The job was quoted as a two day process. The team was there early the first day and immediately started and was able to finish the job earlier than expected. They did a great job with the painting and the clean up.

Crew chief Tony arrived and introduced himself. He was awesome. He told me he'd take care of everything. I had been preparing the exterior for their arrival but they wanted to start inside because of weather, but we hadn't cleared personal items from the walls. Tony assured me it wouldn't be a problem. I went to work and then received an email from the company owner complaining about the amount of stuff they had to move. I wasn't happy to receive this email given the circumstances. When I returned home, Tony assured me all was o.k. The guys did a great job, in my opinion and were very quick. Tony was very accommodating. Overall, very satisfied.

They did ZERO prep and painted over bubbles, etc. They dripped paint and left quite a mess. It looks terrible and the owner, Dave, couldn't have cared less. He was not present when painting was being done and was unresponsive when we asked him to make corrections. We would have been satisfied with an open willingness from him to try to correct the most egregious errors in the paint job, but he consistently blamed US. It's a shame because we had used him one time prior and were returning customers; but his complete lack of responsiveness to our concerns this time, combined with the amateur level of work, led us to have to file a complaint with the BBB. Sadly, we could NEVER recommend him or his company to anyone.

It's no wonder that CertaPro never posted my comments on their website. I went with CertaPro because they promised to immediately replace rotted fascia boards that supported the back gutter on a time and material basis. A 2 man crew arrived the day after signing the contract and removed one rotted board and announced that they needed more people to remove the gutter and complete the job. They placed a temporary board in place and said they would replace the rest of the rotted fascia when they had a full painting crew at my house. I agreed. CertaPro delivered material for the repair to my house. The CertaPro Supervisor promised me 4 times that the work would be done the next day. It never happened. Once the painting was completed, the Supervisor told me that CertaPro would not complete the repair because they did not have insurance and said that CertaPro considered that the job was complete. I spoke to Leona who said the same thing. My only option was to pay another company (at a much higher price) to complete the job. I do not consider this matter closed. Despite the problems with the fascia, the CertaPro crew did a good job with the painting portion of the job. I give people considering CertaPro this advise: 1) Their contract wording is vague. Protect yourself by being specific in the wording of the contract. 2) Do not expect that assurances made by the Estimator but not detailed in the contract will be honored by CertaPro. 3) Despite assurances that there will always be an onsite Supervisor who will resolve issues, don't believe it. 4) The Supervisor is the only member of the crew that speaks English well enough for conversation. 5) Expect that YOU will be the onsite supervisor when the CertaPro Supervisor is absent.

Pretty well. My only complaint with the job would be my dirty windows & screens from the power washing. The paint job looks great and was done quickly and cleanly. Great job.

Tony arrived at 8 am with his crew on Friday, 5/27/16 and began prepping the walls and molding and painted a few ceiling areas. On Saturday he arrived with a couple more people to help and completed the painting and did a beautiful job on the house.

It went wonderful. The crew was on time and did an outstanding job.

CertaPro was very responsive and showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule. They had about 6 people working on the job, so they were done in about 6 hours. I thought it would take a couple of days. So far the paint job looks great. There are a couple spots where they dripped paint into the screens and ground, and the clean up left lots of small paint chips. However, the price was reasonable and they did a great job.

The team arrived as scheduled, worked hard all day, professional and pleasant to deal with.

All individuals (sales & painters) arrived punctually and completed all services in a friendly and professional manner. Have already used again!

It went very well. The company was professional and responsive and made appropriate follow up to ensure punch list items were cleared up to our satisfaction They even followed up again just before their warranty period was to expire to ensure we still satisfied with the job. The only complaint I have was the crew neglected to use drop clothes some of the time and this resulted in paint and stain drippings on an impossible to clean fabric cushion and some other hard to clean surfaces. With this was brought to the project manager's attentions, he did reduce the final price by an amount to replace the damaged fabric. Note that this company also was to lowest bid (and by a considerable amount) among three bids we obtained for this project.

They were very good. I did think their price was very reasonable at the time. They used quality materials and the workers were diligent. They were quiet and just went about their job. There was no destruction, no loud music and no nothing. They just did their job and did nice work. I pointed out to them a couple of areas and they were very willing to take care of it without any question or any debate or anything. They just got on the ladder and took care of it. They were right on time.

Power washed deck one day and painted the deck the next day. Efficient and neat work. Cleaned up completely. Knowledgeable and pleasant team. Got my approval before leaving. I have used this company for both interior and external painting before and will again in the future.

We contacted CertaPro after my Mom received a notice of violation for paint peeling from the front of her house. My Mom's house is a brick corner row house in Baltimore City built in approximately 1936. We contacted 10 other contractors that were listed on Angie's List; 5 contractors did a site visit; 2 provided written quotes. We selected CertaPro for the following reasons: - They were quick to respond which was important as there was a notice of violation deadline to be met. - They were very professional and courteous. - They guided us through the process as exterior painting jobs in Baltimore City can be quite challenging. - They provided us a very detailed written estimate that included and amount and type of paint to be used and the equipment that would be necessary to do the job. - They had the proper licenses and certifications for dealing with potential lead paint removal and disposal and they were insured. Dave Streb showed up to check out the job and give us a free estimate. He was very professional telling us how they would do the work including surface preparation, handling the paint scrapings as they suspected they may contain lead based on the age of the home, he took numerous pictures, samples of the paint chips for analysis and suggested covering some exterior wood surfaces that were not in very good shape with pvc sheeting to protect them against further deterioration. He also told us they would get the permits that were required in Baltimore City that would be necessary for the lead paint encapsulation and also the closure of the sidewalk and blocking of the street in front of the home to accommodate the use of a 40 ft. lift truck. After we signed the contract with CertaPro, the work was scheduled within a week. Their team showed up on time, the equipment (lift truck) was on site, and workers began first thing in the morning. The crew was courteous, worked diligently, and cleaned up the work area every day. At the end of each day, the job supervisor provided my husband with an update and status of the work. They started the project on time, regularly updated us on the status of the project, and even finished a couple of days ahead of schedule which helped us save some money on the rental of the lift truck. I'm glad we chose CertaPro for this job and highly recommend them. Their service was excellent and the house looks so much better!....Even the city inspector was impressed with how well it looked.

They were very punctual. Showed me a paint sample and it was not the same formula I had chosen (not their fault, the paint store had done it) so they went back to the store several times to have the color remixed until we were satisfied. They were very neat, very professional. Moved whatever had to be moved and although we had cut back most landscaping there were still some tight areas for them. They used bunjie cords to pull back the landscaping while they painted which worked well, gave them the room they needed and did not harm any landscaping. Left no mess afterward at all; asked me to do a walkaround before signing off. I found two areas that needed touching up or had been missed (both small) and they painted those right away. Leftover paint was wiped neatly and left on my front porch. They completed the job in two days and it looks great. The job foreman was well-organized and very respectful. The whole team was very efficient as well as very nice. They were not the least expensive option but I had the most confidence in them and I'm glad I decided to use their services. The salesperson as well as the office manager were also both readily available and very responsive either by phone or email. The whole process took less than a week, from initial meeting to completed job. Very satisfied.

Even though this job took longer than anticipated (not their fault), I wholeheartedly endorse CertaPro's work and customer service. Hannah, their customer service contact, came to the house to look at the room and work up an estimate. She asked us what was the most we were willing to spend for the job and worked very hard to keep the estimate under that figure. She was very knowledgeable about the company and the services and painting in general, and checked back often on the phone and in person to see how things were going. All the work had been completed on the first day (stain blocker and 2 coats of paint), and the painters and Raffi (their supervisor) were packing up to go when Raffi discovered that the original stain on the paneling was slowly leeching from under 3 coats of product. He came back the next day with a rep from Sherwin Williams (whose paint they had used) and determined that a commercial or marine type of stain had been used on the paneling originally, instead of one made for home use. The next day Rafi and his team showed up with a top-of-the-line product from Sherwin Wms that cost $55 per gallon. Sherwin Williams donated the paint, so we had to only pay an additional $150 to cover the extra manpower. Raffi asked us to wait an additional day before paying him the balance on the job to be sure the extra coat would do the job. He showed up himself that day, did 2 or 3 very small touchups, and job was completed. The room looks even better than we had hoped. All the people we dealt with, including the office staff, were excellent. I would use CertaPro again without hesitation.

Exceptional work. My rusted wrought iron railings were horrible. However, CertaPro Painters made it look brand new again. The workers were exceptional and professional. They even painted my house numbers and mailbox without me asking. The front of my home was given an updated curb appeal with the professionalism and excellent craftsmanship of the CertaPro team. Everything was smooth from the estimate until the completion of the project. Dave Streb was a true professional and was timely and made it very clear what was included within my contract. They were not the cheapest but hands down I would trust them for my future painting needs.
