provide me an estimate and arrived early, which my tenants appreciated. I look forward to working with them.

This company was great from the start. I was contacted immediately and received a home visit the same day. The work was performed five days later to my satisfaction. I went from a 57 year old heating system to a brand new HVAC system. The cost was less than $5000 with available rebates. They are extremely professional and gave me all the options within my budget. I would recommend them for any HVAC job. What a pleasurable experience!
